Very nice smaller campground one mile off I-40, little road noise. Water quality and pressure good. Paved entry road, gravel interior roads are in good shape. Gravel sites, pretty level. Wi-Fi worked well. Sites are a little close but enough room for slides and awnings. Close to town if you need to restock. Very friendly helpful office. We would stay here again. This is a FINE wayside, near I-40 yet far enough away to mute traffic sounds. Beautifully maintained side-by-side pull through parking with grass and small trees between sites. A tasteful nightlight tops each power post; the water and sewer are easy to hook and clean. Friendly management. Great place to stay on your way to Petit Jean or Dardenelles. Rate reflects Good Sam discount. The CG is close to I-40 with easy access to services in Russellville. There are pull through sites and back in sites with 30/50, S/W & Cable TV. The CG is immaculate and the amenities spotless. Roads and sites are packed gravel & mostly level. There is playground equipment and a picnic shelter near the office/lodge. The CG seems to be full every night. Big rigs have ample room to set up and park the toad or tow vehicle. Lots of folks stop here for the night and move on early the next morning. Owners are very nice and helpful. They post a reservation board on the veranda at the office with incoming names and the site # assigned. We are impressed with the CG and would return when we are in the area in the future. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Small campground, but a real "find." Pull thru gravel site was level. Our 40' coach & tow vehicle just fit so we didn't have to detach. Water pressure & electric were fine. Nice quiet place. The owner, was not in office on our arrival but left number to call. He answered promptly, told us our site number, and arrived shortly after. He was friendly & helpful. After we set up, we found that the fuse in the coach had blown so the car battery was dead. He did not have the mini fuses in his office so he drove out and got the fuse for us. We highly recommend this campground but make reservations because it fills up fast. We camped here in a Motorhome.

After a long, busy day we decided to stop early and see if they had any space available here for the night. There was no one in the office but the check-in board showed they were full, so we turned around to head for our original destination when we saw the owner approaching. We have a Sprinter based Roadtrek, and he said he could easily fit us in a small parking area behind the office and provide us with water and 30 amp power and a place to dump on our way out. He showed us where to park, set up the water and power cord, and said he'd catch us in the morning. The park is small, quiet, clean and neat. Sites were gravel and looked level. There is a small playground and covered picnic pavilion. The very friendly owner gave us a discount because we didn't have full amenities. What we did have was a quiet, private spot and a great night's sleep. We would love to visit this park again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a very quaint park. It is right off I-70 and we stayed here for 3 nights. The manager was very helpful. We were going to be arriving late and he even called to make sure that we would be there as it was going to be full. Thank goodness he did this as I'm not sure where we would have been able to stay had he given up our spot. The park is not a fancy park, but very, well kept. It was great and we would definitely stay here again if we come this way. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A relatively new facility with easy on-off from I-40. Didn't visit the restrooms but from the immaculate condition of everything else I would guess them to match. Helpful, friendly staff with good Wi-Fi, proper hookup locations, and very flat and level sites. Not really a destination campground because there is not much of significant interest nearby but it is an excellent stopover location. Would definitely stay here again. Ivy's Cove is a new park with a good layout. It has a new office area that includes a large laundry room with comfortable seating and tables and private shower rooms that were very clean. It is convenient to I-40 and shopping, but it is rural and no traffic noise was noticed. Several state parks and points of interest are nearby. We would have given a higher rating if they had a true clubhouse and scheduled activities. Most residents seemed to be working, so they probably weren't interested in activities. The owner/managers were friendly and concerned that all was well. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a new campground but has so much potential. Not much shade but the sites were level and fairly spacious. Laundromat was very clean. We just wanted a wide pull through space where we didn't have to disconnect our tow vehicle, easy in and out, no mud (it had rained buckets all day) and 50 amp electricity when we pulled into Ivy's Cove Retreat. We got all that plus sewer and water hookups that didn't require an extension and a very nice owner who greeted us and walked to our space to make sure we got there. Nice break on a rainy, miserable day. We camped here in a Motorhome.

It is a nice place to overnight, conveniently located just off I-40. There is not too much highway noise and a distant train whistle could be heard but did so loud as to interfere w/ our sleep. A very friendly owner, who gave us a discount even though we did not have any discount memberships. In the past, we have had difficulty finding nice RV parks in the south. Most have permanent residents that lend a "trashy" feel to many establishments. Not so here. It is a smaller, well maintained park with room to accommodate large rigs. There are gravel roads and pads. We did not use the WiFi or restroom facilities. We probably would not stay here for an extended period but would overnight here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Stayed at Ivy's Cove for a recent bass fishing tournament on Lake Dardanelle. The owner met us on arrival, and was very accommodating throughout our stay. Good wifi, full hookups and easy access to I-40 were highlights, as were the nice bathrooms and laundry. Would certainly stay there again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Relatively small park with office unattended most of the day. Owner can be contacted by phone at all times. No real shaded areas but flat and compacted gravel roads and sites. As noted previously GPS leads to a different lot but on the same road and the signage makes it easy to find the park. Located within 1/2 mile of I40 but didn't find it noisy at night. Lots of restaurants and shopping readily available and friendly staff when they are around. Limited recreation facilities within the park so I would recommend it for short term, not as a destination. This is an excellent overnight park. It's almost a mile off the road, and my GPS was a little confused about the address, but we followed the sign and found it just fine. The sites are gravel and level, and quiet. Great cable, grass between each site. Small trees, but overall we would stay there again. We did have a problem with a week wireless signal, and were not able to connect to the internet, but otherwise this is a great overnight place to stop with gas, diesel, propane within a very close distance and many restaurants, shops, and places to eat. This small, quiet campground has very level sites and the hookups are easily accessible to your unit. While this park has few frills, that is because it is new. The owner has plans (and has plenty of room) to expand once economic conditions improve. The showers and bathrooms are large and very clean. The laundry room also contains a couple of exercise machines (bike and treadmill) that you can use. There is a Flying J nearby where you can fill up both your gas and propane tanks. Within a 5- to 10-minute drive, there are plenty of eating establishments and a Wal-Mart Super center to pick up any needed supplies. I would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We lucked out without reservations, but stopped about 2:30. And got the last spot. Great stopover. Fairly new park. Owners were great and the park is very clean. Some long term people, because of construction in area, but all spots nice and neat. It was an easy off and on the freeway and the Flying J was small but one of the easiest we have used. Would definitely stop here if coming in this area. We took '7' over the mountain to Branson. A beautiful ride and road was good. A bit windy for large motorhomes, but doable. But we were in a 23ft and it worked great for us. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park is about 1 year old and very nice. Close to I-40, but not noisy, and there is a Flying J and Pilot at the off ramp. Close to town for groceries and other shopping. Roads in the park are gravel, and access to the medium sized sites is good for 40 footers. Met many short term and long term guests (very friendly) and the owner is very helpful. Great laundry facilties that include gym equipment and a computer with internet access. I stayed about 10 days and would definitely return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Wow what a find along I-40. This is a new (2 years old)RV park and very clean. The bathrooms were as nice as most fine hotels. Shade will happen someday as the trees are very small. Very friendly owner. Very helpful getting set up. Only issue would be with the interstate noise, but the trees will help that. We recommenced this park to several other campers heading west. Great campground, wonderful facilities! Easy pull through sites, easy access on and off the interstate. Very well maintained. The restroom, shower, laundry facilities are some of the nicest we have seen. They have a beautiful, coded entry room that contains 3 private bath rooms with showers, 4 washers, 4 dryers, laundry folding table, large table to sit around and visit or work, a computer station complete with desktop computer and WiFi, a book exchange, magazines and a TV. This room has lots of windows and steps out onto a grand wooden porch. The owners are very kind and accommodating. A real treat and a very fair price. We felt very safe and secure. They had great Christmas decorations as well. We'll definitely stay there again. We heard NO noise from nearby businesses or roads or trains as previously mentioned. They are a new campground and trees will grow. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice campground. Met all our criteria: easy on/off from I-40; clean and well maintained; easy to negotiate, level pull-through sites; good selection on the TV cable; and (best of all) a very fast, free Wi-Fi. Several fuel suppliers close by. Some noise from the trucks at the Flying J, but that didn't bother us. Not much to do for a extended stay, but all we needed was an overnight and this was an excellent stop. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The pluses of this campground: Very easy and convenient to get to as it's right off I-40. All sites are level. Full hookups, including cable with abundant stations and excellent wi-fi. Relatively neat and clean grounds. Nice owners. Good price for a full hookup site with cable and wi-fi. Right next to a Flying J truck stop, so convenient to fill up if needed. It's a decent place for a stopover, but not a place to stay for more than a day or two. The negatives of this campground: LOTS and LOTS of road noise, both from I-40 and the state road that the campground is located on, and the very busy Flying J truck stop that almost adjoins the property. Also, a major train route runs nearby, so you will get periodic train whistles to wake you up. You may need ear plugs to sleep. The sites are not very big and are pretty close to each other. Lengthwise - just large enough to fit our 40' motorhome. Had to disconnect the toad and park it parallel so it was out of the road. Width - If we extended our awning, we'd have probably touched the neighbors slide. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A diamond in the rough. We looked all around Little Rock and this is definitely the best. Big Rig friendly. I had no problem swinging in a 40' rig in the pull-through. Owners are very helpful and very friendly. Everything was very clean and maintained. No shade trees but I like it so I don't have to get up on the rig and sweep off leaves. This is the only place we will stay in Arkansas. They have plans to add even bigger pull throughs in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Although the lake and park facilities are very appealing, this was our least favorite Arkansas state park as far as the campground is concerned. The sites lacked privacy, and the vehicles parked by the road made it hard even for our small van camper to get into our site. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Beautiful state park. Paved roads with paved sites that are wide and plenty of room between other sites, though very little privacy. Have nice concrete pads and good fire rings and BBQ grills, though a fire ban was on and we could not use it. Was not a problem for us. Full hookups available which is rare at state parks. Has boat launch available. Marina and RV repair operated by private companies, but nice if needed. Very quiet at night, except for train off over the lake. Dated bath houses were not clean, and ignored by park hosts/staff, which is a shame. Wonderful visitor center was informational with huge fish tanks and interpretive areas. Nice sunset view over the lake, but eerie with the "nuke" in the background. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Arkansas does a wonderful job with their State Parks and tourism. Lake Dardanelle SP is very nice. The cheaper camp sites are short and fairly steep. You'll be challenged to level your rig front to back. The more expensive sites are large and level. If possible, pick you own site then register. Over age 65 gets a 25% discount. Can't beat that with a stick. Very wooded campground with a great view of the lake. Bathroom was heated and clean. Weak cell phone signal. No TV signal. Satellite would be tough because of the trees. There is a nuclear power plant on lake. No big deal. The visitor center is unreal with great displays. Will stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This Park Headquarters was large with many interesting displays, aquariums and information. Park was well maintained and clean. There is a nice walking trail. We were assigned a very unlevel paved site where we had to do a lot of leveling to get the RV adjusted. Found out later that the park map has a little L by the level sites, so be sure to check that before accepting the assigned site if that is important to you. We couldn't get any TV reception. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Wireless internet was available in the lobby of the park offices. This is one of the best set ups for water, electricity, and sewer we have seen. Some new dirt had been spread and we got a good rain which made some muddy spots, but overall this park was excellent. Pads were very level and had nice picnic tables and grills and fire pits. Good access to lake shoreline. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Some of the “waterfront” sites only have a view of the marina. That said, it is a great park, even if it has only 30 amp sites. Our site was huge. Amazing visitor center. Great views. Our GPS took us through residential areas to get to the campground, so follow the campground’s directions. Very Helpful staff. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful campground. We were there on a Saturday for an overnighter and it was quiet. It was very relaxing!! We were in A loop #11 right next to the water. The site was very long with plenty of room for a big rig and a toad. It looked like the apron was new made out of ashpalt and totally level. We were able to use our tv sat., cellphones and aircard for the computer (we are fulltiming) Markets were close by along with restaurants and just about anything else one might need. Water pressure was great, and we had no problems with the power. We would go back again if we were in the area, we really enjoyed the park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Agree with the earlier post: very nice park. The only thing to be careful of is that many of the sites are not anywhere near level. We had the jacks blocked and fully extended (front wheels off the ground), and we were still bow down. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A beautiful park, beautifully maintained by the state, right on the lake. Probably packed in the summer, but delightfully empty in November. Sites vary -- some right at water's edge are slightly more expensive than those in the trees, but posts at each site tell you exactly how much each site is, from $14.50 to $21.50. The grounds and buildings are extremely well maintained, and the visitor center is very large with very helpful personnel. Park has everything: boat dock and marinas, several boat launches, rental cabins, swimming beach, picnic areas with pavilions (for rent) and miniature golf. We were sorry we could stay only one night. (The only black mark here was that you could see the cooling tower of a nuclear power plant a couple miles away across the lake.) We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice location off of I-40 near Russellville, Ar. Sate park type of camp on the lake. Great view, many right on the water. Just stayed overnight on two occassions but were pleased. We camped here in a camper.

This park is right on a very large lake, with really amazing views. Right by Interstate 40. Well kept grounds and park. Very friendly couple own and operate the park and live on-site. There are washer and dryers available, showers, and bathroom. Some shady spots. Paved/ concrete pull-thrus. Hope to come back another time! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Park is close to town and easy to get to. Has very friendly and helpful camp managers. Park was very well maintained and kept up, with level sites. There's fishing opportunities along the shore of the river. Except for the typical night noises of the birds and crickets, it was really quiet on the night we were here. Another well-maintained COE park with big level sites. We could watch barges going through the lock from our site on the river. Many mature pine, cedar, and other trees. Water and 30-amp power at each site, central dump station. Excellent visitor center a mile up the road. The only down side is the International Paper plant adjacent to the campground, which produced a constant thrum of machinery noise. We would stay there again, though. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a good overnight stop off of I-40. There was a lot of highway noise in the afternoon, but it was not bad at night. We used the wi-fi with no problems. It had been raining for a few days and there was a lot of standing water around, but not in the sites. There are no trees or shade. Dog run is a strip by a fence, but we walked ours behind the storage units. Staff was very friendly. Only problem I had was hooking up and disconnecting from the water spiket. It's below ground and I had to kneel down, use both hands and man handle the hose to get it to work; not fun in the rain. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here as simple overnight guests - but had to replace an alternator on the truck so stayed an extra day. The staff was very friendly and live next to the office. The camp and restrooms were clean and very usable. Once we left the campgrounds we stopped by their Sales/Service department to get our water heater looked at (it didn't seem to be working correctly). They immediately went out to the RV showed me what the problem was and refused to take payment!! I would highly recommend anyone traveling through the Russellville area that is in need of RV servicing to give Outdoor Living (directly off I-40) a shot. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Wi-Fi didn't work. Was told it didn't work with Vista Windows. Cable lower channels, which is where the main network channels are, was fuzzy. Thought price per night was high for park appearance. Small gravel lots. Surprised that this is a Good Sam location. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice park for an overnight stop. It is not a destination. Although they have wifi it was not working correctly, and they had no concept as to what they should do. Park is noisy from trucks on I-40. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Easy access to and from I-40. Friendly staff. Laundry room adequate. Definitely better than some overnight places we've been but wouldn't want to stay there for an extended period of time as sites aren't that wide. We thought a bit pricey for what it had to offer. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The Outdoor Living Center RV Park is located just off I-40 in Russellville, Arkansas. Pros: It is very close to the Interstate for a one night stop over. The staff were friendly and helpful. The sites are pull-throughs and easy to maneuver into. Laundry facilities are available although we did not inspect them. We highly recommend the associated Outdoor Living Center RV Dealership, located a mile or so away on the other side of the Interstate. We were very pleased with their service on our Newmar Dutch Star. Cons: A busy highway passes in front and the Interstate is close by. Thus there is a fair amount of traffic noise. The sites are gravel and very close together. The water connections are below ground in a water meter type box. There was a heavy rain the night we stayed. The next morning it was obvious the water box had flooded since my hose connection and pressure regulator were covered in a thin muddy film We camped here in a Motorhome.

Campground is an older one. Sites are a bit narrow, but the staff is friendly, and they have the best cable of all our stays . Many channels to choose from and clear connections. This is a perfect overnight stopover, or a place where you can stay for a short visit. It is quiet, and convenient to just about everything in the area. Convenient to the interstate. Well maintained park with friendly excellent staff. Sites are close together, but considering the park was designed prior to 'big rigs' and multiple slides it is close to the Interstate and provides a comfortable overnight experience. We actually stayed a 2nd night, and would stay again should the opportunity arise. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Good location, but too narrow for a rig with slides. Although we could keep our toad hooked up, our driver's side slide covered 1/2 the neighbor's picnic table. I apologized, but could not pull any further to the right or I would be on the grass (a park no-no). Nice folks run it, and it backs up to woods, through which is a lake, but the shoreline is so badly littered that it is dangerous. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Easy access from I-40, very friendly welcome. This is a small, older privately-owned park with gravel roads & fairly level gravel sites. Sites are full hook-up 50 amp, back-in & pull-through, and free WiFi. Most of the sites seemed long enough to accommodate the “big boys” and their toads and we had sufficient length to fit our supercab, 1-ton dually and 37.5’ fifth wheel. However, these are the narrowest commercial RV park sites we’ve ever experienced in all our 20 some-odd years on the road. (pull-throughs are 18’ wide, back-in’s are 20’ wide). The sites are so narrow that …. (how narrow are they?) … our neighbor’s picnic table sat immediately beneath our bedroom slide out and over our sewer hook up – not a petty picture! Thankfully, we were here in the off-season and had no neighbors during our 8-day stay. If we had had a neighbor with slides deployed, using our awning would have been a pipe-dream. Picnic tables are not provided at all sites, which is a mixed blessing, considering the circumstances. There are lovely trees by the office, common room and bordering the lake-side of the park, but there is very sparse landscaping among the actual campsites - a scruffy strip of grass separates each site and there are a meager few scrawny trees here and there. The laundry is adequate, the showers & restrooms, although apparently clean, are a bit on the spooky side – -with a small, dark corner-shower draped with a cheery vinyl curtain. A small gas heater gurgles busily on the wall. The very large common room is nicely appointed with a small kitchen and tables & chairs. There is quite a bit of “low-traffic rumble” both from nearby I-40 and SR 7, one of the main surface streets that runs right by the front of the campground. At times, the noise is consistent & grating – lots of big construction vehicles and heavy dump trucks back & forth starting early and ending late. The park is on the shores of Lake Dardanelle although there is no access to the lake from the park – a thick swampy bramble separates the campers from the water’s edge. There is a municipal boat launch just up the road a bit from the park. This small, privately-owned park is in a nice community. There is a Super Wal-Mart, Krogers and several small, neighborhood markets within a 20-mile radius. There are lots of interesting things to do, as well as a huge lake to explore. Getting around is easy, mostly accessed from one of four exits on I-40. [By the way, if you happen to be approaching this area from the east on I-40, be sure and stop at the Arkansas Visitor’s Center at about milepost 3. You’ll find just about everything you ever wanted to know about the state from a friendly knowledgeable host – free coffee, of course.] The on-site park managers are very friendly & helpful. While we were there, they were having a hard time keeping the WiFi going – it was excellent about 90% of the time, then it would simply not work at all. They sincerely apologized and tried diligently to keep the signal on – with success most of the time. [Some of their equipment was probably older and not designed for the capacity of folks that use it.] This place is jammed in the summer – reservations are a must!! This park is “good enough” – definitely not a destination park, but the rate is reasonable for this popular area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a no frills campground. We stayed here a month, and while there aren't any frills, they do allow mail. The atmosphere is relaxed and calm. It is clean, and quiet. The management is friendly, and helpful. We would return to this campground if we are in the area again. Cable TV is good. Lots of stations. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice, clean park. Truly "Big-Rig Friendly" with internet satellite view to the S/W. No frills, however we certainly will stay here again. We are fulltimers and look for this kind of overnight park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed two weeks because the truck broke down. The staff made us feel 100% welcome and went out of their way to help out. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
