This is our new favorite RV park on Vancouver Island. Quite remote, adjacent to a large park with nice trails, it's very relaxing and quiet. The rate includes taxes and the extra fee for WiFi ($2/day rsp. $6/week) which was excellent, stable and fast. We stayed in one of the two brand new group campsites, where 12 sites are arranged in a circle (no shade). Compacted gravel made for a very easy to level site, the hookups were well arranged and lots of room to get in and out (back-in). The cable wasn't activated yet but I heard from other campers about the long list of channels available. The other sites are nicely arranged in a forest, each one well apart from the other. There is a fishing pond and a newly built BBQ area with a large shelter nearby. The owner has put a lot of thoughts in the development of the park and is still not done. His goal is to have 190 sites available in a few years. The only downside I can find is the distance (about 10 km) to shopping. We'll be back soon! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Watch out for the chickens on the park road. Roads and sites are gravel. Our site was level and surrounded by mature trees and an attractive landscape. Water connection a hassle due to anti-siphon valves on taps. My pressure reducer has a filter screen which gets pushed in by these devices. Office open after 3pm, but had to make several trips (no one in office) before I could register. Cable TV has extensive selection and most channels were clear. Wi-Fi (costs extra)signal was strong. Adjacent to Seal Bay Regional Park which has walking trails. Nice walk around the RV park pond. The owners are currently building a clubhouse. It should be a nice addition to an attractive park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
