This was a quick overnight stop. The park seemed nice. It was peaceful. Sites were roomy enough to open slides without crowding. Staff was friendly. I'd stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Off the highway, so it's quiet. Easy to find. Owner lives on site so knows what is going on. Owner right there to help find site, etc. Owner friendly & helpful. Grounds kept clean & neat as are the office & laundry room. Definitely would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great small park just off I-40 in central Arkansas. We have used this campground several times as our layover between our home in GA and our destination in TX. Would like to be able to stay a few days instead of just one night one of these times. Owners live on-site, they were very accommodating with our layover needs. A Pilot/Flying J is between the campground and Interstate, very convenient. Sites were very easy to maneuver with our 53' rig. And level enough that we did not have to unhitch for the night. We just pulled in, got on shore power for the A/C, and had a pleasant, albeit brief stay (4 times now). We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park. Surprisingly packed in the early season. There were only two sites available when we arrived and they were very unlevel, but nothing a couple of large rocks couldn't correct. Most sites were much more level than ours. Great price. Loved the lake. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Beautiful state park! Had lake-front site, steps going down to lake. Welcome Center at park is very nice with several fish tanks stocked with fish from the lake. Park staff was very friendly. Would camp here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This place is a gem, and the price is great! I think I have the whole park (and lake) to myself! Rates have changed a bit from the website. Sunday-Thursday are the lowest. And don't miss the aquariums and short interpretive film at the visitor center. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Fairly level site with adequate room. The sites are nicely spaced apart. The water and electrical hookups were in good shape. The only major drawback was the poison ivy. It was EVERYWHERE. Overall a nice National Forest campground. Just be careful where you walk! I am still itching! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We went there for a couple of days and it is a great place to get away from it all and still have some of the comforts of home with the hook ups. This is one of the few campgrounds that has hookups. You can't use a cell as there is no signal there. No playgrounds either other than the river and mother nature. We loved it. The camp sites are very private with greenery all around. Black as silk at night to for star gazing. If you want a rustic place with hookups, this is it. It is 20 miles north of Russellvile. Look up the site to find out more. Don't want to make it too easy to find than everyone will be there, you know what I mean? We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

I stayed here six weeks while working at Arkansas Nuclear One Nuclear Station. The RV park is very convenient to the nuclear plant, but does not have much in the way of amenities. It is a very basic RV park. The restrooms and showers are clean, but need some updating. There are four laundry machines and four dryers. Russellville is a few miles away, and has a number of stores and restaurants. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Good access from I-40. Very steep paved entry. When you enter park stop short of the first house/office on right or you will miss the turn into the pull through sites. Most of the interior roads are dirt or gravel. Cash or check only. No escort to site. Good view of lake from some of the top pull through sites. Great area for pets. Easy access to town. Interior roads tend to be narrow. Good water pressure, but old electric boxes. Stayed in a 40' Class A with a 20' trailer in tow. Would not stay again due to access problems with over length rig. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This place is OK for an overnight stop. It does have WiFi and it worked pretty well. No cable TV but several channels are available via antenna. The lake is in a distance and can only be seen from a few sites. The sites are gravel and grass is very sparse. The restrooms and showers are clean but aging and not air conditioned. Cash only for site payment. Overall maintenance is not the best. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Good campground. Clean restrooms, large sites. Easy in & out. Dark so you can see the night sky. Megaphone noise from nearby plant. Would camp here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We found this to be a very pleasant park. Plenty of room between units, shady, close to the Arkansas River. Didn't have sewer hookups or other amenities. Hosts were congenial and helpful. Park was clean. Only real negative was the sign pointing to the entrance is real small and low to the ground. We will definitely come back here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We loved this place, but their prices have gone up since the last time. Has excellent facilities though. A few strange people were loitering in the RV park while we stayed here, but the office person took care of that quickly. I liked that it was clean and mostly quiet (except a few dogs that were barking at us because we weren't feeding them). We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects Good Sam discount. Quiet and easy off/on to interstate 40. Level gravel sites with decent space between RVs in the pull-thru sites. Staff cordial. Great selection of cable channels. Bathrooms need remodeling and toilet was soiled. Showers finished in drab concrete, so it was difficult to tell if clean or not. Still recommend for an overnite pull-thru. Park located in a dry county (Welcome to Arkansas!), so if you like 'happy hour', come prepared. Cracker Barrel restaurant nearby across interstate. We camped here in a Motorhome.

If your traveling east or west on I-40 and need a place for the night then this is a good spot. The park is clean with long level gravel sites, most of which are pull-through. Great 50amp electric. Didn't hook up to water or sewer so can't comment. We didn't visit the area so don't know what activities they have other than probably water related since a huge lake, Lake Dardanell, is nearby. The listed rate is for Good Sam and might be a bit overpriced. If you visit their website and use the listed address to plug into your GPS you'll end up about a mile south of I-40 instead of about a mile north of I-40 where you need to be. The correct address for this park is 10 Outdoor Ct., Russellville, AR not the Lakefront Dr address. All in all we would stay here again when passing through. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We needed our tow bar repaired, used the Outdoor Living service center down the road from the campground. We needed to overnight, our site was a pull through which was long and level. We did not hook up our water hose, the connection is very unusual and difficult to access!!! They need to change that. The bath house was adequate: cinder block walls and concrete floors, old but clean. The electric and cable TV were excellent, Wi-Fi was ok. Very suitable for an overnight, do yourself a favor, and use your fresh water tank. Some road noise, but not a problem. We would return. Fair price. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Their prices were the best we could find in the area. The facility was very nice. You can pay extra to access their pool. We enjoyed our stay at this RV park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
