Nothing fancy, but wide and long pull throughs, great views of the surrounding mountains in the distance. Grassy sites and nice fire pits. Very friendly staff. Just 25 km from Golden and 50 km from Yoho. Very quiet, almsot no noise of road or trains! Good value for money, we stayed here with PPAmerica discount. Certainly will come back when passing by. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a clean & quiet park. It's nothing fancy but the sites are roomy and the utilities are well located and in good condition. There are mountain views in the distance. The owners are pleasant and helpful. There is easy access for big rigs in most sites. They have both tent & RV sites. We had a pleasant stay here and would return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a nice park, far enough off the highway to be quiet with no nearby railways. The facilities are good, well maintained and clean. The laundry was inexpensive. Sites are a mix of shaded and sunny, so satellite access is easy. The campground is mid-way between the excellent national parks of Glacier and Yoho. Our rate is the Passport America 50% discount, but even at the full rate, this place is a bargain. We would certainly stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
While not particularly fancy, this was a very pleasant and convenient place to stay for a few days while visiting nearby Yoho National Park. It was peaceful and quiet with grass/dirt sites that did the job well enough. The owners seem to live on site and were very pleasant when we checked in. We have a 43' motorhome, and even though the sites are pull-through, making the turn to get into any of them can be pretty tight due to the trees separating each site (retired bus driver here, so it wasn't me). We are Passport America members, so we got the 1/2 price rate, which was a good bargain. We would definitely stay here again, since it's the best deal going if you're a PA member - even cheaper than the provincial parks, but with full hook-ups. We camped here in a Motorhome.
