Very handy park and well laid out with pull-hrough gravel sites. Nice dog park that we were close to. Water pressure and voltage were good. Iron Skillet restaurant several hundred yards away was very convenient to walk to so we left the trailer hooked up as we were only staying for the night. Shell fuel at the side of the Petro was cheaper than the diesel on the truck stop side. We would stay here again if passing through. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The last time we stayed here was almost 6 years ago. I had justifiably good memories of it. The website suggests most use it simply for an overnight stop as we did both times, and it is way better than that. It is most definitely a desert park, but, especially the office area, is very well landscaped. The sites are pea gravel. I was able to get perfectly level manually with all wheels still grounded. That's better than some with concrete pads recently. Only a single WIFI access code is given, but my wife understood that if it was a problem we could have another. We usually use our own 4G anyway, but it didn't work well here. (When I did use the park's it was just fine.) Another plus for me is the nearby gas station. And apparently for others as well. There were 3 of us from the park there shortly after 7am. Gas was much cheaper at the truck stop next exit west. While it is 16 miles to Kingman, that's why I have a toad. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park. Paved roads with pea gravel and long level sites. Good Wi-Fi. Very nice owners give a pleasant experience. The park is up on a hill side overlooking a restaurant and truck stop and far enough away to escape the noise and commotion. Everything worked well, and we will seek this park out on our return to this area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate is with 15% SKP discount. This park is conveniently right off I-40 behind a Pilot truck stop. Iron Skillet and Dunkin Donuts within walking distance. Even though we were close to the highway, we were higher up and therefore never heard the trucks nor traffic. Very clean park. Sites: Decent sized, most with a nice shade tree. Pea gravel which was kept refreshed. Bathrooms: Clean, but a little bit of a walk from RV. Laundry: Great laundry. I should have done my wash there. Many units, 2 sitting tables with magazines, large table for folding clothes. Pets: Welcome. Two small dog parks. Large enough for a little running and enough room for play. Wifi: Worked well. Verizon internet: Excellent Sprint internet: Very Good Verizon phone: Very good AT&T phone: Very Good Book exchange: Activities: Not much. Horseshoes. Area/Town/Sights: Not much to do around here. The town of Kingman is 15 miles away and that is where the stores, restaurants are located. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects Good Sam discount. This is out third stay at the Ranch. Arrived after a long day in 98 degree heat and a lot of wind. Check in was very easy and quick. Pulled into site #13, leveled the rig and then plugged in the power. Our Surge Guard surge protector showed no power from the receptacle. Did some troubleshooting then called the office. After about 15 minutes, maintenance man showed up and said he would have to replace the plug. Moved to site 12, where I had already checked the power. Note to self….check the power before setting up the rig. Good water pressure. The WiFi is free with moderate speed. You can only connect one device per account so when I was connected, the wife had to wait until I was finished. A little bit of a hassle. There was a distinct sewer smell, which I suspect was coming from the horse corrals. It was bad enough that we didn't sit outside at all. Our Verizon Jet Pack connected at 3G with three bars, but was very, very slow to the point it was useless most of the time. Did not use any of the facilities. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I like this park a lot. When you get off RT 40 at Exit 66 there is a truck stop for easy fill up. The park is then up a hill, far enough away from the road and truck stop. The park is very quiet. Very clean. Nice 'natural' landscaping. HUGE pull-through sites. Exceptionally nice laundry room - and only $1.00! Two nice dog areas, and trails to let your dog run if you choose. Camp hosts could not have been nicer. Camp is surrounded by mountains, awesome view. All in all an exceptional park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice park. We had heard good things about it and decided to make it a few day stay on this trip. We were not disappointed at all. The staff was great and very helpful. The sites have a table and are wide and long. It is a desert setting so it is rock (pea gravel) and trees. The laundry room is big and very clean. We will be back again. It just don't get any better. My rate reflects the winter special of pay for two months and get the third month free. This is my winter spot! The rate does not include electric as it is metered, but it does include cable TV, WiFi and a nice level back-in site with plenty of room, picnic table etc. I was looking for quite awhile for a place to hang my hat for the winter. This owner was very responsive to my emails and made some great suggestions and some alternative pay plans, great people. Can you say clean; this place is spotless. Gravel sites, but nice small "P" gravel, raked and clean. Good hook-ups, lit, but not too bright. Wonderful rec room and by far some of the best bathrooms and shower rooms of any campground. Large 10 foot square full bathroom, shower, toilet, a nice sink and counter, hooks to hang your clothes; they thought of everything. I was at one other campground that had this type setup and always return there because of it. I will be back here for sure, maybe all of next winter or at least 3 months. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is a nine only because they do not have paved sites. The gravel sites were not exactly level but they were OK. We were able to park our 35' and truck without unhitching. The laundry was very clean and inexpensive. The entire park was well cared for. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even the permanent sites were well taken care of. Cable stations very limited but worked well. Just off I-40 but noise was not a problem. We would return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Out in the middle of nowhere...should have known since it mentioned horses. All dirt, more like mud pit. We did not end up staying and they refused to refund us. We chose another park in the area and we were extremely satisfied with other choice. We WILL NOT stay here in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.

My wife and I wanted to get out of town for Thanksgiving week and choose Blank Ranch RV Park over several campgrounds we researched from western New Mexico to eastern California. I’ll point out the things that I look for in a park and hopefully I’ll cover a few of yours. First the highway noise; there is some but it never bothered us as it reminds us we are on vacation (not full timers yet!) and actually is relaxing to us. I can’t speak of the wash rooms or laundry because we use are RV for these purposes. The park is well maintained and clean with very long and large gravel sites (we were in site 20). Also important to us (mainly me since I do the driving) is the ease of pulling in and out of the site this certainly was no problem with our 40’ MH with tow. The utilities were fine with maybe the water pressure being a little low but certainly not bad. There is cable available and did use along with our satellite which we had no problems with signal as well as the Wi-Fi. If you have four legged friends as we do you will love the dog runs. They have two adjoining large dog runs with where you can remove the leashes and let them run, part of the reason we chose this park. Overall if you’re looking for a park that is clean and quiet with a well stocked store and friendly owners you should try this park out, I’m glad we did and we’ll definitely be back when in the area. Price reflects 7 day stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park is super easy to access off I-40 and has a truck stop nearby with low fuel prices, a restaurant, and store. The park is restful with large sites, very clean restrooms, and wonderful private shower rooms. The staff is great, and the grounds inviting. There is a little road noise from the nearby highway but not bad. We will definitely stay here whenever passing by. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Great overnight spot with pull-through sites. Our satellite TV worked well. The best thing about this park is the dog run. You can let your dog of the leash. Staff are friendly. Its next to a truck stop but we never heard any noise. We did enjoy the truck wash and the Iron Skillet (breakfast) before hitting the road. We would stay here again for the night. This park is clean and attractive with paved interior roads and gravel sites. Each site has a small tree and picnic table, is spacious and level. Power and sewer were good, water pressure a little uneven. Satellite TV reception was fine, AT&T cell had five bars but no Internet, Verizon Wi-Fi dropped occasionally. I gave this park a 9 because of freeway noise and trucks using their engine brakes to slow down for the truck stop. I used ear plugs to sleep. I would stay here again, with ear plugs. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A nice park. Long dirt pull through. Free Wi-Fi for one computer. I can't agree a 10 as some say even though it is very nice. Gravel/dirt, no pool, no fitness center, one computer Wi-Fi, a fair walk to restrooms from sites, that's not a 10 in my book. Still $25 for 50Amp and this nice is very welcome. This park is top-notch. I rated 1 below a perfect 10 only because if it were isolated and away from traffic noise, that would have been 10. Very nice folk that own and run the place. Showers are individual rooms with a toilet and even with a sanitary paper bath mat to step out upon from the shower - like a fancy hotel. Wow! If you are disappointed with this place, put a For Sale sign on your rig and stay home. We camped here in a Motorhome.

First off, as a previous poster said, watch the bumps coming off I-40 east from where you exit up to the park! Petro is a very busy truck stop with scales but the only noise you hear when you're outside your RV up at the campground is the low rumble of trucks on the interstate. Food at the Iron Skillet is good and plentiful. The park itself is past the truck stop and is bump-free, very well kept, easy pull through's, very friendly, helpful staff, and just a lovely place to be. Wi-Fi works very well (although only one computer on at a time from a campsite) and Verizon phone has a good signal. Not a lot of cable channels (10 or so) but the ones they have are good. Didn't try our antenna. There are 5 geocaches within 3 miles of the campground (3 of them are within 1 mile) and many more in Kingman. We would definitely recommend this park to anyone who wants to be away from the city but still visit Kingman and historic Route 66. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The people that run this park are extremely nice. They go out of their way to help you. I would recommend anyone passing through Kingman, AZ, to stop and enjoy this park. Conveniently located to get in and out but go very slowly past the truck stop and into the RV park area. Major bumps!! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here for our first night in a rented Motorhome after arriving from England. Needed a stopover between Vegas and the Grand Canyon and chose Blake Ranch after reading the reviews on this website. Arrived a bit later than planned, at close to 8pm. The office was still open and we were made to feel very welcome. Sites are level and spacious and with easy access. Site is clean and we had a very comfortable night with no noise from the freeway. A great welcome to the US and great value for money. Recommended. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very well maintained grounds and facility. Very nice lady at check in and attention to detail. Pea gravel sites with easy access. Trees at each side for some shade, but still small. It was hot while were there, but we simply went to shady side of RV. Too windy for awning. Only stayed one night, but would easily stay longer if had the time. Great stop or longer stay. Two fenced dog runs. Truck stop at foot of hill has lowest price fuel in area. The is a Dunkin Donuts and restaurant at the truck stop. Quiet despite closeness to Hwy 40. Great campground. Agreed with positive comments from previous posters. We were in space six and on first pull through. I was level front to back and side to side! We were only staying one night and I didn't even have to unhook. At sign in the office offered a buy one get half off coupon for the buffet at the Iron Skillet at the Petro. That's hardly a 5 minute walk. It does not have a pool but with all the shade trees it would be a nice place to be for a couple of days. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice campground, very very clean and well maintained. Each site has a tree for shade, a picnic bench and gravel parking. Easy to reach from highway 40, just north of Kingman, AZ. Clean park, nice staff, conveniently close to the I-40, everything worked as advertised. My wife and I felt comfortable letting the kids explore on their bikes. There are actually some fun dirt paths nearby that we explored on our bikes. Not a lot of shade and not a lot of charm, but for a safe and clean stop in Kingman this one is dependable. Convenient, extremely well kept campground. Friendly staff. The small convenience store is nicely stocked with necessities. The campground is on a hill overlooking I 40 but far enough away that the traffic noise is steady and low if windows are open. Friendly ladies in the office, easy in and out, and also got a Good Sam discount of 10% (so, $22.50 per night with the discount). We bought some Aqua-Kem in the store and went to our level site. The cable TV was a bit snowy and the water pressure wasn't quite what we would have hoped for (in the last spot in our row, number 15). Even so, it was good enough for a shower. Rate reflects an Escapee's discount. Clean, quiet, close to fuel, and they sell propane here as well. Our site was a level, gravel pull through so we did not have to unhook our toad. This is not a destination RV park but a nice place for an overnight stay. Helpful and friendly staff. Looked like there might be some long term folks there but it was quiet at night and a very easy on/off the freeway. Nice area for pets and a little playground for the kids. We will stay here again. This park was easy to get to off of interstate I-40. I heard very little noise from the interstate. Sites were very generous, level gravel, easy to get in and out, and no problems putting out slides. Check in was fast and easy. I was not happy with the free wifi. It was slow and difficult to log on. Don't log on then set your device down to go to grab a drink because you wont be logged in when you get back. This park is fine for an overnight stay We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Everything about this park was excellent, from the check in to the check out. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Very clean spots. Immaculate laundry room with plenty of machines. We have stayed here before while in the area. This time we stayed for 4 nights and explored the area. Sites are gravel and full hookups with cable and wifi. Nice place for being out on I-40. Far enough from the truck stop on I-40 that the noise is not an issue. Huge laundry and the bathrooms are individual rooms with everything inside each room. This is a great park just off I-40 on the way to Vegas. Although close to the Interstate the road noise is minimal. Sites are very long, so if stopping just overnight no need to unhook. Bathrooms and showers are exceptional. Nice pet area too. If you are like us and use the showers, the only negative is they are at the front of park by office, so a little walk and not a lot of light if you rise early. Staff very friendly too. Blake Ranch is a very nice campground. Shore services are all good. It is mainly gravel, but sites are level, close to a truck stop for fuel. For those that have horses they have sites off to the side for boarding horses. I really like this campground. If your in the area feel good about saying here. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I'll just echo everyone else. This park knows how to do it. Great large sites, easy maneuver inside the park and on and off the highway. Well stocked store, propane and blazing fast internet. Diesel/Gas at the bottom of the hill on the way out, beautifully maintained park, hookups in excellent condition. These guys set the standard for how a park should be set up. This is a well managed CG that is meticulously maintained and has all the amenities needed after a day's travel. The office personnel are very pleasant. There are some extended stays who have spread their wares out during their stay but no so much to be obtrusive. Surprisingly, even though the CG is 3/4 mile from the freeway, it does not cut down on the noise that continues throughout the night. If I should find myself in Kingman again I would stay at this CG. We chose Blake Ranch because it was a good days drive from home on our way to California. Access was easy from the freeway. It was far enough from the freeway so traffic noise was not a problem. There was some noise from the Petro truck stop just outside the park, but not distracting. Space between sites was adequate. Site access was very good with lots of room for turning within the park. We had a cable TV hookup, but didn't use it. Showers and restrooms are very well kept. This is a great park for RV'ers stopping for just one night or for an extended stay in the Kingman area. We really liked this campground. It is quite a ways out of town to the east, and is adjacent to a truck stop, so there is some noise here. The sites are very long and very well spaced. We had high expectations for this RV Park before our arrival. Based on the previous reviews, Good Sam report, and after contacting the park by phone, this seem like a can't miss gem of an RV Park. We were prepared to spend a week here. So glad we did not make reservations. This is not a gem of an RV Park and it is not a sufficient distance from the large major fueling stop for trucks. I-40 and the truck stop produced noise that projected into the RV Park. The sites and access roads are all gravel. There are a few shade trees, otherwise the place is just a terraced gravel lot. The small narrow clubhouse appeared to be rundown and the library was composed of old romance paperbacks. The worst aspect of the place was the bright stadium lights on top of 50 foot poles. Combined those with the truck stop lights and there is 24-hours of daylight. The staff sure had a different attitude once we arrived as compared to on the telephone. They seem to us to be unfriendly and not in anyway accommodating to a guest. The staff actually scared us and made us feel unsafe. Between the potential for unwanted guest from the truck stop and the RV Park staff this was not a safe and secured RV Park for us. Instead of a week we stayed one night. We will not even consider staying here again even if it was free. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We over nighted here twice - one of our way to our destination and again on our way home. The office staff were friendly and helpful. I like that they were open until 8pm. Each time we used the shower facilities early the next morning. They were clean and the water was hot with good pressure. The sites were level and easy to get into. This park was immaculate. There were large pull-through sites that were level, good cable TV and WiFi, great laundry, friendly staff. We stopped for an overnight, and stayed an extra day to play golf. Others have commented negatively about the gravel sites, but we liked them. Each site was separated by a tree and a bush, and each site had a picnic table. The mild temperatures and breeze were perfect for sitting outside. Nearby is a truck park for fuel, and a truck wash that was done manually by their staff to wash and wax the RV, plus a restaurant with 'home cooking'. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is exactly what it is designed to be: a great place to stop along I-40 for a night or two, or in our case, three. Access was a breeze for us in our 40-footer. There's plenty of room. This a good overnight RV park if you don't want or need cable TV. Their free cable TV is a joke. 9 channels and half of them you can't see what's going on due to snowy reception. This is a nice, well laid-out campground with wide asphalt drives and wide turns. The sites are all rock but are firm and graded. The utility posts are well positioned and new. The sites are very wide and include a picnic table. The restrooms and showers are some of the nicest we have ever seen. There are (2) nice fenced dog runs. The management was very nice and helpful. We paid and filled paperwork per instructions and found a site in the dark. Poor or non existent lighting in the campground. Very poor customer service. When we were awoken at 5am by noise from the gravel pit that sits adjacent. In daylight we saw that sites are not level but roughly graveled and close to I-40. This is a small RV park just off I-40, but with very little road noise. It is well maintained with nice, level sites, and very helpful staff (including a convenience store in the office). There are two fairly large, nicely maintained dog runs. The RV sites have several trees, which provide some shade in the Arizona sun. The landscaping is modest, but well maintained. We stay here every time we pass through Kingman, AZ. The sites are spacious, neat and level. It is easy on, and easy off the freeway which makes this a great stop for an over night. This is a very well managed RV Park. The sites are long, wide, and level, and all utilities worked. There are 6 individual shower rooms, which are complete bathrooms, and they're kept very clean, and in working order. The store is well stocked, and the staff are helpful and friendly. The cellular signal is good, but not Verizon, so we could not use our broadband card on high speed. The park contracts with a WIFI service at $3.95 daily, (much less for longer stays.) We will stay here longer next trip through. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Clean, secure, park with full amenities. Paved roads with full size trees (important in the SW) on a hill with view of surrounding mountains. Managers are very attentive and friendly. About a half mile from the interstate and truck stop with very slight noise. Unique feature is ability to board horses as well. We stayed two weeks and would definitely would stay again. Very big rig friendly park. You are directly behind the Petro Truck Stop, but you are also far enough away that you can not hear any noise. Check out the Iron Skillet at the truck stop, great food. This is the most beautiful and well kept campground we have ever stayed in. The showers are set up like home bathrooms and are spotless. The laundry is also spotless with lots and lots of washers and dryers. A huge clean dog run and friendly staff. Wi-Fi fast and available at your site for free. Cable TV also free. I stayed at this RV park in 2006 and failed to review it on this site but should have. It is a really good overnight stop with bigger than normal sites, great free Wi-Fi, no road or train noise like the RV parks closer to the city, a very clean operation, friendly ownership and a really great bargain especially compared to the competition a few miles away charging 50% more than this place. It is also very dog friendly in that there are two big and clean leash-free areas for the dogs. I write this review from this RV Park and plan to stay here next time when we will stay for an extra night and fully explore historic Route 66. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is a sleeper. From the road it looks very rustic. But, everything you need is there. They even have a small store on location, a diner, and fuel is a very short distance away. The site we used (20) was so level we could have done without the levelers. The sites are really wide and each one includes a picnic table which would be really nice in warmer weather. (It was about 50 during the day and 27 at night when we were there.) This is the perfect place to stop on your way to the Grand Canyon or anytime you are in the area. We probably would have stayed a second night, but wanted to move on to miss the storm that was coming. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was our first night out, and we were just looking for a serviceable place but found a gem! Our German Shepherd LOVED the canine corrals. Nice, big, fenced, and lit dog runs that even had toys in them to chase. We visited 3 times in our very short overnight stay. The newish shower/bathroom combo rooms were just fabulous. Meticulously clean and laid out thoughtfully. The showers were great. There were nice folks when we checked in, too. This is a great overnight stop on I-40. Stopped for the night while traveling East from San Diego. This is a very nice and clean park. Easy access from I-40 with gas & diesel near by. The sites are wide and long, all sites are gravel. Park is dog friendly if you are a responsible dog owner. Owners are very helpful and friendly. They were having a free BBQ the day we check-in which was very nice. This campground is very easy in and out from the highway. The pull through site we had was large enough to accommodate us without unhitching our tow trailer. The weekly rate was exceptionally reasonable even with electric in addition to the rate. This campground claims to be dog friendly. I would say they tolerate dogs but are not particularly welcoming to the point that anyone with a dog: particularly nightly or weekly "guests" is suspected of wrong doing which I found a bit offensive. I do understand that some dog owners are not very responsible, but the fact that I own a dog (a large dog) does not automatically make me suspect for anyone's wrong doings. The owners are very involved in the maintenance and upkeep of this well kept park. The laundry facilities were immaculate although the soap machines were empty. Because of the lack of welcoming feeling to dog owners, we would probably pass this one up if we were in the area again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great park, only downside was the sites are pea stone, and they get into your shoes real easy. We came in without a reservation, and they did not have a site, let us dry camp in the large parking lot near checkin with our slides out. Then we got a site for 4 more nights. We were just passing through and this was a layover night for us. The park is some distance outside of Kingman and situated in a fairly scenic location, although it is fairly close to the freeway and a truck stop. The park has nice desert landscaping and was very clean. This would be a good place to stay if you are into horses as they are also a "horse motel". I thought the fully fenced off-leash area for dogs was a thoughtful amenity. My only complaint is that the site we were in sloped from front to back and we had some difficulty getting level. This is a very nice campground and a great place to stay if you need a stopover on I-40. The pull-through sites are huge and the entire place is immaculately maintained. Kudos to the folks who were running the place when we were here: a very nice couple from Port Angeles, Washington State. I stayed here for 2 months, had numerious electrical outages, water supply had low pressure, park was clean, but sits 13 miles from Kingman, fuel and dining in truck stop next to park, but fuel prices much higher than fuel prices in Kingman. Park has mail boxes, but I do not recommend anyone use them, had severe losses of mail. US post office in Kingman had no explanation of lost mail, so one can only assume why it was lost between post office and RV park, I do not recommend this park, pricing was deceptive, charges extra fee's for more than two people, at $2.00 a day. Will never stay at this location again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here 4 days. This is a nice park. The roads are paved and wide. The sites are pea gravel and are very clean. Water pressure is a little low if you want to take a shower. Electric runs a little low, when using the A/C, but we had no problem. The laundry is great, the restrooms and showers are great. For those who have horses, they have a seperate area to house your horses. There are workampers who are very nice. There is a Petro truck stop between the campground and I-40. No big problem with truck or highway noise. Wi-Fi works and is fast, however I kept being dropped out. Had to keep reconnecting while using it. I ended up using my Sprint Air Card at 1x to read and send email. I use Outlook and their server will not pass my email. Overall this is a great campground and the only compalint is the Wi-Fi not being stable. They give a discount of 10% for Goodsam and 15% for Escapees. We would definitely stay here for a day or a week or more if we were passing this way. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I do not know why Trailer Life Directory only rated this park a seven on appearance. It is a very attractive, well maintained park conveniently located off of I40. Folks were very pleasant and welcomed pets as long as you followed the very reasonable park rules. They had two nice dogs runs, too. The level graveled sites were very spacious with a tree, picnic table, full hookups, and cable. WiFi was free and there was good signal throughout the park. They had a nicely stocked store and movie videos to rent. There were long-term folks here but they had nice rigs and very neat sites. No rift-raft. This was also a horse motel. This was a good location for one night or a few nights if you wanted to check the area out. There are some nice natural areas to hike in. I would definitely recommend this very lovely and reasonably price RV park and would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I would have rated this a 10 if not for the diesel truck noise mentioned by the previous reviewer. The grounds are beautiful landscaped and maintained and the sites will accommodate the largest rigs. There are stables for horses and even two fenced in areas for dogs to play in, complete with a bench for their owners. The facilities are nicely maintained and equipped. This is a wonderful park! Very nice, spacious, clean sites with mature trees and extremely clean facilities. The bathrooms/showers were extremely clean and comfortable, although not close to the actual RV sites. They had more washers/dryers than we've ever seen anywhere. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Our dog enjoyed the dog corral where she could run around safely off-leash. They even have a space for horses (it's also a "horse hotel"). The well stocked store had perishables and all the RV incidentals, including video tapes and DVDs for rent. Coffee offered in the mornings in front of the koi pond was extremely pleasant. AND they're only a block away from various RV services (RV wash, tires, service, etc., there's a big truck stop) and a good restaurant. When we return to Kingman, Blake Ranch will be the FIRST place we'll stop. We would strongly recommend Blake Ranch to anyone. P.S. They're continuing to make improvements too! We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice, clean, friendly park that is also a horse motel! It has a nice store, easy to get propane, and a new laundry. The roads were wide and easy to navigate. Lots of places to hitch up. Easy to get on and off I-40 and behind a Petro so it's close to get gas and grab a bite to eat. About 15 miles south of Kingman. They have Wifi for $4.95 a day (Flying J service) and that will be the only way you can get on the internet. It seems Kingman is all blocked out for Earthlink or AOL users by the local telephone company. So while this park offers a phone line on site I didn't see any reason to get it. The owners were very upfront about the problem and said unless we had a local access number with the phone, you can't get online. So I asked if Verizon cell phones worked here and he said, "No." It appears other cells work but not Verizon. The price was very reasonabe and they honored our Escapees card for the reduced rate. I'd sure consider staying here for a stopver but not long term because of the online difficulty and the non-working cell phone situation. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I found this campground through the Kingman Visitor Bureau. No website. Called to make reservations (none taken). OK for overnight stay, but dusty, lots of permanent residents, and close to busy street. Has a nice-looking pool, but found out (too late after a hot drive) that it closes at 6:00 PM! Price was OK and close to where we wanted to be and near a big shopping area, but would probably not stay there again. This park is just off I-40 in Kingman so you hear some road noise. The sites are wide and plenty long for a big rig. My satellite Internet and TV both worked fine. Very good water pressure. Fort Beale RV Park is a great place to spend a few days as we did as we were traveling between Tucson and Las Vegas. The park has very easy access right off I-40. The office staff was quite delightful. Our spot was quite wide and long enough for our 45 feet of RV, motorcycle, and tow. There were some nice evergreen trees on the sites but easy access for satellite with nothing in the way. Everything considered this is a great park and a welcome site after driving 300 miles north from Tucson. I highly recommend and would like to stay here longer next time. This is a nice park in looks but that is all. The sites are not level from side to side or front to rear. The cable is very limited and half of that is out of order. The shade some have stated is a little tree about 10 ft tall at each site. The train is loud and runs most of the time. Seemed to have a fair amount of full time residents, which we are not crazy about, but they all seemed to keep their sites tidy. Very nice, small RV park on the west side of town. It is close to the highway but not very noisy. There is a train that runs through town and you can hear it at night in the distance. Very well taken care of little park. Large roomy sites, long and wide. Very clean toilets and showers. Nice little swimming pool. When AC at night not necessary: lots of noise, especially from passing and whistling trains. They blow their whistles a lot, day and night. Then, the traffic sound of the I 40 is one block away. Good Wi-Fi and free. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park that is exceptionally clean. The sites are a good size. We stayed here for three nights on the way south. Kingman is a great spot to visit. The Route 66 Museum is well worth the visit. A great stopover for a few days! Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Stopped here on the way to Apache Junction. Very nice park, clean, well taken care of. The sites were all raked and free of any litter. Only drawback was the constant train whistles during the night. Staff friendly and helpful We camped here in a Motorhome.

I agree with the comments of the previous reviewers. This is a nice little park very convenient to the interstate and downtown Kingman. The lady in the office was very friendly and helpful both on the phone and when we checked in. There is a Carls Jr. and a nice sit-down restaurant within walking distance. The road that loops through the park is not real wide; we had no problems with our 38-footer, but bigger rigs with toads may have to do some careful maneuvering. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very clean neat park with nice wide sites. The trains are loud, but nearby I-40 is not. The wi-fi is very good, but the cable is meager (we used the antenna). The dog run seemed smaller than our motorhome. Still a good stop. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice and clean and well manicured. The sites are wide with several pull through sites. The park is right off the interstate but far enough away so that you cannot hear any highway noise. There is some train noise that you might hear at around 4 a.m. The sites are level with nice hook-ups. Nice club house and pool area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Kingman is our regular first-night-out stop as we leave California; we have stayed at the other park a handful of times. So, this time we decided to branch out, based on reviews on this site. This park is, indeed, very clean: gravel raked within an inch of its life, pool clean, restrooms clean (didn't use laundry room, but we checked it out, very nice). And there are indeed some "mature" (but not very tall) trees for shade when the western sun is setting. But that's it. Kind of expensive when there is still intense railroad noise. (Didn't hear highway noise because it was 100 degrees and the windows were shut, but those train horns come through just fine.) No Good Sam or AAA discounts any longer; we did not find $31 of value. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very clean. Wish we had more time to stay and play in the pool! Manager was incredibly sweet, friendly, and very accommodating!! Great location, Drove up to the skywalk and location was perfect to hop right back on highway. Occasional train passing was hardly noticeable to us! We would come back. They were already cleaning sites with nice rake marks on the gravel to keep it pristine for the next guest! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

What a pleasant surprise to arrive at Fort Beale RV in Kingman. This park is clean and neat and obviously the pride of ownership shows. The sites are raked gravel, the road through the park is paved. The laundry, restrooms and showers are coded access and impeccable clean. The owner is all business when business needs to be done, but when business is completed she is very friendly and helpful. This is a great RV experience. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Great RV park in Kingman. Wife and I stayed here and thought it was a nice, quiet place to stay and still close enough to downtown Kingman. Had very clean laundry, shower and restroom facilities. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall had a great stay here and would recommend it to anyone passing through or staying in Kingman! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Traveled from Phoenix to see this park after reading previous reviews. The park is the best I have stayed in, and plan on staying the month of February and maybe beyond. Owners on site are friendly and helpful. The noise from the trains and freeway are not a big issue. A clean and well maintained park in a great location to Kingman and surrounding area. This small, convenient park was the most immaculate we've ever seen. As we easily parked on the raked gravel (as in zen-garden raked!), it was easy to understand why there were only 3 available spots. The rest rooms, pool area, laundry and lounge were all in amazing condition. Clean, clean, clean! I'm not a germ-phoebe, but if I was, I'd be super-happy here. Kudos to the management. Nearby is a quiet residential neighborhood for walks and a Carl's Jr. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is, in my opinion the best place to stay in the Kingman area. The sites are long pull throughs but shade is from a few desert pine trees. Our site, #40 was too far away to get the campground's Wi-Fi, but other websites are available. We would come back again, but a reservation should be made, they fill up by 3-4 pm. A nice clean park. Wi-Fi was okay. Sites were not level but with a 3 in board under the wheel it worked ok. No shade at my site (35) except one small tree on one side, but it was only 84 outside with a strong wind so it was okay. Check in was friendly and have not seen a cleaner bathroom and showers. Would stay again if traveling through Kingman. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Clean, Clean Clean ! Friendly, Friendly, Friendly ! Stayed here as an overnighter from Lake Powell to California. Super friendly staff, and gave directions to local eateries. Pool was small, but got the job done in the Arizona heat. Park has little scenery, but is very well kept and very clean. Gravel sites are raked daily. Full hook ups at every site. The park is looped and worked out well for kids and bikes. Bathrooms and showers were near immaculate. Has cable, but we didn't use it. The Wi-Fi could have been a little stronger, but got the job done. The park is 2/3 back in and 1/3 pull through. We have a crew cab long bed truck, with a 26' trailer. Anything longer would be a little dicey to maneuver in the park, but could be done. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

There was some noise from the interstate, but the park location at the junction of I-40 and highway 68 was convenient for side trips. We stayed for a week and would stop here again. Excellent park. Well run and very very clean. Office staff very friendly. Quite a few long term residence but they we no problem. Spoke with a couple of them and they were very friendly and offered suggestions on things to see and do in the area. But we did not take them up on their suggestions as we were just passing through. But if back in this area in the future this is definitely a place we would stay. All of the drive through sites had been raked and looked like they had never been park in. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Wow, this is a very well kept park. I felt bad pulling into the perfectly manicured gravel space. The folks are incredibly friendly and helpful. As was noted in a previous review, there can be some train noise even though the tracks are a mile away. It depends on how the wind is blowing but I love trains anyway. I was in Space 11 and despite a previous review, the Verizon 3G card never worked here but the cellphone did. However the park Wi-Fi actually works very well so the lack of Verizon 3G was not an issue. It's right near old RTE 66 and it's worth a couple of day trips in the Toad to see some of the "Mother Road," 60 miles in each direction. You will be taken back in time! This is a great park and I will go back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a well maintained RV park. Get there early as most of the sites are taken by long term residents. There were only 5 available sites the 2 nights we stayed there. The cable TV had a good signal and there were plenty of channels. The laundry was clean and there were an adequate number of washers and dryers for the size of the RV park. We would stay here again. We stayed here one night. The manager was very nice, but one of our dogs was ill and I tried to find a veterinarian close by. I was told there wasn't one in Kingman. After many calls, I found there was. It would have been helpful if the manager had a list of services, such as a veterinarian. Many campers bring their pets. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a good RV park to stay at if you want to do things close to town. You do have freeway noise, and the trains, but it isn't hard to get used to. The spaces for overnight guests are nice wide pull throughs. The park is spotless, and was surprisingly full this time of year. We stay here whenever we pass through Kingman. A smaller park with only 42 sites but kept very clean. My wife and I only stayed for two nights and couldn't have been happier. The manager was very helpful and walked me to my site (very thoughtful), which was spacious with a little shade. This is a very well groomed park. Sites are gravel which had been recently raked. There are paved roads. Pull through sites are wide and easy to access. We were guided to our site. The check in staff was friendly. Restrooms and showers were spotless There are long term residents, but their sites appear neat and uncluttered. There is excellent free Wi-Fi and limited cable. Will score a 7 because the price was good. The park is OK overall, we knew coming in that it was small so we made a reservation. Ellen was very friendly and led us to our spot. The pull-through site was decent sized, but the turn getting into it is tight. We have a 42' and it just did make the turn. The perimeter row is pretty close to the middle row, so you don't have alot of room to maneuver. Once in the site, we had to park right in the middle due to trees on both sides, would not have been able to put the bedroom slide out on the road side had we aligned on the left side of the spot. Oh well, we fit and it worked out OK. Good power and good water pressure, didn't use the cable so can't say about that. The dog run is fenced so you can let the pups off the leash. The WiFi is almost not worth using (at least for the night we were there). It was as sporadic as I have ever seen, I ended up switching it off and using the Cingular card. We did not use the pool, restrooms, or laundry. There are a majority of long-term residents here. This is one time where I would have been well in favor of a fence or some shrubs in between the sites, the guy next to us parked his truck about 3 feet from our motorhome (and that was even with us being centered in the site instead of aligned with the left-hand side. Can only imagine how close he would have been otherwise). We stayed one night passing through. I would probably try a different park in town if passing through again, this place is fine for smaller vehicles but is just too small for the big rigs. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park would have received a 10. It's nice and clean, has a great laundry room and friendly staff. Pool looked great but had leaves floating in in it. It gets a 9 because website says directs you to the JCT of 93 and 40, but the park is not visible at all from the hwy or exits. I had to call for directions. And the big reason for a 9. They had plenty of sites available, but put us right in front of the office with all the traffic, etc. And right outside the office door, a set of those annoying bamboo wind chimes. I have yet to understand why anyone with an RV would hang those annoying things within 5 feet of another rig, but the office should know better. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I don't give out a 10 but this comes as close as I can! It is spotless and wonderful sites. And great people. We did not hear hardly any highway and no train noise. Have used this for an over night many times and would come back again for sure. It should be noted that you most likely need a reservation - only a few sites. Seems a new mine opening up, a new hospital and Chrysler taking over a Ford proving ground has given them nearly 100% resident customers. But not an issue by an means. This is a great park with extra large sites and a really nice staff. The utilities are strong and the wifi is excellent although the office did have to reboot the router regularly. They could use a better router. I would give it a 10 except that there is some noise. There are a lot of trains that run close to the park 24 hours a day and they do blow their horns a lot. There is also some road noise if you are parked in the upper part of the park close to I40. It's still the best park in Kingman, though.. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We usually stay at this park when going through Kingman, AZ. New owners took over at the beginning of the year, they did a lot of upgrades such as the wi-fi, more cable channels, and repaved. Also had new managers, that now guide you into your site which is nice when you're pulling in at night. I would definitely stay here when traveling through Kingman Arizona. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stay here each time we come through Kingman. The campground has changed ownership, but it continues to be super clean and is well run. You are escorted to you site now, which is new. It has a nice pool, and the laundry room is open 24/7. There is a train track nearby, so if you don't mind hearing an occasional train it's fine. There is some traffic noise as it is downtown, but the location is good if you want to be near town or have some business here. We will continue to stay here when we come through Kingman. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We are concluding the winter here. It is by far the best park in Kingman area for long term or overnight camping. We worked here in Kingman, and it is ideal for such a situation. It is kept very clean and is quite convenient to I-40 and Hwy's 66 & 93. The perimeter spaces are rented to monthlies, while interior spaces are for the in&outs. The spaces are quite adequate, space-wise, and the park management is excellent. We did not find the noise of I-40 or of the trains hard to sleep by at all. And, within a couple of minutes, one can access the BLM/Kingman trail system, newly developed, with trail biking and hiking opportunities. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is not a destination campground. The staff was very nice, and everything was clean and well maintained. Most of the sites are long term, but they maintain 16 pull-through sites for over-nighters. Easy to get in and out of without having to unhook the tow-behind. Close to Interstate 15, but noise was not aweful. Good park to spend a night in on the way to your destination. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Just got back from spending 3 nights here with my family (including a 12y/o and 6/y/o). The bathrooms and showers are so clean and nice it was almost a shame to use them. Management went out of their way to make people feel comfortable and safe. Even though this park is off I-40, I did not not notice the interstate noise (the noise retaining wall does work well.) The train is far enough that horn is just plain relaxinzzzzzz. This park is so nice, that I won't even consider another park in the Kingman area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We traveled a few extra miles on our way to Vegas to get our "Good Sam" discount, and were so glad we did. A lovely site with beautiful surroundings, very quiet and some great trails around the camp. A really helpful and friendly manager despite us turning up after closing. The facilities are excellent with a great lounge area full of games, books, and films. There has been a lot of work put into making this a welcoming site and we would have stayed much longer if we had the time - I would definitely return. One of our best stops in our 2 month travels. This is a very basic park with few amenities and only a modest attempt at landscaping. Free WiFi and TV is provided, but nothing else. The owners checked us in and then disappeared before mentioning that you need a key for the women's restroom, (the men's is closed long-term) so we had no restroom/shower facilities. Not much to recommend the place. The owners are elderly and sick so I doubt the park will be here much longer unless someone buys it and keeps it open. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is adequate for a night stopover but it is basically a gravel parking lot. The couple who run it were having problems when we were there. We are assuming she usually looks after the office as he was completely lost looking after us getting in and settled and kept saying she looks after this usually but she has heart issues right now. Easy access from Highway 93 and was surprised how quiet, doesn't get much road noise even though it's close to the highway. It's a great find so we'll book to stay here again. We liked the jerky at the store there. The rate was very good and we felt like we got our money's worth. Nothing fancy, just a clean little park with nice people. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Stayed two nights in a full hook-up, pull through site, which was gravel, level, very clean, with trees in between sites and oleander bushes on the other side. The site had a picnic table, but not fire pit or charcoal grill area. We were next to the rec hall, bathrooms and pool area, all of which were clean and well kept. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when we arrived in the dark. We were escorted to our site and the staff checked on us a couple of times as we set up. The campground was very quiet, with minimal noise from the trains about a mile away. The pet area was adequate, though it was just gravel and no grass. We were led to our FHU pull-through site. Very pleasant and efficient office staff and well stocked store. It was very hot here, but they’ve made great efforts to provide watering for nice small trees by the site. The WiFi was good and the water pressure and electric were fine. The pool was nice. Quiet RV park about 2 miles off I-40. Level, gravel sites, some shade, cable TV, Wi-Fi worked great. Friendly staff led me to my site. That's right $50 bucks for run of he mill KOA dust bowl. Would have stayed at Fort Beal across town as it is nice and clean, (no dust) but it was just to small to run our multiple dogs. Don't know what else is around here, but there is no way I could recommend this place at any dollar figure exceeding $20 a night.tight spaces, had to maneuver around to get the slide outs out. Easy highway access, pretty tight park as far as moving around, the train noise is quite loud and they tell you right away that the internet connection is not good and IT IS NOT. Staff is not overly friendly but they get you into the park and answer your questions. Small gated pet area. While looking around Kingman it is the nicest park in the area, but would recommend passing Kingman and heading to Needles if is in route. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was not a planned stay, but due to a blowout of my rear driver tire we could not make it to our intended stop in Williams, AZ. Kingman KOA was very friendly, clean and very pet friendly. At first glance, the park looks confining and narrow, but really isn't and very maneuverable. They seem to get a lot of tent and cabin overnight people. Trees and bushes separate the pull-throughs and we had no problem with after hour noise. It is located in odd place, a residential neighborhood, but really not an issue. We would stay here again. We do not stay at KOAs very often, because they are frequently overpriced and somewhat shabby. But we called ahead and reserved here because we wanted to be near some shopping in Kingman, not outside town at Blake. This place has a very off-the-beaten-track location, as it turns out, and has the traditional shabby look of a KOA, but friendly people in the office, which is also typical of a KOA. The site was very narrow and very unappealing. However, as this was the last night of our trip, we figured, "Who cares? We just want a quiet night's rest." Well, that is what we did not get, and this is the only night I can remember in years of motorhoming that we did not get a quiet night. The people next door played loud music, with a strong bass component (irritating to many ears). I finally called the office number after quiet hour had come and gone, but had to leave a message. My husband finally got dressed and went out and asked them to turn the music down. They did. To any motorhomers looking for quiet after a day on the road, find a place that will enforce the quiet hours, not just list them on the rules. The chances are there will be no violators, but if there are, and there is no enforcement, you are going to be frustrated. This is the only review I have written on RV Park Reviews, that I can remember, but we refer to the ratings here very, very often. I have never before been moved to complain about a place. The Kingman KOA is the one that got me going! We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is well off the Freeway in a residential neighborhood, but easy to get to. Wide driveways, and long sites. A little overpriced for such an old Park. This is a very nice KOA located in a residential neighborhood. The sites are level and gravel. They are surrounded by large oleander bushes, and there is a tall shade tree at each site. The cable TV and wi-fi work great. The folks in the office are very nice. June is very hot in this part of Arizona so it is pretty quiet here. Kingman is a small city of about 50,000 including surrounding towns. There are plenty of stores and restaurants close by. All in all made a great two day stop on our way to San Francisco. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Price reflects no discount: however they will discount if you have their KOA card. We were escorted to a well-groomed, dead-level, full hookup, pull-through site that was wide enough and long enough for our rig and tow car without unhooking. Park signage is minimal at best: however Trailer Life directions got us in without a problem. The park has beautiful tall trees and they have made good use of lush, blooming oleander as privacy hedges between the sites. Satellite TV, Verizon air-card and cell phone all performed strongly. The location and no-fuss friendly office makes this park perfect for our overnighter needs when traveling I-40. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Tall trees at most sites. Pool was nice with some shade to sit in if you weren't swimming and wanted to get out of the sun. Wifi didn't work at our site, we had to walk to the office to get a good signal. Ice cream social every evening - root beer floats or ice cream sundaes. Had stayed here back in 2005 and was not excited but this time the huge bushes around the park were blooming, the grounds were raked very well. Each space is divided by these bushes too giving privacy. They could use a lot more gravel over that dusty red clay soil, but it is the wild, wild west! Staff was gracious and friendly. This was a nice KOA. The staff was friendly and very helpful when we needed directions. Sites were gravel, long, and level, but just a little close together. Bushes and trees between the sites gave some privacy, but then you had to watch out for them when opening slides. Each site had a table and grill. Some sites were side by side. There were a large number of cable TV channels, and the free Wi-Fi worked fine. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Stayed here driving through, late check-in was handled well. Site was clean and level. Showers and bathrooms were clean although I wasn't crazy about the push-button water access. Walked over to check out pool and it looked clean, Wi-fi worked fine from our site. Office very friendly and helpful. Kind of had a hard time finding park, I missed a turn that had a very small street sign so be vigilant. Only thing I wasn't too crazy about, the common areas for two sites faced each other which compromised privacy, but since we only stayed the night it was not a factor, would not have liked that set-up for a multi-day stay. Not sure why this park has gotten some bad reviews. I found it to be one of the better KOAs. There were privacy bushes between most sites, nice landscaping and activity areas, and good wifi and cable. Restrooms/showers were clean and well-maintained. Staff was courteous and competent. We are travel nurses and it is very hard to find a park in the Kingman area that alows kids and pets. Every KOA that we have stayed at has been great except this one. They had plenty of monthly sites available, but they dont alow kids. Their excuse is that there is nothing for them to do. I wonder if the pool, mini golf, playground and everything else they have is only for "adults"? The owner was very rude and verbally short. I will never stay at this campground again. I hope that everyone reads this. I also called KOA in Montanna and lodged a formal complaint on this campground and the owners. Very horrible, another family had the same problem at the time we were here. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This place is not fancy or new, but the people were very friendly, restrooms clean, space level but kind of small, and a nice place for pets. This is an old KOA that is still in pretty good shape. It was $25 for a no sewer and very narrow site. The weather was to cold to use the pool but it looked OK. The dog run was huge and she could run free. We needed some repairs and the Chevy dealer treated us very good. They put us right in and had it done in a couple of hours. Mohave County Museum was well worth the time. The campground felt safe and fine for an overnight. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Old but well maintained campground. All gravel with plenty of oleander bushes between most sites. Only
really shady sites are the water/electric hookup sites. The full hookup sites have lots of trees and bushes, but they are parellel with the sun's path. Big rigs (60 plus feet) will do well to call ahead and request sites 59-64 if 50 amp service is needed. Even if that much power isn't needed, those sites are the widest and longest, making it easier to park. 50 amp power costs an extra $3.50 and will have to be unlocked by the site escort. This park is located away from the highways, airports, and other noise makers. Very quiet. A nice overnighter. Say hi to Earl, the night security guy, and his savage watch dog, Taffy. We camped here in a camper.

Park is very clean and has a very nice pool which is needed in a hot climate. The roads and sites are dirt or sand and freely blows in wind or if driving--need to gravel roads and sites. They do a good job of seperating the overnighters, long-term and permanent residents. Some of the sites are too narrow for slideouts, but office employees were helpful in finding an appropriate site. We camped here in a camper.

The showers were very nice - tiled walls with large sliding glass doors - and had plenty of hot water and were exceptionally clean. The location when viewed on a map looks like it might be noisy from the highway and trains, but it was quiet, probably because of a high cement block wall that blocks the noise. The reason I didn't give it a "10" was the sites are close together and other than the scattered pine trees there are no plants of any kind so it looks rather barren. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Best restrooms and showers we've ever been in but no hot water. It wasn't cold cold, but not really warm. It reminded me of camping years ago with not cold showers, but not warm. The site was level and ground hard. Site wasn't long enough to pull through and leave towed hooked up. The sewer was at the back of the site: barely had enough hose and it almost ran up hill. The site access was good but the leaving was on the city streets had to go around the block. Park roads themselves were fine. Didn't use their Internet. It was amazing quiet considering how close to the highway we were. Park was well maintained. The check in person can be difficult to understand because of her French accent. We stayed to visit the museums. The Bonelli house was the best. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Camp Club USA rate. Access directly off I-40 exit 53. The staff was super friendly and the CG is very clean. Paved roads with level gravel sites and 30 AMP, W/S, free Wi-Fi. Our Clear Cards pulled a good signal, better than CG Wi-Fi. Good Cell Phone coverage, no CTV & not much on-the-air TV. Several long term residents but quiet and a good place to stop. Getting back to I-40 is an easy right turn from the park, two blocks and a left turn back to Devine to avoid the median barrier. Traffic noise and trains were not an issue. Basically a pleasant stop and we would stop again if in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We wanted a site close to I-40 and did not find this park listed in our Trailer Life Campground program, but it showed up on our Streets & Map navigator. It is right off I-40 and although close to the highway/trail the noise was tolerable. We stayed only one night. The bathrooms and showers were immaculate, the park was clean and we felt safe. It had what we need for the night, 50 amp and Wi-Fi. Mostly long term campers, the back row is used for overnight rigs. The local park residents are very friendly. You can hear I-40 and passing trains but it didn't bother us. The right turn out of the park (needed to get back to I-40) was to difficult for our 40' rig with tow, so we had to go straight then turn right on Devine instead of left because island. This park is right off I-40 and very close to train tracks. This is a good overnight stop but there is a lot of highway and train noise. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a Walmart Super Center about 2 miles away and an excellent Chinese Buffet right down the street, ABC Chinese Buffet. There appear to be quite a few people living here but the park was clean and safe. This is the Camp Club USA rate. Wi-Fi worked well. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

After climbing the 6 % grade west of Kingman take exit 51 or 53 off I-40 to four lane Airway Ave., which leads to easy in and out for a big rig at Zuni. The park is in a commercial area convenient to most franchise, grocery, drug, or fuel stores that anyone could want. Registration is friendly and easy. Landscape is appropriate to the high desert. Pine trees, well trimmed, are between sites. Sites are wide, and there is good space between sites. There are permanents here in their own area. The pool was empty, we assume, because of the time of year. The roads are paved. The sites are near level graded from the packed sand desert soil. Cable TV had a maximum of channels. Wi-Fi was strong with no problem. The bathrooms, showers, and washers are at the main office on Airway Ave. The clean bathrooms have a code lock on the door. We like this park, but we give this park a 7 compared to the 10's where we have stayed. We have stayed here several times, and we will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Only reason we stayed in this park is because we had a breakdown and the Cummins repair place is only 2 blocks away. Preferred their parking lot (electric and water) but due to our extended stay, needed to dump. Zuni is mostly inhabited by residents living in older, rough looking rigs. Sites are level and graveled. Interior park roads are rough, pot holed asphalt. The restrooms/showers and laundry are very nice and spotless. The park is convenient to shopping, including a Walmart, and Route 66. HORRIBLE! Park is no better than a dusty gravel parking lot. Wi-Fi is only available either on the office porch or in the laundry room. Cell phones did not work, probably due to the big satellite dishes next door. In the midst of the park there are several banks of metal storage units. All-in-all, this place was a waste of money. Previous positive review misled us to stay here, much to our regret. Large woman manager with pierced tongue (not a winning combination) was not helpful, didn't bother to mention free Wi-Fi and how to access. (Note, it only works in the laundry room area.) Sewer hookup is atrocious: all the sewer caps in the pull through area, and all others that we could see, were in the very back of each long site and next to a tree. No way to use them without many feet of extra long sewer hose. Even the cap in the dump station was next to a pole. Cable TV had many stations but weak signal. Noisy side street but convenient location close to Smith's and Wal-Mart. We'll boon dock here next time. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice clean park with moderately shaded sites. They have all the same amenities, ambiance, and quality as the nearby KOA, which charges more. We travel through Kingman frequently and this is our campground of choice. Lots of shopping, gas, and easy freeway access [but not the freeway noise]. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
