Park is approximately 12 miles from Bisbee AZ. Although park has full hookups and 50 amp, it is a basic park and good for an overnight or a couple of days to visit Bisbee and surrounding attractions. Site gravel and somewhat level though our 38' motorhome did lean to one side a bit. No grassy areas and no picnic table/benches though site was a good size and some distance between permanents on each side of us. Very very quiet and isolated which we liked, though older park. No shops or market nearby so get stocked up before arriving. Closest Safeway about 30 minutes away. Owner is friendly and helped us pick out the site we wanted. He has owned it for 4 years and said he planted many trees but they aren't tall enough yet to provide much shade. Mostly permanents at the time of year we visited: August. Yes we would stay here again. Also we received high recommendations for a little restaurant in Bisbee called Rosa's Little Italy. Great home cooked Italian meals in an extremely ambient setting with wonderful, friendly staff. Loved it and will definitely go again. Warning: meal sizes are enormous. My appetizer was a meal in itself. Really watch your speed limits around Bisbee as local patrols keep a close watch. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A great place to camp or stay long term. VERY clean bathrooms and showers. Very friendly and helpfull. A clubhouse with coffee every morning, craft room, DVD room, BBQ area with picnic tables and also Super sites. For those that like it there is also a Trap Shooting range on site. We stayed for a week and had a great time. Very close to Bisbee but away from all the traffic and noise. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

If you are a birdwatcher, this is an amazing place. You enter over about 1.5 miles of dirt road, but our 32' Class A did fine, as long as we drove slowly. You just pull in and camp for free (signs make clear it's OK). There are pit toilets, picnic tables and thousands of wintering Sandhill Cranes - if you arrive before mid/late February. It was magical - and though we initially worried about being alone overnight "in the middle of nowhere," it turned out that there were several other campers there both nights. Highly recommended in the winter months. There is no charge for camping here, but I had to list $1 so the site would post it! We camped here in a Motorhome.
