Have camped here several times with friends and always had fun. We stayed in a double site which was a perfect size for our large group. They have good bathrooms with hot water and decent facilities for a provincial campground and ample outhouses for those late night visits. There are great hiking paths near by with Alloutte Lake a short hike away. We camped here in a Tent.

Beautiful setting, and lots of good hiking trails. The lake is nice also. The reason for the "3" is the following. First, we were at the beach and the police showed up and went through everyone's coolers, even families with children. Sort of ruined the afternoon. (Ironically, while this was going on, back at the campsite someone stole our hitch cover and all of our neighbors food and beverages.) It seems as if hooligans have been a problem at this park. Secondly, the site next to ours had at least 20 people in it, and they were loud till 3AM. A mention of this to a park staffer in the morning brought a shrug of shoulders. Thirdly, people coming up to visit us, even though we had told staff they were coming, had to wait for 45 minutes before they gave up and left. Finally, the firewood was soaking wet. I guess this park is so popular since it's easily accessible from Vancouver, but we won't stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

A beautiful but chilly park with coolish sites shaded heavy by trees. There is a downhill walk to the beach on a gravel path. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
