We were placed in pull through site number 32 which did not turn out to be a pull through. The equipment was on the wrong side of our 36 foot trailer and we had to back out more than 100 yards upon leaving. It appears that this park should be restricted to small rigs only. It is far too small and tight. Even the dump station was misplaced. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very convenient to Denali National Park, six miles. Two nice hiking trails across the bridge off the Nenana River and a fairly well equipped grocery store. Prices in the store on the high side. Bring mosquito spray, lots of them when we were there in June. Shower facilities I have seen better. Front office staff poor, they seemed to be student interns. Could not answer many of the questions we had and no one around to help answer them. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Campground was very convenient to the National Park as well as clean and pleasant. My teenage grandaughters didn't think there was quite enough to do, but Grandma disagrees! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is probably, without a doubt, one of THE worst parks we have ever stayed at. The spaces are FAR TOO SMALL. It's like they tried to cram an extra 20 spaces into a lot that didn't have room for it. We weren't even able to park in the spot we paid for (full hookups) because there wasn't enough room for our trailer to fit with the tip out extended. Because the other surrounding units had their tips out, we were left with not enough space to open ours (I've never been in a park where that has ever been an issue. Literally, there is less than 4 feet between units), so we were put in an elec/water only space (and weren't offered a refund for the difference). The showers you have to pay for (in addition to the 43 a night you are paying to look at garbage cans and the back of stores. The ONLY advantage of this park is that all the souvenir shops are 20 feet from your door. There is NOTHING for children, I actually consider it to be pretty dangerous for them as there is tons of through traffic, no place for pets to do their business (like I said, they tried to cram 20 extra spaces in this place when there wasn't room) other than in your RV spot or in the middle of the road and the water was AWFUL. I just took a shower in our RV (because I refused to pay for a 5 minute time limit shower) and I feel like my skin is going to crack from the water hardness. We've stayed at the one a couple miles up the road on the bluff and it was a million times better than this one. Even with the distance to "town" a much better deal and much better park in general. This one will be forever scratched off our list. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This park has full hookups and 50 amp and free Wi-Fi. We elected to get 50 amp electricity and water but no sewer since they have a dump station. The sites are on dirt and gravel so it is a bit muddy when it rains. You get a picnic table and fire ring but there is hardly enough room between the sites for these. The water is pretty foul tasting but that is true throughout the area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great: especially for the women who might want to wander through the gift shops. You are only a mile from the entrance road to Denali. We would come back again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Good access to shopping boardwalk. Water quality not good. Water curdled the cream in my morning coffee. Didn't use the showers as they require guests to pay for shower use. Good access for large RV's. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here in our 33 foot 5th wheel and it was very easy in and out, plus our pull-through site was long enough to easily accommodate both the truck and trailer. The big problem here was the water: because of the iron in the water we were advised to run the hose for 15 seconds before hooking up but even after running it much longer it never ran clear and tasted bad. Two of the three nights: the highway traffic was loud most of the night. Our site was level, Wi-Fi worked but was very slow, and there was cable TV. The park wasn't very full and sites appeared to be assigned with an empty next to most people which was very nice. We'd made a reservation the first of the year and had to pay in full at that time. Upon check-in we were told even with the end of the season rates ours was $3 per night less and the extra night we were requesting would be at that lower rate we'd been charged. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

All-gravel interior roads and sites with a mix of pull-through and back-in sites. Tight for big rigs, which will only fit in the pull-throughs. Electric (30 amp) and water sites are available, and a dump station is located behind the office. The overall terrain slopes up away from the road, so leveling can be an adventure. Friendly and helpful office staff. Popular with caravans, but we were able to get two big rigs without reservations in for several days to do Denali. Free Wi-Fi. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Clean, things worked as expected, while the pull-through we used did not have sewer the dump was in a convenient location. As mentioned some road noise from the highway but not overwhelming, but we were reasonably far back. Good location away from the tourist area yet close. We would camp here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a four day visit. CG hosts OK'd our using an unreserved Handicap site so our 40' MH would fit. The other Category "A" sites (40' RV's) all taken by smaller RV's, despite our reservation. Category "B" sites are for shorter RV's. Our VZ aircard worked fine here. Riley Creek Mercantile nearby has good Wi-Fi, showers, small convenience store. Denali post office is nearby. Good location to get your bearings about Denali NP. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Wooded sites with lots of room between them. Varying lengths on sites. Divided into A sites for long rigs, and B sites for shorter ones. Good water and septic dump. Only negative was the noise from road construction and helicopters one and two miles away at the entrance. So we moved to Savage CG afterward. Then there is Denali: fabulous. Get there early with a big rig, or maybe you suffer! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

It seems the park has raised fees a lot since last year. We paid $28 to stay here, plus $4.00 for showers. The camp provides few services: laundry, Wi-Fi at the store (not at sites), showers for a fee. The camp was nice, but too expensive. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice dry quiet campground 15 miles into the park. We preferred this to Riley, due to the noise from the park entrance. Moose and grizzly bears and other wildlife passed through the CG. Has a good view of Mt. Denali when it occasionally emerges. Be careful of the large pull through sites. The curve of the site and the 4x4 timbers along the edges can fool you. I should have backed into mine, rather than pulling in. Wound up moving the 4x4 just to park. (Shhh!) Rate based on Golden Age pass. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We loved the short walk to the river and the nearby hiking trails. Of course, none of the campgrounds in Denali have power or water, but the scenery more than makes up for the inconvenience. We saw beautiful sunsets, and there was almost no sky brightness and plenty of wildlife. We saw snowshoe hairs and a vole near the river. The campsites were closer together than I liked but still private. They had back-in sites for shorter rigs and a series of arc-shaped pull-through slots for longer rigs. Our pull-through was not very level, but it was easy enough to get in and out of. The flush toilets were rustic but clean. Bear-proof trash cans were located at the sites, and there was water available nearby. It was not really wilderness camping, but you did feel as though you were out in the middle of the wild. Our campground host was very friendly and helpful, and a ranger gave a lecture two out of the three nights we were there. The one downside of our location was that it was a long drive to everywhere. The only showers and the dump station were at Denali’s Riley Creek Campground at the bottom of the mountain (15-20 minutes away). The laundry room at Riley Creek looked excellent, but we didn’t use it. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is the "end of the road" campground in Denali, at least as far as you can drive your own rig (30 miles into the park). It's a dry camping option, but the campground has very nice vault toilets so you won't fill up your blackwater tank needlessly. Water spigots are available, but not to fill your freshwater tank. The sites are level and far enough apart that the sites have some separation from the neighbors. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Generator use or vehicle idling to charge house batteries is limited to 8-10am and 4-8pm each day. You must stay here 3 days minimum (or at least pay for 3 days when you register). The only time you can drive back towards the entrance is when you leave the park. When you register, be sure to also request a "Tek Pass", it's a bus pass for the park shuttle system that will take you further into the park for sightseeing and animal viewing. You pick a destination to visit your first full day in the park. You will have a guaranteed seat on the bus that day, the Tek pass is also good each day thereafter for space available bus seats. When you leave the park, there are a group (4) free dump stations/fresh water fills at the Riley Creek Mercantile at the park road entrance. The mercantile also has a store, showers, and a laundromat. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A three night minimum stay is required so plan ahead. Be sure to purchase one shuttle bus ticket for each person in your group before going to the campground. Have the shuttle ticket(s) stamped as a Tek Pass so that you will be able to ride the shuttle buses on subsequent days at no additional charge. The campground is beautiful and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Denali National Park. There is a campground host available with radio access in case of emergency. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Big rigs can fit into many sites. There are only 4 pull-thru sites & are not for big RVs. There are "semi" flush toilets - a glorified vault toilet, but were not kept clean. There is a 3-day minimum stay with no driving your vehicle after you're parked at the campsite. Towed vehicles are not allowed but can be left in the park's long-term parking lot. Dogs are allowed but definitely cannot be left unattended or you'll be asked to leave, so keep in mind if you plan to take the shuttle bus for critter-seeing. There are water spigots but no dump station or water fill. The dump is at Riley campground at the park's entrance. Come fully prepared as you will be at the remote Mile 29 with no facilities. The campground is open approximately mid-May to mid-Sept., weather dependent. The convenience of hopping on the shuttle bus whenever you want to explore the inner park is an added perk. You do need to purchase one daily bus ticket but then additional days of riding is free. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
