Older park with all the associated issues: narrow interior roads, tight corners and cramped sites. They've carved out a couple rows of overnighter, pull-through sites that are much longer and wider than those occupied by the longer-term residents. Pleasant front office was a delight after a long day on the road. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We were passing through so only stayed the one night. Office hours were only 9 am to Noon, these will probably increase as the busy season (winter) approaches. Self check in was cash only in an envelope (Good Sam) then go pick your site. Wide long pull-thrus, level gravel, Cable TV, full hook ups. Make sure you get the Wi-Fi and Restroom codes on your campground map. About 1/4 mile from freeway, a little noise with the vents open. Restrooms were old, but very clean. No shade and dusty from the wind. OK for our over night stop. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Roads were paved and the sites were pea gravel and level. The lady at check in was nice and we were escorted to our site. The park is about 75% live in and from what I saw the place was well kept and clean. A lot of room to park and for slideouts. About one half mile from pilot and loves. We came in off season so it one of the few parks that are open. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Good Sam rate quoted. We were given a spot away from the freeway and heard no traffic noise. Cable TV worked well enough to see the Super Bowl. Steep incline when entering the park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Good place to overnight. Mostly park models in here but they keep a couple dozen pull through sites available for overnighters. Easy in and out and everything seemed to be clean and neat. All the utilities worked good. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This was a great place to stop while in Quartsize. Bathrooms/Showers were very nice. Seemed new. Escort to site and everyone was very nice. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is an OK park which we stayed two nights to explore Quartzite. Everything worked fine and is as advertised. I couldn't find any internet access, but didn't go to the office to ask and only tried my laptop's Wi-Fi system. It was very dusty when we were in town, which is a feature of Quartzite, I guess. If we were to return to Quartzite, we would stay here, but after viewing the baren landscape of Quartzite, I seriously doubt that we will return and just keep on trucking down IH-10 in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice park. Even though we didn't have extended reservations they were able to slide us in until our reservations in Brenda kicked in. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice stop over. Lot's of permanent sites. Most are clean & tidy. Pretty quiet & peaceful. Wi-Fi, very slow, did not use it, $6.00 per day, not worth it. Would stay again We camped here in a Motorhome.
Good overnight RV park. Clean and fairly quiet. Not much activity after the snowbirds leave. Gravel sites with dirt interior roads. Take time to visit their cactus gardens. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Not much here but the basics, but those basics are provided with grace and style. There are lots of permanent rigs, but enough empty sites to accommodate travelers. Very basic. No picnic tables at sites. One single-person restroom with shower. Immaculate. Very nice host and hostess. There is a laundry room and a library/sitting room in central building with that one restroom. Great for an overnight stop, or even longer, if your intention is to be out in Quartzsite during the season. If we're traveling through again, this would be our first choice. This place doesn't seem to be in Woodalls. I haven't a clue how I found it. I may have just picked it off Google Maps. I'm giving it a 7 rating, not because it has lots of features, but because it does exactly what is needed, with no issues or problems. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We found this to be a nice campground: bare bones but clean rest rooms, a nice laundry and a lot of places to walk or bike. Large spaces and the camp hosts are very friendly and helpful. Several activities at the clubhouse, a book/puzzle exchange and nice residents living here. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We looked at all the parks in Quartzsite, and this was the nicest, in my opinion. Large sites, quiet neighbors, nice laundry. It's across the street from BLM land, where I could let the dog run. Excellent 50 amp power, even under a load. Pleasant office staff. Nothing fancy, just a well-maintained gravel park. It is a 55+ park with many seasonals. Every rig was well maintained, with no junk lying around. They have free WiFi in the clubhouse. The fee-based WiFi was not accessible from our site. Quartzsite has terrific Verizon EVDO data service, though. $21.94/night was the Escapees rate. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Clean park, friendly staff, seasonal rates, and mail service available. Quiet park with lots of group activities during the winter season. Only 7 pull throughs. Nice laundry facility, library and bathrooms. Full hookups. Wifi available through outside company, only worked until the park filled. (Then we were told the RV's blocked the signal) Large spaces plenty of room for multiple vehicles or storage units. Fairly level dirt lots, no landscaping. Cannot wash RV's on site. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a gravel parking lot with electric and water hook-ups. No sewer, no cable, and Wi-Fi only if you sit by the laundry room. There was hair in all of the showers. I mean a lot of hair. It looked like they had not been cleaned in quite some time. Not one thing special, and yet they charge as much as those with all the amenities. Oh, and they take cash or check only. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Your basic RV gravel park in the desert. Water was good, power was good, dump station was clean. I agree with the review below. Very nice people. They also had a nice Super Bowl party with chili dogs. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Rustic, but very friendly staff. Right on Business 10 in Quartzsite which is a town of about 5000 full time residents whose population swells to close to a million every January and February when they host a couple of big RV and Mineral shows. Most folks dry camp on BLM land, but if you are in the mood for something slightly more formal then B-10 is fine. Essentially it is an enormous expanse of gravel with a few cinder block buildings for showers, laundry, office etc. Sites in the "back" may offer sewer hookups, otherwise there is a dump on the facility. The staff is great-friendly and make free coffee daily. Campfires are permitted at your site, plus there are some community fire rings around. You are about a 2-3 minute drive to the "Big Tent" for the RV show. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We have spent from one to three months at a time here almost every year since we started fulltiming in 2002. We like camping out at the far edge of the LTVA, where our nearest neighbor is almost a quarter mile away even during the busiest time. The main gravel roads that wind through the LTVA are navigable by any size rig. During January, tens of THOUSANDS of RV show up in Quartzsite, so expect heavy traffic in town during that time. Each of the four La Posa areas has dumpsters, but fresh water and dump stations are only in La Posa South. As long as you have the LTVA permit displayed on your vehicle, you can park anywhere and still use the water and dump stations in La Posa South. I use a small blue boy for our gray water and have a honey wagon come out every couple weeks to pump the black tank. This year they raised their rates from $20 to $25, but they will come out to the remotest parts of the 11,400-acre LTVA. The closer you park to the highway, the dustier it will be. If you drive farther out in the desert, there is a lot more gravel than dust. It is often windy in Quartzsite, so keep that in mind. Tents and RVs that are not self-contained (defined as having at least a 10-gallon permanently mounted waste tank) can camp only within proximity to the few potable toilets there. There are also free BLM areas in the area. You can stay only two weeks in those areas, and there are no dumpsters, water, or sewer services in them. There are places in town to dump and fill for about $10. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This report is on the BLM's dry camping area just South of Quartzsite, AZ. It is sometimes abbreviated as "La Posa LTVA". During the big RV and gem show in late January, many thousands of RVs converge on the city, creating traffic jams for those getting to and from the shows by road. The La Posa LTVA solves this problem, since you can walk to the shows from here. The LTVA is basically just a big area of brush and that has had some dirt roads carved into it over the years. The procedure for camping here is to arrive, purchase one of two types of permits, and then find a place that looks comfortable to camp. Then set up camp there. When finished, leave. It's that simple. There are no "lots" or "spot numbers" -- it's just open land. A Youtube or Google search will get you lots of pictures or movies of it. The permits are either for up-to-14-days or whole-season. The up-to-14 day permits are $40, regardless of how few nights you stay. The longer permits are $180 for up to 7 months. There are garbage bins, dump stations, a water station, and "vault toilets". Also, 3rd party trucks come around to pump you out if you like, and to sell propane. There are also numerous dump/fill stations in Quartzsite. We had a great time here, enjoying the RV show, rock show, local colorful personalities, and just the general "Wild West" feeling of the place. ATVs abound, but there was never any rowdiness of any kind. Indeed, perhaps due to the demographics. This is what you would call the "Old West", in terms of demographics. Will repeat. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Power quality was poor. Both high voltage and low voltage experienced. Park ... and town ... was full due to gem and mineral show and swap meet. Would not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We choose to stay here instead out at the BLM fee area. Park fills up with Snowbirds and we got here at the end of the season [Feb. 27] as most of the venders had left till next year. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is one of those Parks that is only for a quick overnight stay. They don't accept reservations. Office staff was semi-friendly. I'm sure during the Winter months they are full but our stay made me want to wash the RV off when we left. The laundry room floor was covered with dead grasshoppers, as were the machines. We were just too far from home to complete our journey that evening or we would never have stopped. I'll not say we would never stay here again but hopefully, we would not have to stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I had to rate this Bureau of Land Management free camping area. It is a beautiful place and there is something wonderful about dry camping once in a while. If you can do without gorging on electricity and water for a few days, this place is worth experiencing. Depending on the size of your RV, you may wish to choose a site earlier on the trail as the road eventually may have some dips and bumps that you might not to drag your 45 foot Newell or Prevost over. I can't wait to go back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is far from a pet friendly campground! They give you a long list of "rules" and threaten you to throw you out if you disobey them. The dogs were NOT welcome here and I will never stay here again because of that. Most of the population live here year round and were not friendly people! There's other choices, don't stay here. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Rate is based on weekly stay. We stayed for two weeks. Large sites, easy pull-ins, too. Staff was pleasant, and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Wi-Fi worked decent, and TV was basic cable and not too bad. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
I found the park to be clean, well cared for and the managers are so helpful. We got in after dark and my RV blew a fuse for the running lights and tail lights so I couldn't see to back into my space. The manager showed up with help and guided me into the space as pretty as you please using only hand held flashlights. I want thank you for that help and the pleasant experience my wife and I had! I like the park so much that I am considering moving me 5th wheel to Holiday Palms full time. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed at this park for 2 weeks and found it very comfortable, the staff very nice and the showers/bath were always clean. The spa is great after a long day in the desert. Enjoy! We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

Found the park pretty easy off I-10. Good Sam rate $25. Park guide took me to our site and helped me back the rig in, then showed me the utilities and explained the site (where to park car etc) very helpful. Roads are gravel/dirt mix and tend to blow dust some when the wind blows. Park is on Main St and accessible to a lot that Quartzsite has to offer. On Wednesday night there was a music "Jam" session. Really enjoyed this. Would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a decent park for a overnight stay, but I would not want to be here any longer. Large overnight parking, and very large roads, made it easy to park our 40' motorhome and car. Located right on the strip in Quartzsite, close to all the flea markets. The downside is the dust, due to the unpaved roads and sites. We had to keep the windows closed in order to keep the interior clean. The on-site car wash was the best we have seen, and saved us $10 on a car wash. We would stay here again for a overnight. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The $25 rate was before Good Sam discount. They have a pressure washing station where I was able to wash my truck for no extra charge. One of the permanent residents washed my 32 foot 5th wheel for only $50. There is a very large hot tub located within the office/restroom/laundry building that is quite good. I gave this park a 10 because is is the best that this town has to offer which isn't much. Everything else I looked at were like parking lots. Holiday Palms RV park is the only park I would consider staying at if I ever had reason to find myself in Quartzsite. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed overnight in one of the pull through spaces reserved for overnighters (#6). Friendly staff, very clean campground. Caters to snowbirds, but as overnighters we were welcomed. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Really enjoyed staying in this park. Friends had to park their RV close to the highway so it was a little noisy but we didn't have the same problem because our space was a little further in. The staff was very helpful and friendly as were the short term renters. However, the long term residents specifically on the East side between Rows "D, E and F" were not happy that the park now allows pets, and were particularly nasty to everyone walking their dogs. Beware if you are a pet owner and venture anywhere near them. You will certainly be berated even if you are walking down the middle of the road any time of the day. These people should realize (long term residents) that if it wasn't for us short term renters paying the higher cost, they would certainly be paying a much higher yearly rate. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Good Sam park. Generally agree with other reviews. Lots of freeway noise. Cable TV had several channels with fuzzy sound. We would go there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is without a doubt the best RV Park in town. We spent 2 days exploring the town of Quartsite and concluded that this is the only acceptable RV Park with full hookups, Cable TV and Wi-Fi. There are lots of other RV Parks/hook-ups located in every direction, but all were dusty/dirty and had disreputable look about them. The Cable TV had 17 channels and the signal was good. The Wi-Fi was very slow. The laundry facilities were good, but would be very busy during the winter season as there were only about 6 or 8 washers and dryers for a very large RV Park. There are no acceptable grocery stores anywhere in the town. For food there are numerous fast food kiosks and 1 McDonald's and 1 Burger King. The truck stops, Loves/Pilot, offer food. The so called food stores offered limited groceries and produce. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Stayed in a class C motor home. Paid $17 a night, with a Passport America discount. Has gravel pads for the RV and adjacent concrete pad for bench. No bench provided. Has WiFi available for a fee. Although did not charge me for the WiFi on my overnight stay. Place is very kept up and clean. Friendly office staff. RV hardware store adjacent to this RV park, is very handy. Restaurant about half a block away. Have been here before and will continue to stay at his park, for overnight stays. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This was the worst park we ever stayed in. During the Quartzite show, management squeezed the sites down to half size and parked 2 RV's in one site. No room for awnings, slideouts, tow dolly's, etc. Sites were dirty and noisy. Management was less then pleasant. Pass this one up. We stayed here in a motorhome. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Just an average park, all gravel, no grass, park is not well maintained, but not much is in Quartzite since it is a seasonal area in the winter time. Most of the parks we have seen in the area are about the same, some with less than this park. Giant flea market in the winter months. We camped here in a camper.
I stop here frequently (overnight) when travelling back and forth between California and Arizona. It's a quiet park on the outskirts of town adjacent to open desert, easy to drive around and easy to park in. If you come in late you can just settle yourself into a site and pay in the morning. The best thing about this park -- the very friendly hosts. Extremely nice people. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a very clean and quiet park. It sits on Highway 95 and traffic noise during the day could be a problem if that kind of thing bothers you. At night however, it is quiet. The laundry facilities are quite reasonable and clean with 4 washers and dryers. I didn't see any children but it's not advertised as an adult or seniors park. The lack of phone, cable and wifi does not bother me but it may be a negative for others. I will be returning next year if in the area. Our rate for a weeks stay was $110.00. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We spent one night here as we were passing through Arizona. It was fine for one night, but I don't think I would stay longer. This park is very close to the I-10 freeway and the noise from the trucks was pretty overwhelming. The park itself is just OK, although the staff was wonderful. Each space is on gravel with adequate space between each unit. Nothing fancy; more like a big gravel parking lot. Water pressure was quite low but still usable. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
If you want a clean, well run, spacious and friendly place to stay in Quartzsite--this is THE place. Staff is super friendly, spaces are really big! There is also a cool clubhouse with a pool table, big screen TV, games and activities. Great people and a great place. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is one of the newest parks in Quartzsite. The location is absolutely excellent on the main street of town and close to everything. The managers and the owner of the park are active and super nice folks. This is a great place to stay if you are spending time in Quartzsite. The sites are roomy and most all the folks there were friendly. Only issue we had was RV sales staff staying there in January trying to sell RVs to folks. This is why we rated a "9" instead of a "10". Laundry is just around the corner. We would definitely return to this park. (Rate reflects the monthly rate.) We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Monthly rate was $181.66 using a three month min. with tax included and during peak season. Clean park with paved drive. Electric is 18 cents per kwh which is the same as other parks. I used my solar panels occasionally and cut the cost of electric way down. I have spent three seasons here with no problems. Owner goes out of her way to help and offer customer service. Ignore nightly rate as this park has no nightly rates. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Nightly rate based on a monthly fee of 170.00. This park is small, dirty with a lot of road noise. Make sure if staying here you read your meter. You pay your own electric at .18 per kWh and the owner will over charge if allowed too. We would never stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
