Maricopa County has some really nice campgrounds with great sites, however this place was a little bit disappointing. The pluses are the views looking eastward toward the Valley of the Sun (Phoenix) are wonderful, the mostly spacious sites and the great hiking and biking trails. The negatives are no water at the sites, no dump station at all, 40% unlevel sites and one bathroom building for 40 sites with only a single shower for each of the men and women sides in the building. The ratio of toilets/showers to campers is disappointing. Generator hours are from 8am to 10pm which might be improved by having only a morning an early evening period such as 7-9am and 4-7pm. We camped here in a Motorhome.
