Getting to this park from the freeway took some doing, but we felt it was worth it. Tucked along a creek with deer strolling in the park in the evening, it was very relaxing after a long day on the road. The park appeared to be in the process of updating facilities and cabins. The manager was very friendly. It is very rustic. WiFi did not work for us, but we did get some TV stations. We just overnighted, but would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park is old and not well kept. The streets and parking sites are rough rock. There are small broken concrete pads next to the parking space. It would have been alright for a single night if we had not deemed the electrical hookups unsafe even if we used our surge protector. The electrical boxes were in disrepair and did not have circuit breakers. Also, the sewer connections did not have caps covering them when not in use. We pulled in and soon left since we didn't want to take a chance on damage to our rig from the electrical box. With the August heat and no shade the air conditioner was going to be a necessity. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
