Never again will we stay here. The campground itself is OK but so many kids on bikes and go karts in areas they are not allowed. Dangerous. Staff does nothing. Our neighbors let their dogs sit on our picnic table and leave their excrement for us to clean up. When we asked them to shorten the leashes they just shrugged. Other neighbors kept us awake until gone 2 am with campfire and talking right next to our bedroom window. Sites are too close together and no thought has gone in to the location of fire pits. Sewer outlets are very close to neighbors sitting area, nasty, especially when your neighbors takes his hose off and just leaves his tank open and the dirty hose on your campsite. Beach is OK if you like smokers right next to your kids. They should have no smoking on the beach. The lake looked very dirty and it was warm so who know what is living in there. Very expensive for what you get. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This campground has a remarkable reputation, and it is well deserved. The campground is very clean, and the staff are awesome. The beach is combed every night so the the next morning it is great sand. The place is an awesome family spot. We camped in the 200 section which is a bit of a walk to the lake, but the sites are big and in the trees. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
The nicest family campground in Alberta, there are go-carts, beautiful lake with a large sandy beach. The restaurant is great the sites are well treed and there is no outside noise. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
The park is not bad for the price. The only draw back is that the full service sites only have 15 amp power so you have to be real careful not to trip the breaker. Price is good and the campgrounds are close to such things as the golf course and the rec center. We would recommend the campgrounds if you are in the Stettler area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
