A bit hard to find because the address on (non rv park) web site is wrong. Well worth the trouble. Owner and manager went out of their way to accommodate us and even loaned me their battery charger. No club discounts and no credit cards but a great value. Excellent place for an overnight rest and even for a long term stay. Only a few permanent residents and the park was run well. Surrounded by farm fields and we felt very safe. We camped here in a Motorhome.
As mentioned previously this is primarily a gravel parking lot behind the owner's house. Having said that it's a good place for an over nighter. Wi-Fi worked well and cable worked despite some dirty connectors. Some road noise from highway but not a big problem. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
First time we stayed in a "self-service" park. Lots of rules to follow posted all over everything. Pull-through area was just a big gravel open lot. Plenty big, though, for our 40' coach. Half the sites or better were full of long-termers. Good for an one night stand. Easy in and easy out. On the highway, US67 toward St. Louis, but quiet at night, very low traffic. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a good campground as a stop over on your way somewhere. There is nothing in the way
of tourism around and the campground is a little cramped. The owner is very friendly and willing to help. It is mostly gravel with some grass. It is right on the highway but is good as a stop over night and is very reasonably priced. Places to eat close. Good access. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
