The campground is great. The sites are level. Some of the sites are too close together. There are not enough showers and laundry facilities when the campground is close to being full. We had the pleasure of having a cold shower during our stay. Noise carries very well in the campground. There are a lot of sites on the water, but beware, in summer they will be in full sun all day. The hosts were extremely friendly. Cell service was hit and miss at best. TV reception was fairly good. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park is beautiful. Sites are spacious and laid out well. Sites on water have concrete pads and many have docks and a couple have private decks. The non waterfront sites have a gravel parking pad but are still spacious and easy to get in to. The staff is very friendly. Restrooms are clean and have a laundry room too. It's a Corp of Engineers park and if you have a Golden Age Pass camping is half price. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A very nice COE park located on the Alabama River. The park has very good paved roads and a combination of paved sites, along with gravel sites. All sites include picnic table, grill, and fire ring. Bathhouses were nice and clean. There are no camping supplies sold at the campground, but there is a marina located next to the campground that has basic food and fishing items you might need. The only problems I have are that sites 9 thru 12 are located across the water from the marina and some of the lights from the marina shine directly at these sites. You have a constant glare from these lights on your site all night. Also it is quite a distance to the nearest bath house if you are staying in sites 25 thru 39. A bath house should be built closer to these sites for more convenience. Overall a very nice campground to bring your boat and go fishing, or to come camp and get away from it all. Plan on coming back again sometime. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very nice COE campground. Some of the waterfront sites are spectacular. You have your choice of wooded or waterfront sites. Most of the wooded sites are gravel and the waterfront sites are paved. Two reasons for an 8 rating; no sewer, not a big deal but it would be nice to have, and tons of fire ants. They should treat the mounds and get rid of that problem. Be very careful when walking your dogs. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
They are redoing all of the sites in this park and it is just fabulous. All of the riverfront sites are now big enough for the largest of RVs and are paved and level. Simply one of the best campgrounds we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This park has nice level concrete sites. Some of the sites are right on the river. The area across the river is developed, so the scenery is good but not great. There are more secluded sites surrounded entirely by the river and woods. The playground is relatively new and nice for the kids. The park is quiet and a distance from town. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Excellent RV park, COE always work hard to keep parks clean. We had a wonderful
waterfront/shaded site. Freindly staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. We camped here in a Motorhome.
