Some large sites. Our total length is 63' and we fit into site 77 with plenty of room to spare. Absolutely beautiful park with plenty of beach areas. Great hiking...our favorite was to Margaret Falls--a short and fairly easy walk to beautiful falls. For the more advanced hiker, take the canyon trail...a good hike with spectacular views of the lake. Only downside--trees along the roads and entrance to some sites need trimming. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We camped here on the Labour Day Long Weekend. We reserved our site 3 months in advance, because this is one very busy and popular campground. It was full right from Friday until Sunday, when most of the Albertians headed home. The firewood is $5/bundle and very dry. There is a wonderful hiking trail to the Waterfall. There is a Sani-dump on site, and pipestands (water spigots) are all over the campground. We are planning on returning next year. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
Clean, green and wooded campground on big lake. Marginally big-rig friendly. Half of the campground will really challenge a large motorhome or fifth wheel (we did get through with a 34' fifth wheel, but it was tight). The other half of the campground is easily big-rig friendly, but not as wooded. Still there are sites creekside and lakeside there as well. Good site spacing for good privacy. Quiet and very nicely maintained. Really wonderful waterfall just a short and lovely walk outside the campground. Don't miss it. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
