Stayed here off season, so no staff support. Right by landfill, so some noise and some smell with the wind blowing the "wrong" way. Lots of coyotes and trees and some full timers. Two beach access points across the street, one a trail. Walking distance to town - less than 2 miles one way. Would be a nice place for kids or a family gathering. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Pretty average, comfortable place, no activities. Staff was friendly and do their best. Dated washrooms but clean. Quiet campground. Great for those who want to sit back and read and relax. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Good site. There is lots of room between sites and lots of trees for privacy. There is a small beach across the street but you are better off heading to Porpoise Bay Provincial Park if you want a good beach to hang out on. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
Nice place for powered sites near Porpoise Bay Provincial Park. Sites are gravel and mostly level. Excellent privacy and space. Staff was extremely accommodating - they weren't officially open yet gave us a gate key and let us stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Access to park entrance difficult if driving in from the north as highway is busy and turning left into park may take awhile. Park road gravel. Most sites dirt with grass. Our site was gravel and level. Only 1 full hookup site with stream view; the rest were tent sites. The swimming pool was closed for the season. Cable TV had good channel selection and clear picture. Okay for an overnight stay, but I wouldn't want to stay much longer. We camped here in a Motorhome.
