Upon arrival we had to pick a site as caretaker was not home (even though a sign said to see her first). Most of the sites are grass back-ins with little privacy in between. The campground has a view of the lake, but is at least 100 ft away from the shoreline. Power and water worked fine. No sewer, but sani dump available nearby for an extra $5 and caretaker has to unlock it. No cable TV, but satellite TV worked fine from our site (#21). Wi-Fi signal was good. Within walking distance of the village and the SS Moyie. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is an excellent campground with an excellent hostess. You can request overflow and camp on the lake shore. Considering this is in the city, it is a completely quiet campground. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Small park right on the edge of downtown Kaslo. Next to city park with playground and across the street from Kootenay Lake public access. Free showers. Dump station nearby ($5.00) We camped here in a Motorhome.
