Typical park along the highway with a bit of road noise and gravel roads and sites. Sites are not very level. Sewer, water & electrical hookups are convenient. WiFi is free, but slow. Bathrooms are freshly painted, clean, spacious and offer plenty of hooks and shelves. This is an OK place for a night along the way. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a great RV Park/Campground. We got a pull through, but could not leave the tow vehicle attached and still make all the connections. I probably need to get a longer sewer hose and would not have had this problem. The spaces were fairly level with a picnic bench at each site. It is close to the main highway and traffic noise is apparent but not to the point that it distracts from enjoying the RV Park. The mangers were helpful and talkative. Everything was clean and picked up. There is a pool for the summer months. We did not use the Showers/Restroom on our stay. We would recommend this location and would stay here again if in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a nice park with friendly hosts. The campground was clean, level sites and pull-through sites. Nice little 'nature walk' for the dog. The swimming pool looked clean and people were using it.which is a good sign. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Upon arriving here we found out that our reservation for a full hookup was not going to be honoured as the park was full. We were offered a temporary site which was water and electric. The water tap was broken and after informing the owner he managed to get us a full hookup site after all. Our site was a 30 amp back-in that was in need of more gravel for the parking pad. It was sloped down towards the back and was not level. There was a concrete patio with a table and fire ring as well. Most of the tables appeared either warped or in need of a paint job. Most of the back-in sites around the campground perimeter were very short (30 feet) and the space between these sites were grass. No privacy at all and barely enough room for awnings. No cable TV at our site, but it was available at some of the pull-through sites near the office. I could only get one TV channel off the antenna due to interference from a power line that was overhead our site. Wi-Fi was too weak at our site to connect to the internet so I had to hike up to near the office where I could sit down at a table and connect up. There is a hiking trail next to the park that extends 15 miles north and connects up with other trails in the city. We would not return here as this park is not as good as another park we usually stay at in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The owners/operators have sold the land, but are operating the facility for another few years until the developers decide on building plans for a new commercial operation. Hence, the general upkeep and maintenance of the facilities are very poor. Things are falling apart (ie walkways, pool deck, tables, playground) and they are NOT going to repair them. Already half of the sites have been abandoned and because of the Pine Beetle Epidemic many of the trees have been harvested eliminating the last vestiges of charm that once made this campground so popular. We won't be going back. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

Overall an excellent place, clean and tidy. The cable for TV did not work at our location and the man at the office did not appear to believe us, so hard to say if it was fixed or not. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

After reading comments on this park, I was leery of staying here. It is OK for an overnight stop. Sits are narrow with enough room for slides but cramped for doing BBQ. Power and water were adequate and cable was nice since the trees blocked our satellite reception. The park is near the highway but road noise was not a problem at night. It looked like most of the sites were occupied with longer term people. The park was clean but rustic. The bathrooms were clean but could use better lighting. It did rain a while and did not puddle up. We would probably look for another place if in the area again but would be willing to stay here if other options did not work out. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Tight spaces. We had to jockey to clear our neighbor's slides. Dusty and undesirable for us. We won't stay again. Wi-Fi worked for us because we were up front. No ability to get satellite internet service. I saw one couple sitting on a bench near the office to get Wi-Fi. If you're in need of RV service, Happy Trails RV Sales & Service did an outstanding job for us. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice provincial park. As others have stated it has paved roads, some flush toilets, nice beach and several walking trails. The sites are private and the park appears to be a mostly family park. The lake is used for everything form water skiing to fishing so be prepared to share. The cabins on the other side of the lake seem to keep to themselves or only use the middle of the lake for their water sports. The only confusing part appeared to be the reserved/available system used for reservable sites. This leads to a lot of stress when the park is nearly full and sites appear to be available. Hopefully this gets sorted out. We would stay here again and would NOT reserve a site. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very beautiful place to camp. The sites are a fair size and are private. They have a wonderful play area for the kids, a nice boat launch, and a great beach as well. We would stay here again for sure. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This park is 40 miles east of Prince George on Hwy 16. It is 2 miles off the main highway so it's quiet from highway noise. This is a water-activity park on a beautiful large lake. There is a boat launch, swim beach, large day use area, some hiking. The campground is comprised of two loops. Most sites were suitable for our 40' motorhome and car. The roads are paved and sites are gravel with tables and firepits. There is a dump station. What was really wierd was walking through a heavily forested area to the typical-looking "out houses". When you opened the door, the toilets are flush!! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We had chosen this RV park because of its RV power wash; however, when we got here it was turned off for the season. There are new owners & I'm not sure if they understand the importance of that feature for those coming out of Alaska & northern BC. I also am not sure why the price would be significantly higher than during the summer months. We would probably stay here again as there are no other choices this close to downtown Prince George. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate shown is with Good Sam discount. Access road off the highway has a bit of a bump where the pavement meets the gravel. Site was a fairly level gravel back-in. Power was 30 amp; water and power worked fine. The sewer connection was a real pain as the intake pipe was almost a foot off the ground. It took a bit of work to get my sewer hose flowing in the right direction. A new addition is an insulated box with a heat lamp to keep the water line warm in the winter as this park is now open all year round. Excellent cable TV and Wi-Fi signal strong, although slow at times due to traffic. Noise from highway is noticeable at times, but not annoying. Garbage dumpsters are located some distance from the RV sites. We would return here as this park has consistently been our favourite one in the Prince George area for many years. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Spent 2-nights in this park and was very satisfied with the laundry facilities and nice flat sites. If only the road were not gravel and kicked up dust all would be great. Wi-Fi worked well. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We spent two nights here, not much to do this time of year. The few things available were closed on Mondays. Our only full day in PG. Only electric available this time of year, but the restroom was very clean and showers were free, unlike other parks that charge, and lots of hot water in shower. Only really bad thing is that there is very poor drainage of the water from the melting snow at this time of year which created s real problem when we were leaving. The road for exiting the camp loops was a quagmire and our truck sunk up to the axles and we had to contact our emergency road service to be towed out. The owner was nice enough to refund us our camping fee for both nights because of this problem. We have stayed at this park in 2009 and would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a good park, but not great. The guy that checked us in seemed a little confused. He didn't know what sites were available, and sent me to go look. I picked a site and returned while the wife filled out the paperwork. This is one of the parks that the Alaska Caravan tours stop at, and he seemed kind of put out by that. I don't think he likes working too hard. The sites are pull through and the property slopes downhill away from the office. There is Wi-Fi, but I guess it's better if you get closer to the office. I used a Telus air card that worked well. There are good shade trees and decent space between the sites. The restrooms are older but in good shape, and the laundry in new but pricey. Both are definitely not handicap accessible. The restrooms are down a set of 6 concrete steps, and the laundry is up a set of 9 wooden steps. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Found the sites narrow, even though they were pull through. Close to one another. Supposed dog run area was a roughed in trail into the woods which was not good to let dog off leash. Operator seemed a little strange. Don't think we would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
