Par for Quartzsite. Many parks close the office at noon post season. This one opens from 3 to 6 for the overnighters. Verizon LTE works well so didn't bother with parks Wi-Fi. We had two iPhones, an iPad, a MacBook and a Roku streaming device. All worked well on our Verizon Jet Pack. Great for an overnight. Would stay here during the big show in January if we decide to do that. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Typical Quartzite Park. Dirt. Overnight pull throughs were long so I did not have to disconnect. Wi-Fi available, Verizon Card strong. Noise from Hwy 10 noticeable at night. Full timers dogs tied up outside during daytime so it was noisy walking your own dogs. Close to freeway exits for an OK over night stop, About a mile from Worlds Biggest Swap Meet. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Gravel pull-through site with easy electric, sewer and water connections. Outstanding cactus garden. Very pet friendly park with good pet trail in wash. Very friendly office. Very good Wi-Fi but park was fairly quiet before the busy season. We camped here in a Motorhome.
On par with most parks in Quartzsite. We had a nice gravel pull through for the nite. Restrooms are old but well maintained. Car wash & oil change pit on site- nice. Wi-Fi was free & ours rocked. We would stay here over nite again some time. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We only stayed one night and thought this was a nice little park (can't expect too much when price is so reasonable) liked it much better than last place we stayed in Quartzsite. We would definitely stay here again and for a longer period. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
The park is between I-10 and the four lane Main street, but with my little white sound generator, no problem with traffic noise and sleeping at night and the rest of the time outside was never a problem. It's safe, clean and in the heart of everything "Quartsite". Laundry and clothes lines are available and they even have a free RV wash station and site for oil changes!! We camped here in a Motorhome.
When we checked in here for four nights the office staff was friendly but complained about the person that was supposed to show us to our spot. There was free Wi-Fi with Tengonet, but we only got it one day so far. We have 3 more days left that we had to pay for in advance. Tengonet isn't dependable at all. There is cable, and in two days was only out a few minutes so far. If we don't get internet in one more day we leave. there are a lot of full timers here. The showers have one toilet and one shower unless you go to the laundry area and then there are two showers. If you are in the ladies shower, don't say anything you don't want anyone in the men to hear because there are no ceilings and you can hear anything in the adjoining showers. We will NOT stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
12 new pull-through sites have been added since the last review. They are long enough for a 40' + motorhome with tow car. They are oriented so that the rear of your coach faces the afternoon sun. At the end of the row of new sites is a very clean laundry, restroom and shower building. not much doing during the Summer in Quartzsite so these sites will probably only be used for overnight stays as you pass through. We will stay here again if the end of the day finds us near here. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Actually stayed earlier this year and the prior 3 years, for a couple nights each stay. This year they only had one available site because an employee rented all spaces too early. But that one site was not long enough for my tow trailer. They did not know what do with my little 10' motorcycle trailer. So they recommended we call their sister park next door. That park said, "Can only can stay for 30 days or longer. Call December 1st 2011, and see if we have anything. But we fill up quick." Corporate needs to know what type of people they have on the phone and how they are dealing with people. Won't try this company's parks again! We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived late and the people could not have been nicer! Big Rig friendly and the location is convenient. We were glad to find this place after ending up checking out another RV Park in Quartzite, that reminded us of the Albert Hitchcock movie "Psycho". We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is definitely an older park with a lot of full time people living here. We had a pull-through site that was pretty level. I wouldn't stay here for any long length of time, but it's a good place if you're only stopping to enjoy the swap meet for a few days. It is within walking distance to one smaller area of the swapmeet and a short drive to where all the action is. Looking at the other campgrounds available in this area I don't think you're going to find any that are any nicer. I would stay here again if I desired to go to the swapmeet. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Older park with all the associated issues: narrow interior roads, tight corners and cramped sites. They've carved out a couple rows of overnighter, pull-through sites that are much longer and wider than those occupied by the longer-term residents. Pleasant front office was a delight after a long day on the road. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We were passing through so only stayed the one night. Office hours were only 9 am to Noon, these will probably increase as the busy season (winter) approaches. Self check in was cash only in an envelope (Good Sam) then go pick your site. Wide long pull-throughs, level gravel, cable TV, full hook ups. Make sure you get the Wi-Fi and Restroom codes on your campground map. About 1/4 mile from freeway, a little noise with the vents open. Restrooms were old, but very clean. No shade and dusty from the wind. OK for our over night stop. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Roads were paved and the sites were pea gravel and level. The lady at check in was nice and we were escorted to our site. The park is about 75% live in and from what I saw the place was well kept and clean. A lot of room to park and for slideouts. About one half mile from pilot and loves. We came in off season so it one of the few parks that are open. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Good Sam rate quoted. We were given a spot away from the freeway and heard no traffic noise. Cable TV worked well enough to see the Super Bowl. Steep incline when entering the park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Good place to overnight. Mostly park models in here but they keep a couple dozen pull through sites available for overnighters. Easy in and out and everything seemed to be clean and neat. All the utilities worked good. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This was a great place to stop while in Quartsize. Bathrooms/Showers were very nice. Seemed new. Escort to site and everyone was very nice. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is an OK park which we stayed two nights to explore Quartzite. Everything worked fine and is as advertised. I couldn't find any internet access, but didn't go to the office to ask and only tried my laptop's Wi-Fi system. It was very dusty when we were in town, which is a feature of Quartzite, I guess. If we were to return to Quartzite, we would stay here, but after viewing the baren landscape of Quartzite, I seriously doubt that we will return and just keep on trucking down IH-10 in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice park. Even though we didn't have extended reservations they were able to slide us in until our reservations in Brenda kicked in. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice stop over. Lot's of permanent sites. Most are clean & tidy. Pretty quiet & peaceful. Wi-Fi, very slow, did not use it, $6.00 per day, not worth it. Would stay again We camped here in a Motorhome.
Good overnight RV park. Clean and fairly quiet. Not much activity after the snowbirds leave. Gravel sites with dirt interior roads. Take time to visit their cactus gardens. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Not much here but the basics, but those basics are provided with grace and style. There are lots of permanent rigs, but enough empty sites to accommodate travelers. Very basic. No picnic tables at sites. One single-person restroom with shower. Immaculate. Very nice host and hostess. There is a laundry room and a library/sitting room in central building with that one restroom. Great for an overnight stop, or even longer, if your intention is to be out in Quartzsite during the season. If we're traveling through again, this would be our first choice. This place doesn't seem to be in Woodalls. I haven't a clue how I found it. I may have just picked it off Google Maps. I'm giving it a 7 rating, not because it has lots of features, but because it does exactly what is needed, with no issues or problems. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Great place for overnight stay. In the winter they have a lot of snowbirds. The sites are level and are fairly wide. No one is in the office; you can't call ahead, but there is a care taker that will help when you arrive. Full hookups, some pull-throughs, most back-in. They allow pets and at the back of park is a nice area for walking. We have stayed here before and will come back again! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Rate is based (kind of) on a monthly rate. We loved this park. We had a huge site. There are lots of friendly people with planned activities. Verizon and AT&T worked just fine. The location is perfect in the little town, and you can ride your ATVs directly from the park. It's very nice, and we would definitely return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Many seasonal/permanent residents here. Park is adjacent to BLM land. It is dusty and windy. Although the park is several blocks north of I-10, at times highway noise is loud. Don't be fooled by the rates. Weekly rate was $110, plus tax, plus electric at $0.23 per kwh. We had to leave a day early and there are no refunds for any reason, PLUS a $5 charge for reading the meter at 4 pm the day before we left because host doesn't come to work until 9 am. That made a total of $l46 for 6 days camping. To be fair, I did wash and dry one load of clothes in the RV and we ran the air conditioner about 6 hours one day. We will not be staying here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Campground is set up for long time residents but pull throughs are available for short term stays. Pretty dusty with no shade available and no vehicle washing facilities in Quartzite. Very little highway noise. Electricity is metered if staying for other than overnight at 22 cents per KWH. A laundry is available. Rate shown is for a weekly stay, daily rate is $23. There are a couple of high priced grocery stores in Quartzite, but nearest Walmart is 35 miles away in Parker. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We found this to be a nice campground: bare bones but clean rest rooms, a nice laundry and a lot of places to walk or bike. Large spaces and the camp hosts are very friendly and helpful. Several activities at the clubhouse, a book/puzzle exchange and nice residents living here. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We looked at all the parks in Quartzsite, and this was the nicest, in my opinion. Large sites, quiet neighbors, nice laundry. It's across the street from BLM land, where I could let the dog run. Excellent 50 amp power, even under a load. Pleasant office staff. Nothing fancy, just a well-maintained gravel park. It is a 55+ park with many seasonals. Every rig was well maintained, with no junk lying around. They have free WiFi in the clubhouse. The fee-based WiFi was not accessible from our site. Quartzsite has terrific Verizon EVDO data service, though. $21.94/night was the Escapees rate. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Clean park, friendly staff, seasonal rates, and mail service available. Quiet park with lots of group activities during the winter season. Only 7 pull throughs. Nice laundry facility, library and bathrooms. Full hookups. Wifi available through outside company, only worked until the park filled. (Then we were told the RV's blocked the signal) Large spaces plenty of room for multiple vehicles or storage units. Fairly level dirt lots, no landscaping. Cannot wash RV's on site. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a gravel parking lot with electric and water hook-ups. No sewer, no cable, and Wi-Fi only if you sit by the laundry room. There was hair in all of the showers. I mean a lot of hair. It looked like they had not been cleaned in quite some time. Not one thing special, and yet they charge as much as those with all the amenities. Oh, and they take cash or check only. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Your basic RV gravel park in the desert. Water was good, power was good, dump station was clean. I agree with the review below. Very nice people. They also had a nice Super Bowl party with chili dogs. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Rustic, but very friendly staff. Right on Business 10 in Quartzsite which is a town of about 5000 full time residents whose population swells to close to a million every January and February when they host a couple of big RV and Mineral shows. Most folks dry camp on BLM land, but if you are in the mood for something slightly more formal then B-10 is fine. Essentially it is an enormous expanse of gravel with a few cinder block buildings for showers, laundry, office etc. Sites in the "back" may offer sewer hookups, otherwise there is a dump on the facility. The staff is great-friendly and make free coffee daily. Campfires are permitted at your site, plus there are some community fire rings around. You are about a 2-3 minute drive to the "Big Tent" for the RV show. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Stayed at both the La Posa North and La Posa South LTVA's. This is desert boondocking in a gravel desert area. The north LTVA is close to the vendor area, while the south LTVA has the water and dump stations. The number of RV's here during the show weeks in late January is awesome, making it one of those, you have to do it at least once in your RV life type of happenings. The areas are so huge you can park in a crowd or go out to where you are pretty much by yourself as there are no defined sites, you just park wherever you want. Just be forewarned that there will be wind and there will be dust. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is the first year we have stayed here and actually liked it far better than the free BLM we stayed at in the past on the north end of town. One of my biggest gripes is dust, but remember where your at and with saying that if people will slow down, dust can be reduced by 50 percent. One of the things you can do is park in a rock query and the dust can almost be non existent and stay off the main road quiet a ways. We like it here and stay our 14 days for 40 dollars. We camped here in a Motorhome.
What a fun place to camp with friends and family. We were in Quartzsite for the RV show and have been coming for the last three years. There are no services except for you can get water and there is a dump station on the premises. It is dusty but you have to expect that in the desert. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
OMG another wonderful campground. Couldn't believe how much fun this is. Staying where there is so much action and costing so little. Having to move to dump was not big thing. Water in faucets clean and tastes good. Will come again at next Quartzite show. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We have spent from one to three months at a time here almost every year since we started fulltiming in 2002. We like camping out at the far edge of the LTVA, where our nearest neighbor is almost a quarter mile away even during the busiest time. The main gravel roads that wind through the LTVA are navigable by any size rig. During January, tens of THOUSANDS of RV show up in Quartzsite, so expect heavy traffic in town during that time. Each of the four La Posa areas has dumpsters, but fresh water and dump stations are only in La Posa South. As long as you have the LTVA permit displayed on your vehicle, you can park anywhere and still use the water and dump stations in La Posa South. I use a small blue boy for our gray water and have a honey wagon come out every couple weeks to pump the black tank. This year they raised their rates from $20 to $25, but they will come out to the remotest parts of the 11,400-acre LTVA. The closer you park to the highway, the dustier it will be. If you drive farther out in the desert, there is a lot more gravel than dust. It is often windy in Quartzsite, so keep that in mind. Tents and RVs that are not self-contained (defined as having at least a 10-gallon permanently mounted waste tank) can camp only within proximity to the few potable toilets there. There are also free BLM areas in the area. You can stay only two weeks in those areas, and there are no dumpsters, water, or sewer services in them. There are places in town to dump and fill for about $10. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Our favorite La Posa area is the La Posa North area with dry camping in the desert on BLM land just south of the Rice Ranch area in Quartzsite. There are no designated sites, and only a short section of the entrance road is paved. "Roads" are are actually tracks in the native material which is a mixture of rock and dirt. It is located on US-95 just south of Quartzsite and directly across from the La Posa West LTVA. This is a fee area, 14 days are $40.00 (2009-10 season), which can be renewed. There is also a 7 month rate which is $140 (2009-10 season). While there are dumpsters for garbage, you must either leave the La Posa North LTVA for water or to dump, driving to the La Posa South LTVA, which has both water and a dump station, or going into Quartzsite to the aptly named Pit Stop. There are also water and pump-out services that will come to you location within the LTVA if you prefer. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This report is on the BLM's dry camping area just South of Quartzsite, AZ. It is sometimes abbreviated as "La Posa LTVA". During the big RV and gem show in late January, many thousands of RVs converge on the city, creating traffic jams for those getting to and from the shows by road. The La Posa LTVA solves this problem, since you can walk to the shows from here. The LTVA is basically just a big area of brush and that has had some dirt roads carved into it over the years. The procedure for camping here is to arrive, purchase one of two types of permits, and then find a place that looks comfortable to camp. Then set up camp there. When finished, leave. It's that simple. There are no "lots" or "spot numbers" -- it's just open land. A Youtube or Google search will get you lots of pictures or movies of it. The permits are either for up-to-14-days or whole-season. The up-to-14 day permits are $40, regardless of how few nights you stay. The longer permits are $180 for up to 7 months. There are garbage bins, dump stations, a water station, and "vault toilets". Also, 3rd party trucks come around to pump you out if you like, and to sell propane. There are also numerous dump/fill stations in Quartzsite. We had a great time here, enjoying the RV show, rock show, local colorful personalities, and just the general "Wild West" feeling of the place. ATVs abound, but there was never any rowdiness of any kind. Indeed, perhaps due to the demographics. This is what you would call the "Old West", in terms of demographics. Will repeat. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Power quality was poor. Both high voltage and low voltage experienced. Park, and town, was full due to gem and mineral show and swap meet. Would not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We choose to stay here instead out at the BLM fee area. Park fills up with Snowbirds and we got here at the end of the season [Feb. 27] as most of the venders had left till next year. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is one of those Parks that is only for a quick overnight stay. They don't accept reservations. Office staff was semi-friendly. I'm sure during the Winter months they are full but our stay made me want to wash the RV off when we left. The laundry room floor was covered with dead grasshoppers, as were the machines. We were just too far from home to complete our journey that evening or we would never have stopped. I'll not say we would never stay here again but hopefully, we would not have to stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
If you are looking for amenities - go to a real campground. This is boondocking at its best. You are close to all of the Quartzsite activities but far enough out to circle the wagons and enjoy your family and friends. There is a BLM host near the east end of the road available for info. Lots of places to choose from. Be careful about parking where you have to cross a wash - there have been bad rains here in the past that have caused washouts and you may not get back out. Minimal tv reception but who cares. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stay here every year and keep coming back to the same spot. Plenty of room and close to town. TV reception is poor to say the least but if you have a satellite dish TV is not a problem. It's very quiet and no one ever bothers you. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
I had to rate this Bureau of Land Management free camping area. It is a beautiful place and there is something wonderful about dry camping once in a while. If you can do without gorging on electricity and water for a few days, this place is worth experiencing. Depending on the size of your RV, you may wish to choose a site earlier on the trail as the road eventually may have some dips and bumps that you might not to drag your 45 foot Newell or Prevost over. I can't wait to go back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed there during the annual RV Show the end of Jan and their location is actually in walking distance to the "Big RV Tent". Because we were staying only a few days during the RV Show the only sites available at that time were in the rear of the park. Unfortunately those sites back up to the I-10 freeway and are very loud at night. We did get moved later to the front which was much quieter and close to the spa which is a hot spring spa. Very soothing. The sites are gravel, level with full hookups and cable TV. However, no picnic tables or fire pits. They also offer a high pressure wash area to clean your coach or tow car. There also is a huge flea market in Quartzsite which is open all the time. Two or three days is plenty of time to take in what Quartzsite has to offer. The Quartzsite Yacht Club has a fish fry on Friday which is great, but get there a 5:00 or plan on a wait. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed at Holiday Palms for almost two months. We like the location, you can walk to Tyson Wells to visit the vendors via the wash. The park roads need to be paved, the dust is brutal. They continue to have water problems, several times during the time we were there the water was not available. The park host makes this the place to stay. He is friendly, helpful and always around in case you need something. Next time we go to Quartzsite we will look for an RV park that has paved roads. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We just stayed the night. Nice level pull-through space. Easy in and easy out. Cable TV worked fine and there is a close, convenient dog walk area. Good Sam discount. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
There is road noise, no pool, no grass, not great for dogs as there is nowhere to walk them. It is an older park, level lots with picnic tables. There is a water refill machine at .25 cents a gallon, laundry room, pool table, lending library including movies, activities, friendly residents and the wifi access is good. It is not a place I would stay again unless I just needed to sleep, do laundry and run. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Many of the folks here are long-term. Park sits on gravel/dirt, but the roads are treated to keep the dust to a minimum. Park sits on Main Street and is easily accessible to the local businesses and seasonal vendors. We stayed for a weekly rate of $190 that included electric in one of the "overnight" spaces near the front. Lots of amenities, clean showers, laundry, spa, clubhouse, books, cable TV, WiFi. Motorcycle and pet friendly. Nice place to stay. Staff was friendly. Will stay again if in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We came for all the swap meets we had heard about. Stayed for a month. We happened to pick the most expensive month of the year to stay. Location was good. Road in the park was very rough. Pot holes throughout the park. Talked to many travelers who were very friendly. Management was difficult to talk to or deal with. Had a problem with my power at my meter and was told to see the maintenance Manager. That didn't go well. He was very rude to say the least. Would not return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed here one night. It's a pretty well equipped campground though most of it is taken up by permanent residents. There really aren't that many transient spots. The transient sites are located near the entrance which is good as I-10 runs along the back side. The place is pretty dusty and might be ugly in the wind (but that kind of defines Quartzsite). The staff was competent, no check-in problems. The pull-through site I had was roomy and pretty much level. The hookups were good though I did notice a small voltage fluctuation in the morning, but not enough to be a problem. Probably an over abundance of hair dryers and coffee pots early in the day!! Not much to do in Quartzsite this time of year. I did notice other newer campgrounds around town. This one has been here for awhile. I'd stay here again if just passing through for a quick overnighter. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is far from a pet friendly campground! They give you a long list of "rules" and threaten you to throw you out if you disobey them. The dogs were NOT welcome here and I will never stay here again because of that. Most of the population live here year round and were not friendly people! There's other choices, don't stay here. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Rate is based on weekly stay. We stayed for two weeks. Large sites, easy pull-ins, too. Staff was pleasant, and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Wi-Fi worked decent, and TV was basic cable and not too bad. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
I found the park to be clean, well cared for and the managers are so helpful. We got in after dark and my RV blew a fuse for the running lights and tail lights so I couldn't see to back into my space. The manager showed up with help and guided me into the space as pretty as you please using only hand held flashlights. I want thank you for that help and the pleasant experience my wife and I had! I like the park so much that I am considering moving me 5th wheel to Holiday Palms full time. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this park for 2 weeks and found it very comfortable, the staff very nice and the showers/bath were always clean. The spa is great after a long day in the desert. Enjoy! We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

Found the park pretty easy off I-10. Good Sam rate $25. Park guide took me to our site and helped me back the rig in, then showed me the utilities and explained the site (where to park car etc) very helpful. Roads are gravel/dirt mix and tend to blow dust some when the wind blows. Park is on Main St and accessible to a lot that Quartzsite has to offer. On Wednesday night there was a music "Jam" session. Really enjoyed this. Would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a decent park for a overnight stay, but I would not want to be here any longer. Large overnight parking, and very large roads, made it easy to park our 40' motorhome and car. Located right on the strip in Quartzsite, close to all the flea markets. The downside is the dust, due to the unpaved roads and sites. We had to keep the windows closed in order to keep the interior clean. The on-site car wash was the best we have seen, and saved us $10 on a car wash. We would stay here again for a overnight. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The $25 rate was before Good Sam discount. They have a pressure washing station where I was able to wash my truck for no extra charge. One of the permanent residents washed my 32 foot 5th wheel for only $50. There is a very large hot tub located within the office/restroom/laundry building that is quite good. I gave this park a 10 because is is the best that this town has to offer which isn't much. Everything else I looked at were like parking lots. Holiday Palms RV park is the only park I would consider staying at if I ever had reason to find myself in Quartzsite. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed overnight in one of the pull through spaces reserved for overnighters (#6). Friendly staff, very clean campground. Caters to snowbirds, but as overnighters we were welcomed. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Spaces are at right angles to the road ways and very challenging to back the 5th wheel into. Luckily, their experienced staff were able to do the parking for us. Otherwise, we would have had to find another park. They have only recently allowed pets and some of the permanent residents were less than friendly while others were very accommodating (treats, etc.). So, just be aware. There is a fenced off-leash area in the West wash for the dogs. It is small but much better than nothing to really run a dog. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Really enjoyed staying in this park. Friends had to park their RV close to the highway so it was a little noisy but we didn't have the same problem because our space was a little further in. The staff was very helpful and friendly as were the short term renters. However, the long term residents specifically on the East side between Rows "D, E and F" were not happy that the park now allows pets, and were particularly nasty to everyone walking their dogs. Beware if you are a pet owner and venture anywhere near them. You will certainly be berated even if you are walking down the middle of the road any time of the day. These people should realize (long term residents) that if it wasn't for us short term renters paying the higher cost, they would certainly be paying a much higher yearly rate. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Good Sam park. Generally agree with other reviews. Lots of freeway noise. Cable TV had several channels with fuzzy sound. We would go there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is without a doubt the best RV Park in town. We spent 2 days exploring the town of Quartsite and concluded that this is the only acceptable RV Park with full hookups, Cable TV and Wi-Fi. There are lots of other RV Parks/hook-ups located in every direction, but all were dusty/dirty and had disreputable look about them. The Cable TV had 17 channels and the signal was good. The Wi-Fi was very slow. The laundry facilities were good, but would be very busy during the winter season as there were only about 6 or 8 washers and dryers for a very large RV Park. There are no acceptable grocery stores anywhere in the town. For food there are numerous fast food kiosks and 1 McDonald's and 1 Burger King. The truck stops, Loves/Pilot, offer food. The so called food stores offered limited groceries and produce. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Kofa Mountain RV Park in Quartzsite, Arizona is one of the few places to stay in Quartzsite and is not a resort by any stretch. However it is nice enough for a couple of days or more and the people that run it are very nice and accommodating. We arrived about 6pm in February 2013 and the office was closed but the maintenance man saw us drive in and immediately opened the office and checked us in. We asked for a pull-through which we received for $25 a night cash only deal. The streets are a bit narrow for a 40 foot coach with toad but clearly are maneuverable with a little care. The front entry gates are quite narrow for larger coaches so be careful coming in. Once you come through the entry gates the office is directly in front of you. Our site was gravel which is typical for this area. We had full hookups and relatively easy in and out. All in all the RV parks are limited in this area but we would stay here again since it met our short term needs. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We enjoyed our short stay in this small, adult park. Like most parks in Q, many seasonal residents in neat park models, and they're nice folks. New owner a year or so ago. Manager friendly and very helpful. All overnight sites are gravel. Excellent roads. Easy in/out. Activity center has TV and pool table and coffee and donuts in the a.m. Rate is Passport America. Will definitely return when in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
It was truly a pleasure to be in this Park. Some noise from traffic but didn't bother. Clean, clean, clean. WiFi worked extremely well. Fast and stable. Couldn't ask for better. Management was friendly, caring and efficient. Quartzsite is a City of RV Parks but this is truly one of the best in my opinion. This is a "no pets" Park. The rate quoted is the Passport America Rate. We would stay here again in a second. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a relatively small park with about half the sites occupied by park models. It's the only Passport America park in Quartzsite, and although the listing blacks out January and February, they quickly offered us the Passport rate during the last week of February. They guy in the office was very friendly, as were the residents in the club house. We had full services with a concrete pad and free Wi-Fi. We'd definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Stayed in a class C motor home. Paid $17 a night, with a Passport America discount. Has gravel pads for the RV and adjacent concrete pad for bench. No bench provided. Has WiFi available for a fee. Although did not charge me for the WiFi on my overnight stay. Place is very kept up and clean. Friendly office staff. RV hardware store adjacent to this RV park, is very handy. Restaurant about half a block away. Have been here before and will continue to stay at his park, for overnight stays. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Kofa National Wildlife Refuge sits off Highways 10 and 95 near Quartzsite. Excellent dry camping - not another soul there when we were there - we drove in off Highway 10. I understand the entrance off Highway 95 is the more popular and probably more crowded. Lots of cacti in a high desert landscape. Be careful of where you walk your dogs because of the cacti. Vehicles with low clearance could have problems on the gravel/dirt roads but we were fine in our 24' class C. You can camp anywhere within 100' of any road. Wilderness at its best. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great for overnight or seasonal, good rates/just off I-10 but not noisy. Large lots for slides or room for chairs for sunset watching. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the park & it works good! Nice game room with pool table- large screen TV and table & chairs for other games. Its is within walking distance to town, restaurants and churches. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Going to stay here in Quartzsite for 5 months. They have a great rate of $825 for the 5 months. They have 50/30 amp sites. No showers or washing machines at this time but in the future. Spaces are 30 feet wide by 50 feet long. Most width of spaces we have found here in Q. Will stay here again next year. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Park is under new ownership and management. A clubhouse is now offered with a 55" Direct TV set-up. Sites are gravel and level. Pull-throughs are available when park isn't full. Away from highway noise but close to I-10 entrance. The park is behind and within walking distance to "Sweet Darlings Restaurant" for those that have visited "Q" before. For those that have not, or want peace and quiet, give this park a try. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Good place to stay in Quartzsite, basic sites on gravel but clean. Away from freeway so its quieter than other RV parks here, cheap monthly rate. I will stop here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We were looking for a place to stay for the last 10 days of December and January. There are a lot of RV spaces available in Quartzsite this year, Pattie's had a great rate ($185 for the month), a superb rate compared to what some of the other places quoted us for a gravel pad with hook-ups. There are no restrooms or showers. The people are friendly, the sites are large enough, there is a laundromat and propane sales on site. Right across the street is the Quartzsite General Store and the Redbox. Bread, milk, fresh meat and movies are just a short walk away. The main sales area is about a 20 minute walk away. The Wi-Fi comes and goes at times, but is mostly there and it is strong enough to watch a video. As a place to park an RV with hook ups close to the Quartzsite "action"; Pattie's RV Park has what's needed. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed monthly. The first month was $225, then it went down to $175 with electricity at 19 cents kwh. The park is probably half long term and half transit. We had no complaints about the park except for the water pressure would vary from low to high. The Wi-Fi was excellent: never had a problem with reception or staying on. There is a laundry in the front of the park, but is also open to people outside the park. Everyone was nice from the manager to the residents, including long term folks. If we ever go back to Quartzsite, we would be open to staying here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice park. It is crawling in the winter with snow birds but in May the place is deserted. Very nice and newer park. Facilities are top notch. We came through here in winter 2013 and had fun chatting with all the Canadians. We had the place to ourselves this time of year. Very nice place off the main highway for an overnite or longer. I'll come back here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This park (and the whole area) is acceptable for a stopover or a few nights at best but I wonder how people can spend a whole winter here. Our rate included a Good Sam discount. The sites are level and easy to back in but there is no privacy, no picnic table, no fire pit, no nothing. Hookups were perfect. Though we had a site right at the office, Wi-Fi was a joke. Even using an antenna booster, connecting was impossible. Bring a hotspot or go inside the office or common room. The whole park is gravel, a few Saguaros here and there. We would stay again for a stopover but not for longer. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This was clean and easy to find with large sites, good clean power and decent water pressure. We stayed out of season and found it quiet and relaxing. The people were friendly and we would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a nice park. Gravel sites concrete patios and good space between. The Work Campers here are very nice and helpful. About a mile off the freeway. The only thing wrong is that you have to go to the clubhouse for WiFi. This park has been in business for a number of years and they could have upgraded there WiFi system or at least tell you on the web site that you can"t get service at your site. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Wi-Fi was spotty, but excellent in the clubhouse. No swimming pool and the showers cost 25 cents per 2 min/1st 30 seconds is cold unless someone has used it before you! Park is clean, people are friendly would stay there again. Stayed 2 months at $300/mo. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park was great for being in Quartzsite in Jan. when the RV show is in town. It is close enough to the tent, yet far enough away to be out of the crowds. The park was full and very busy. Many seasonal campers with dirt bikes, ATVs, etc. Everyone was friendly. The driveways are asphalt ,and the spots are gravel, so the dust is less. The laundry room was large, lots of machines and clean. We were parked far from the main building so the wi-fi signal just was not strong enough. Had to go to the club room to use the wi-fi and that worked great. No cable. We used portable satellite dish. Many guests had very tall antennas that picked up stations from Phoenix. They have a restriction on the size of dogs. Must be under 35 lbs. They had a small fenced dog yard. If in Quartzsite again, I'd stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Great Park. Large clean sites. Close to Quartzsite shows. Easy to maneuver a big rig. Highly recommended. Nice friendly staff. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is our second year to stay in Quail Run RV Park. The new management is great. They have scheduled entertainment in the club room and improved the Wi-Fi. They are very easy to deal with and a great asset to this park. Quail Run RV Park is well laid out and easy for big rigs to get around in. The sites are very large and the hookups are industrial strength. We will be staying here next year. This is the best place to stay in Quartzsite. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The other places we saw around Quartzsite didn't compare to Quali Run. We used this as an overnight on the way to Tucson. The snowbirds had not arrived yet so there were not many people and rigs. This is off the beaten track, but that is good because many others are right next to the freeway. Good place. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We wanted hookups and laundry for this stay, while we scouted out boon docking sites on BLM land. This park is very clean and friendly. It was only about 10% full and it was nice that sites were assigned well separated from other campers during low occupancy. Parks Wi-Fi worked well with only a few rigs using it. This park looked a lot "nicer" than other parks in town. It is a good option in Q. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Looked at the other parks in Quartzsite and this is the best one. Park is only 4 years old with the remodel and it shows. Everything on the sites is in excellent condition. Managers are very helpful and the park is very clean! No trash or dog waste to be found. No trees to speak of but this is the desert and to be expected. Big clubhouse with big screen TV and pool table. Managers tell me activities are planned for the winter season. Wi-Fi is free in the clubhouse. Will stay here again next winter. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Well, it's clean and the gravel sites are level. Each site has a small concrete patio in good condition. But there is no privacy between sites, no cable, dogs are limited to 25 pounds, no outside fires are allowed, there's no table, and there's not an inconsiderable amount of road noise. The real kicker, though, is that the advertised wi-fi is available only if your site is in the two rows closest to the clubhouse. Honest to Pete! Nobody tells you this until your RV is leveled, water, sewer, and electric are connected, sliders are out, and your privacy curtain is up. Oh, and after you call the office five times because the phone doesn't get answered. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Quiet, level gravel sites. There is no shade but the staff was friendly and helpful. This was just an overnight stay but we were happy in our choice to stay here. We camped here in a Motorhome.
What a difference new management makes. We have been staying here for the past two months and during that time the management has changed. What a difference!! New staff want to help and make your stay a good one. Their daily rate is $30 with a monthly rate of $300 plus electricity. Wide spaces with paved main roads and good power. Free Wi-Fi too. This has to be the best park in Quartzsite and it shows. Will stay here again when in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park is very nice, clean and quiet, very reasonable rates $350.00 for a month plus electricity. The only thing that was bad was the management. They are VERY RUDE, more so the man. I tried to ask about my electricity reading that I was just curious. He told me no one was keeping me here, I could leave anytime. This man was an a**. I would stay here again, if they get NEW management. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is probably the nicest park in Quartzsite. Clean and large spaces. The laundry and facilities are new. We would stay here again. Rate based on weekly stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This park is away from all the noise and traffic in Q. Not any fancy amenities but recently remodeled and well done. Very wide level graveled sites. Nice utility stations. Small clubhouse with no activities. Staff of 2 with "HE" being a little rude. But we got along well. The Wi-Fi is horrible! We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Excellent recent renovation. Asphalt roads, packed gravel large lots, clean, upgraded docking stations for water-sewer-electric. The current senior manager and her senior parking assistant lack customer friendly people skills. Get through that registration and parking sequence and you'll probably enjoy the stay. Expect daily questioning from senior parking assistant about whether you picked up after your pet today. Every one gets the same question routine daily, pet owner or not. I rated it a 5 based on a lack of management customer friendly people skills. Some RVers arrived to try to register when the park was full. About 5 minutes after meeting the current management., they sped (30 MPH plus) out of the park. Understandable reaction to non-people skilled park management, but unsafe to current park occupants. We stayed here 4 nights. If management changes for the better, we might return here next year. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is an appealing, quiet and comfortable RV Park for the Quartzsite area. It a couple miles north of I-10 and away from the activity areas of the town. During June, as expected, the RV Park was empty. So we had our choice of sites. The majority of the sites appear to be pull-through sites with paved access roads. The level sites are well covered with quality gravel. Quality full hook-ups are provided at each site. A few sites have shade provided by full grown Palo Verde trees. There are a few Saguaros growing on the grounds. There is a weak Wi-Fi signal here. I ended using Verizon PDA instead of the local Wi-Fi connection. The office is functional with no information and the moderate size clubhouse has a pool table. There is a library, but we carry more books in our Motorhome then what we found in the clubhouse library. This is another RV Park awash with night time glaring security lights. Perhaps there is a crime problem here. The two adjacent tight space RV Parks appear to be a dumping ground for run down trailers and broken 5th Wheelers. There are no pet areas and few recreational opportunities here. There is a back gate providing access to a desert wash. We stopped here for an overnight to avoid the wind and heat of afternoon driving. It is the best Quartzsite has to offer. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Was unable to check into this park because we travel with a Miniature Pincher. We have traveled with her for many years and this is first time we weren't allowed to camp because of her. They quoted that their insurance didn't allow Min Pins because they were part of the Doberman family. Perhaps their insurance company should do their homework--min pins are part of the terrier family of dogs, not doberman! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very busy camp. Internet was available if you go to the clubhouse or have a signal booster. Laundry available. We were here for 2 weeks. They are not pet friendly. No dog run. We had to take our dogs out into the desert area. I put ours into the car and drove over. I felt it was to far to walk them and me. RV sites are close together but we had plenty of room in front to park our truck. We found out they will not refund at all when we had an emergency and had to leave a couple of days early. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
I should have realized that this park had an “attitude” when a non-refundable $50 deposit was required when making reservations. We asked if we could change sites and park with an RV club, but we could not change sites without losing the deposit. We have been RVing for 40 years, and the staff here is, without a doubt, the most unfriendly and rudest that we have ever encountered. Had it not been for the deposit, we would have left. We talked to several neighbors and club members. ALL agreed. Some ridiculous rules apply. Our rally cannot have breakfast before 9 AM because we are not allowed in the club room any earlier. For dinner, beverages: wine, beer, booze, must be put into plastic since glass is not allowed in the room. They are very strict on dog rules: breed, size limit (25lbs) and where dogs are allowed. When you come to Quartzsite, you must remember this is the desert: everything is dusty and dirty. There are no trees and no grass. RV parks are no exception and should not be downgraded because of this. And, do not come in January without reservations. This is a mecca for RVers and desert rats and should be “experienced” at least once. This RV park is the newest and possibly the nicest in the area. Small concrete patios at each site but poorly placed and we were unable to park where the patio was at our door. Sites are gravel, streets are paved. Because of the staff and overall negative attitude of the park we will NOT stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We just returned after a three night stay with a full hookup site at this park. People at the gate very friendly and helpful. Topped off propane tank at 2.75 a gallon! Low water pressure in the park. Very quiet place, good location to use your UTV to shop at Tyson Wells. It was OK for the money. They charge $5 for water fill and $15 to dump if you dry camp so I guess full hook ups at $30 is not bad. We had a nice campfire every night as it was very, very cold. If you are planning a trip for the shows in January this is not a bad place to stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A very large gravel area, mostly $7/night dry camping, with room for hundreds of dry campers. There are 16 30-amp full hookup sites and eight 50-amp full hookup sites. The hookups are all behind the rigs (they park tail-to-tail), so bring a long sewer hose. No restrooms, showers, or Wi-Fi. Water pressure was so low that we filled our tank and used our water pump, and we were virtually the only customers in the park. They have about 10 new water-fill stations and a half dozen new dump stations. There is a fee for both. Since we had a full hookup site, we didn't use them. The only reason we stayed there was that we had been dry camping for several days and wanted a night of full hookups before moving on. It served that purpose. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Good area to dry camp. Stay free for 14 days. Level and easy in/out. Stayed 2 nights and would stay again, only negative (and that wasn't too bad) is highway noise IF you park to close to highway. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Free boon dock area on the east side of Quartzsite. Exit on the east side of town, go south to the stop sign, turn left and follow the road back around to where it parallels I-10. Great place to overnight when traveling through the area or for longer stays during the winter season (14 day limit). No facilities available, but you get what you pay for. Only negative is I-10 truck noise if you stay near the front. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a pretty nice area. I stayed one night while in route from San Diego to Phoenix and felt perfectly safe and comfortable. The only negative is the freeway traffic noise, which is constant day and night. It woke me up a couple times, so next time I'll get further from the highway. Positives: wide open level area, free of charge, stretches for miles, plenty of privacy. Exit I-10 at exit 19 and follow the signs. No marked spaces or formalities. Just pick a place you like and drop anchor. No services, but water and sewer dump can be found in town for a fee. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
BLM 14 day free dry camping area just east of Quartzsite on the south side of I-10 off East Dome Rock Rd. Very close to all the Quartzsite activities. Road noise from I-10. No designated sites. Park where you want. No services available. Good location for a night or two when passing through "Q" and the price is right. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is one of the free BLM camping areas in the Quartzsite area. You are allowed to stay up to 14 days. There are no services--no water, no dump station, no dumpsters, nothin'. Scaddan Wash is reached by following the I-10 frontage road on the south side of the freeway east about a mile past Exit 19. There are plenty of roads suitable for big rigs as well as those requiring high clearance. The further you drive away from I-10, the quieter it is, of course. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Pay showers, hot water at rear restroom not yet turned on for season. Pay extra for 50 amp & Wi-Fi. Cash or check only. Agree with other comments about management. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Terrible owners: the employees very afraid of them. This park is in poor condition. The sites too close together. Would not stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Would have given it a higher rating, if the lady owner didn't have an attitude. As we were leaving our 1 night stay, she stood in the shadows watching every move we made atop her golf cart. Didn't acknowledge a good morning from my wife and pitched a fit when she seen I was filling up our fresh water holding tank. Pleasant Canadian staff, but a typical "Q" resident owner. Most likely; her time to retire. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This was the worst park we ever stayed in. During the Quartzite show, management squeezed the sites down to half size and parked 2 RV's in one site. No room for awnings, slideouts, tow dolly's, etc. Sites were dirty and noisy. Management was less then pleasant. Pass this one up. We stayed here in a motorhome. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Just an average park, all gravel, no grass, park is not well maintained, but not much is in Quartzite since it is a seasonal area in the winter time. Most of the parks we have seen in the area are about the same, some with less than this park. Giant flea market in the winter months. We camped here in a camper.
It's a good place for overnight. It is not very clean and it's very dusty. There is a lot of highway noise. The electric was only 30amp. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Made a reservation months in advance for mid-January to mid-February 2010. Made sure there would be solid 30 amp service. When we got there the 30 amp outlet on the electrical pedestal didn't work. We plugged into the 20 amp outlet for the night. The park manager called the electrician the next morning. He put a meter on it and determined it was working and left. We still had no 30 amp power so the electrician was called back out. After testing and taking the pedestal apart, he rewired it and it worked. We had power for the afternoon but once we started fixing dinner, we lost power. The neighbor behind us was sharing the same pedestal with us and their power was also lost. The office was closed so we plugged into adjacent pedestals where fortunately there were no RVs. The following morning, the manager checked the breaker in the park's box. The breaker had tripped. The neighbor noticed that the breaker was rated 40 amps. This meant that both our RVs were sharing 40 amps, not 60 amps. The neighbor asked if the breaker could be switched to 60 amps. The manager said no and that we needed to adjust our electrical use so as not to trip the breaker! We found a different park and moved. Unfortunately we lost the month's rent we had already paid because they didn't offer refunds since it was their peak season. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I stop here frequently (overnight) when travelling back and forth between California and Arizona. It's a quiet park on the outskirts of town adjacent to open desert, easy to drive around and easy to park in. If you come in late you can just settle yourself into a site and pay in the morning. The best thing about this park -- the very friendly hosts. Extremely nice people. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a very clean and quiet park. It sits on Highway 95 and traffic noise during the day could be a problem if that kind of thing bothers you. At night however, it is quiet. The laundry facilities are quite reasonable and clean with 4 washers and dryers. I didn't see any children but it's not advertised as an adult or seniors park. The lack of phone, cable and wifi does not bother me but it may be a negative for others. I will be returning next year if in the area. Our rate for a weeks stay was $110.00. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is an adequate park well located in Quartzsite, but, like most RV parks in the area, it's nothing to get excited about. Since we were here during the annual RV Show, we were pleased to find a park that didn't insist on a minimum two week stay. Due to that and the friendly, helpful park staff, we raised the rating from what normally would have warranted only a 5 to a 7. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Friendly staff and hosts. Wi-Fi very weak and often unavailable, but great Verizon signal. The floors of the bathroom/shower combo were dirty, but the shower itself was clean. Gravel sites, not too level, but tolerable. Lots to do in town and in the desert, for sure. A great place to visit if you're into RVs, geocaching, and shopping the huge flea markets. Scenery abounds with sunset and rises hard to beat. Arizona in winter is great. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A nice park with a laundromat next door. 30/50 amp on all pedestals. Large spaces. All gravel. Nice clubhouse with a full kitchen, large screen TV and pool table. Space for about 50 people. Be sure to enter off Mesquite. I gave it a 7 rating but for Quartzsite it is a 10. The best in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Friendly desert park with gravel roads and sites. Nice club house with tables, TV, etc. Scheduled activities. Park is on main street so traffic is heavy during the winter season. Large public laundry next door. Grocery store and restaurant across street. Near Gem Mineral club and QIA building. Great location for the Quartzsite shows and activities. Internet was a bit swishy washy. Paid a monthly rate plus electric. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a small but very well maintained park. It is in the desert, so it is all gravel, but sites were very large. We did an overnight here on our way to Las Vegas. It was hot and all we needed was 50 amps to run our A/C and it was great. The couple that runs the park is a 10+, they could not have been more helpful and accommodating. They gave us a great scenic route to Las Vegas which was fantastic! Although I doubt I would ever spend a whole winter in Quartzsite, I would certainly come back to this park again if I were passing through. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Stayed here for one month. 250 dollars per month and your power cost 17 cents per KWH. Internet worked well most of the time. Hope to come back here next year. Park staff were very good. The noisy dogs were a bit much at times but still gave it a 10. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We spent one night here as we were passing through Arizona. It was fine for one night, but I don't think I would stay longer. This park is very close to the I-10 freeway and the noise from the trucks was pretty overwhelming. The park itself is just OK, although the staff was wonderful. Each space is on gravel with adequate space between each unit. Nothing fancy; more like a big gravel parking lot. Water pressure was quite low but still usable. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
If you want a clean, well run, spacious and friendly place to stay in Quartzsite--this is THE place. Staff is super friendly, spaces are really big! There is also a cool clubhouse with a pool table, big screen TV, games and activities. Great people and a great place. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is one of the newest parks in Quartzsite. The location is absolutely excellent on the main street of town and close to everything. The managers and the owner of the park are active and super nice folks. This is a great place to stay if you are spending time in Quartzsite. The sites are roomy and most all the folks there were friendly. Only issue we had was RV sales staff staying there in January trying to sell RVs to folks. This is why we rated a "9" instead of a "10". Laundry is just around the corner. We would definitely return to this park. (Rate reflects the monthly rate.) We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Monthly rate was $181.66 using a three month min. with tax included and during peak season. Clean park with paved drive. Electric is 18 cents per kwh which is the same as other parks. I used my solar panels occasionally and cut the cost of electric way down. I have spent three seasons here with no problems. Owner goes out of her way to help and offer customer service. Ignore nightly rate as this park has no nightly rates. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Nightly rate based on a monthly fee of 170.00. This park is small, dirty with a lot of road noise. Make sure if staying here you read your meter. You pay your own electric at .18 per kWh and the owner will over charge if allowed too. We would never stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Wow...it's nice to get lucky once in a while. Based on other reviews we booked this for the mid Jan to mid Feb and after being here for two weeks we are very happy. I love watching the rigs drive up and down Hwy 95 during the day but very quiet at night. The owners bend over backwards helping making campers comfortable. I have never attended so many camp activities as here...cards, board games, feeds and classes from music to tai-chi. Would be a 10 if there were more than one toilet bathroom for the whole campground but...hey, I can survive. Rate reflects monthly rate. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Our first time here. Great little park. Owners are very, very friendly and caring. After several days of dry camping it is nice to have great 50amp, good water pressure, and no dust. Gravel is good and sites level. Nice concrete patio area. Will use this park again for sure. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This was our first time to Quartzsite and we picked this park because they gave and Escapees discount. Turns out its a very nice park and easy to get to and very friendly owners. This is a park catering to 55 or older so there are know kids in the park or facilities for them. The new owners have put a lot of work into this Park and it shows. They had a wonderful dinner for all of us on St. Patricks Day. We will come back again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
More dirt than gravel. Permanent residents tie their dogs up, the dogs relieve themselves on the road. Rigs and cars just drive over the mess. Vito parks RVs wherever. Will not return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed at this park to have some work done by Kevin Mallory of Cruising America. We were assigned a site next to him. This RV Park is very basic but had good 50 amp service. The roads and sites are all gravel. There are few scattered trees, but they aren't large enough for appreciable shade. I didn't get a count of the number of spaces available. Vito's also rents vending space on the frontage of Kuehn Road, it was hard to tell where the vender sites end and the RV sites start. There were rigs of every kind and age some tents were in evidence but it was hard to tell if they were in the part called Vito's RV Park. The lack of facilities didn't bother us since we were there to have work done on the coach. We camped here in a Motorhome.
