Both shaded and open campsites available. All sites have water and electric hookups. There are asphalt pads with picnic tables, fire rings and a trash can at each site. Most sites are fairly level and connections are well placed. Fishing permits are $1.50 daily. There are no permanent residents -- limit is 4 consecutive months. Gates to campground are locked at dark. $10 deposit required for gate key. $10 deposit required for bathroom key. Both are refundable. We'd stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park is located just south of the small town of New Market, which is about 15 miles northeast of Huntsville. To be honest, I did not camp at this park. I merely rode through for an inspection. But, since there was no listing, I figured I would supply some info. Most of the sites, located on a loop road around an open field, are very level. All the sites are paved with a paved patio. Some of the higher numbered sites are close together, but most are well separated with some small trees in between. I only saw water and electric hookups. This campground is located in a park that also houses baseball and other fields in an adjacent area. Although things were quiet when I visited, there were 5 or so campers in the park. There is one building inside the loop. I did not inspect it. I will definitely put this park on my list of places to camp. (Note: I got the price off another web site describing the park. ) We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
