The park host (PH) was great. He helped us get into our space with ease. The Wi-Fi was a little weak, hence the 9. We also had to pack out our car and camp each night to avoid bears being attracted to our camp. Very clean park as PH kept it clean and no trash allowed at camp because of attracting animals. Close to town and Gull lake. They have a fish cleaning station and a community deep-freeze if you want to freeze your catch. We would return here. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We stayed for 3 days in early June, before the summer season kicked in. The sites are a very good size and are clean and level. They are gravel, not grass, but the cleanliness outweighs the lack of grass for us. The bathrooms and showers were immaculate, with plenty of hot water. They are dog friendly, which is a VERY important feature for us. They don't have baggies or a separate dog area, though. But the attitude toward the dogs is very positive. There are a lot of people who are repeat visitors and who are there for an extended period of time. They all seemed very friendly and extended a warm welcome to us "weekenders". We've run into a lot of places where the long term residents are not very nice to the short timers. Here we felt like part of the gang immediately. It's a fairly small park: 24 spaces, without a lot of extras. There's a communal area with horseshoes, but no pool or kids' play area. But the reason to go to June Lake is not the RV park, it's the lakes and fishing and hiking. This park has easy access to all of these. It's within a block of Gull Lake and 3 blocks of June Lake. The town of June Lake is about 2 blocks away, too. So you can walk everywhere. We enjoyed the campground manager a lot. He's the type of guy who helps you park the rig and then hangs out to chat. If you're sitting around in the afternoon he'll drop by just to say hi. He was also a great resource on the best place to get pizza in town and made sure that we had the locals' 10% off coupon. Some people might feel that he was intrusive, but we thought he was fun. If we go back to this area we will certainly stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We have camped at this park for past couple of years and think it is a great place. The host, is super helpful and very friendly. The park is kept VERY clean. We personally disagree with ALL of the negative comments posted by the previous commenter from August 2011. We did not have any issues with noise and enjoyed the camaraderie of the other campers. The community campfires were fun and we enjoyed spending an evening by the fire. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
PROS: Family-owned with pride of ownership. Clean restrooms: showers with adequate hot water. Fish cleaning area, horse shoes, community fire pits and tables and a deep freeze for common use. Close to June Village and the Gull Lake Marina. Mature pines that offer shade to parts of most sites (however, only a few sites don't take the sun either A.M. or P.M.). Gravel covered sites and drives. Pet friendly. Many very nice happy campers. CONS: Very noisy around the office area & entire park due to loud camp manager. Selective dogs are allowed to roam off leash (and do their business where they will, with clean-up often missed). Quiet time is not always enforced before 7 A.M. and after 10 P.M. Particularly during campfire guitar sing-alongs in community area: which backs up to about six spaces. On occasion the noise went on until midnight. Campers are not always warned by the manager that this camp is in bear country and that no food, coolers with food, or trash should be left outside. And there are no warning signs posted. (Oh sure, it's in the rules and regulations, but when was the last time you read those when you checked in after a long day on the road? And how about if you are from another country and don't read English?) Due to many campers being unaware, there was a great deal of loud, bad-bear activity at the park in the middle of the night. It was sad as three bears have had to be shot this season in the area. The gravel is okay but some grass would be a nice addition. Many of the spaces are rented long term and a few of those people are very social, day & night, which means the camping sounds are clicking ice cubes, loud laughter, or yelling between camp sites, rather than the birds and squirrels. You can forget a quiet read or listening to your own music even inside your own rig. We have been camping here for a number of years and will not return until the current manager is replaced and the park gets quiet again. (And by the way, the noise of kids playing IS part of camping and we enjoy it. Some dog barking is expected as well.) In previous years with different camp hosts, I would have given Golden Pine a ten every time. This year I would give it a one. So I will split it down the middle and rate it a five. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We stayed here a week in Site#1: probably best site at this park. Electric, sewer and water all good. The water pressure was TOO good, use your regulator. Cable TV with plenty of channels, we used a portable Dish to sight in DirecTV, some sites would allow Roof top dishes. A quick note: June and Gull Lakes are known for fishing so early morning traffic seems rather what someone might fully expect here. Although with that being said, we were on the street and the morning traffic was never even heard and I sleep with the bedroom window open! It's a quiet park with gravel sites. The host is always ready to help out and keep things running smoothly. Had a few near sightings during our stay but that's all part of the great outdoors. Let me also emphasize this: we normally have 4 small doggies, on this trip we had an additional larger dog that we babysit. This Park is extremely Dog Friendly, yet there are no issues with this feature (ie, excessive barking, surprise packages left behind). We will return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great place between Gull Lake and June Lake, a short walking distance from the Gull Lake marina and restaurants and shops in June Lake. The host was a great guy: helped us back into the spot, always greeted us by our names, and even invited us to sit around the campfire while he sang and played guitar. He was pretty good at it!! Will definitely consider staying here next year. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We booked months ago, but got a little worried after seeing the last review. We knew there would be mosquitoes (being between two lakes in the Sierras) but were concerned about the other complaints. However, we found that there were only a few mosquitoes and used repellant, we had no problem getting our 32 ft trailer in, and the park staff was very helpful. They have 30 amp service, but not sure if they actually have 50 amp power. They don’t advertise that they do, so one can’t fault them for false expectations. Spaces were decent size and had a table and fire pit. We never heard anyone revving engines or making any other noise when leaving to go fishing. The campground was very quiet actually. Bathrooms/showers were spotless and there was a playground down the street by Gull Lake. Close to a couple shops, a swim beach, and a marina with boat rentals. Gas down the road and propane at a nearby campground (50% cheaper than at the gas station). Looked at nearby parks with hookups and we’ll definitely stay here again next time. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
In spite of what RV park reviews says, this park does not have pull through sites and is very limited for large rigs. In order to park our 40' motorhome here (in the largest spot which they had) we had to leave the park, go down the road, turn around, come in the exit and back into the site. It was really tight. This "largest spot" also did not have 50 amp service. But one thing it did have was lots of mosquitoes. It is basically a fisherman's paradise, and they are leaving day and night, revving up their engines and dragging away their boats. Peace and quiet it is not. We would not return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This was a great find in June Lake with Gull Lake just a short walk. The staff was very helpful with information on local events etc. Several places to eat and shop in town. The spaces are 28ft wide with a picnic bench and fire ring. Most of the sites have shade. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
What a great find in June Lake. This park is under new management. The staff was very helpful offering information on local events, places to eat, fish etc. The spaces are 28 ft wide and gravel. They now offer WiFi. I would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is the kind of park we like, but it is not for everyone. It isn't new, but the facilities are clean and so is the park. The sites are gravel with a little bit of grass. The sites are not overly large, but rigs with slideouts fit just fine. It is a small park, hidden from town and about a block from Gull Lake, and it is an easy walk to the lake. The manager and his daughter are helpful and guided us into our site with ease. We did look at other parks around June Lake after we arrived, and decided that on our next trip to the area, we will continue to make our reservations at Golden Pine RV Park. Don't let the looks of the park keep you from staying there. It was quiet at night, and we found it to be a very relaxing stay. We camped there for 5 nights over the 4th of July weekend. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Having lived in June Lake for 18 years and finding out we had sold our house we needed a place to stay. Since our motor home was too big to stay in our driveway, I started to think about an RV park that had full hookups. I had never been in Golden Pine RV Park but had passed by it numerous times. The park is located in the Village and a short walk to a bakery, deli, post office, restaurants and numerous other small businesses. At night the town rolls up and it’s very quiet although the Tiger Bar, Sierra Inn and the Double Eagle all have a bar if that‘s your thing. Gull lake is just down the road with a marina and store. In the mornings we sat outside to have coffee in the sun and plan our day. When the wind would come up we were tucked in by the trees and a small hill. It was a very comfortable spot, although the sites are close together there was enough room to open all of our slides and put out the awning. Our site wasn’t completely level but we had no problems leveling our MH. There’s a laundry room, bathroom and shower, but since we’re self contained we didn’t use them . Good water, power and sewer, no problems. It’s not a resort, but it had everything we needed to be comfortable. No pool here but June Lake has a beach and a swimming area that’s roped off. Most of the time the park was deserted during the day with people out fishing, hiking and sightseeing. The area we were in had gravel, a small picnic table and the park seemed to be well maintained. Friendly management and helpful. We opted to stay for a month at $600.00 since there wouldn’t be a bed tax added in. Verizon just put in a tower so we had cell and Aircard service. We were able to use our rooftop satellite which surprised us since there’s lots of trees. All in all this turned out to be a good choice. We’ll stay here again when we’re here to visit friends and do a little fishing. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We paid two nights in advance for this place which is supposedly right on June Lake. What a nightmare. We could barely get our 25' motorhome in there, and the spaces were packed so tight you could hear the people 5 spaces away yelling at their kids. It also backs up to a motel parking lot which of course USFS neglects to mention on their reservation site. We left, abandoning our already-paid for spot. Do not stay here unless you really want to get to know everyone around you, you don't need hookups, and you have a REALLY small rig. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Our stay at June Lake RV Park was very nice. We were a little concerned following the directions to the park, thinking we were going the wrong way. But the directions they give you are the best way for RVs to go: taking into consideration the tight turns, trees, power lines, etc. The host was as friendly and helpful as can be. Making sure we got the best experience from our stay. The sites are nestled in the trees with a very short walk to the lake and to town. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Another reviewer said that if you have over 35' coach don't even try. Not true! Ours is 40' and so were the other 2 families that went with us. There was plenty of room for our 40' 5th wheel and truck. We look forward to many happy returns. We camped here in a Motorhome.

It had all the hookups and a nice level site. It was real close to Gull Lake, which is a really nice lake. And there was a super cute marina at the lake where they would have a campfire for the people coming early in the morning. I would go there walking my dog. It was also walking distance to town. There were nice pine trees in the campground giving it a nice setting. The owner was nice, pleasant, and helpful. There is another campground close by that gets real good reviews and to me it wasn't really any better than this one, and it was closer to a semi busy street. The only two negatives I can think of were that they didn't have any bathrooms and showers, which is not really a big deal when you have that in your RV. The only other thing they should have available which they don't, are doggie bags. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Not all sites had 30 amp, and the owners did not know which sites only had 20 amp. Did not enjoy our stay and would only stay again if everything else was taken. We camped here in a Motorhome.
In the trees but houses all around and some pretty rundown. Staff friendly. I thought a bit overpriced, short walk to lake but cannot see it from CG. There are others in the area nicer I thought. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We were pleasantly surprised. The spots are very near one another but provided shade, a nice BBQ, full hookups with cable. The owners were very friendly. Just a short walk to Gull Lake Marina, a great place to watch the sunset. Also there is a play ground for the kids. We will certainly go back. Great Rate too! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This was our first visit to this RV Park. The host was very friendly and wanted to help get us into our spot. She came by many times to check on us and to see if we needed anything. The campsite was clean and the surrounding area was very beautiful. We will go back and camp here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a good trailer park if you are here to fish. It is very close to June Lake. Otherwise, it has nothing going for it. Staff was very good, but absolutely no view except your neighbor a few feet away. They were nice enough to let us move after one night and refunded our money. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Nice park. very shady. The customer service was great. they also had laundry room. Only bad things is there dumpster needed to be empty over flowing. Other than that is was a very nice clean park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I'm having a really tough time reviewing this one. On the one hand, I have really good feelings about the staff and the experience we had. But on the other is just the location and the accessability to and from the park are just poor. If you have anything more than a 35'er, don't bother. You're just not getting it around the local streets or getting it into one of the park's sites. There's also no real good place to hook/unhook a toad other than the town streets which, fortunately aren't very busy. That being said, it's a gorgeous area. We had fun walking into town for dinner. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Utilities all worked well but as others have noted, bring extensions for water, electrical & cable as you may be located far from these outlets. While everyone in the park was well behaved, keep in mind that the majority of the structures in the area are rental units as well. Someone had their music on fairly loud, but fortunately not very late. The other thing to remember is there isn't a lot to choose from in the area. There are two other RV parks that I saw on the "June Lake Loop" which didn't look any different. There is also Oh Ridge which is in a beautiful setting but has no hookups. So, decide what's important to you before you go. We camped here in a Truck Camper.
Owners were great! Helped us into our sight, provided extension cord/extra water hose as the hookups were far away from the trailer. However, be prepared for the sights to be VERY close together. Had we been there to relax and hang out instead of seeing the sights our view would have been the hookup side of one trailer and the main side of another. For what we were there for (fishing, hiking) and for the short time (3 days) it was a fine place to stay since we just slept there. Not sure if we'd stay there again due to the closeness of the sites giving it the lack of "ambience" that is June Lake and that area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a small, quiet family run RV park within walking distance to both June and Gull lake marinas. Short walk up the hill to the Tiger Bar for food and drink, or the town general store for your supply needs. Bagged ice, small laundry room and even a fish cleaning station on the premises. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great park. Owners are very helpful and met us when we arrived (they even helped us level our trailer). They offered extra hose and cable line if we needed it. Walking distance to Gull Lake and local market. We stayed with our 3 children and had a blast. Will make this an annual trip like many other campers we met. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
First time at this park. About 1/2 mile to Gull Lake Marina, .75 to June Lake. Some sites have grass and all have cable TV, about 62 channels. Manager is very helpful and friendly. Only downside is no restroom and no showers, have to use your own.
Really enjoyed the park and would return. Stayed here in June 2003. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Great place for boondocking. Pick your site on Google Earth so you know it's level and long enough. Some lake views. Most are shorter sites. Water in every "loop". Dump station at entrance $7. Cheap if you are "older" with pass. Back side away from lake is usually open and very few use it so if you want to be away from them all go here. Still has good mountain views. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Enjoyed our stay here. The maintenance staff was wonderful, helping to cut down a branch that was interfering with my slide out. Only rated a 7, however, because there were no showers and the sites are very close together. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Nice park; some sites have a lake view. There are a few sites with shade, but most are open. Can get a bit dusty if there is traffic. Nice lake access and nice beach. Camp was almost empty in October and is nice if you want quiet. Wood was for sale on site. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very clean and well maintained Park. Our site (#30) was in the Duck loop and the site was roomy, paved and level but did not have any shade. I believe the best site in Duck loop would be site #27 which has a large shade tree adjacent to the site and also has a terrific view of the lake (according to the Camp Host this is a very popular site!). Plenty to do; fishing, boating, bike riding, hiking, lake swimming or just relaxing. The only negative to our visit was that our RV (inside and out), clothes and dogs were soon covered in the fine powdery dust as mentioned by a previous reviewer. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great staff. Very helpful and nice. Park is under new management company. One morning the men's restroom in our loop was clogged and overflowing. Was fixed and cleaned in under an hour. Restrooms are older but kept clean even though the campground was full over the weekend. Each site is raked, cleaned, swept and prepared between check out and check in. First time i've ever seen this. Be prepared for a very fine powdery dirt though! It will get everywhere and it is impossible to stay clean but it's camping so we didn't mind. No shower houses but you can use the coin showers next to the general store at the Pine Cliff Resort down the street from 8:00am - 8:00pm. $1.00 for 5-7 minutes. Not a lot of trees and some of the loops make you feel far from everything but overall a great little dry camping campground that is pretty central to some of the best trout fishing around. We enjoyed our stay here and will be back but probably will look more in the Bear loop (non-reservable) or the Duck Loop (reservable). They seemed closer to the exit road with some nice views of June Lake. Our nightly rate reflects a disability discount. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Practically empty during our end of September visit and the solitude was wonderful. Cool, quiet and with a choice of sites, all with pleasant views and tons of space. The concessionaire kept the restrooms clean and the dump station was in good repair. If dry camping suits your style, this high altitude campground will not disappoint. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a very scenic campground near June Lake. The mountain views are absolutely stunning. The beach area is a long walk or a short drive from the campground. The camp hosts were very nice. We didn't have a reservation and the host drove us over to an area where he knew there were first come first serve sites available. The roads and sites are all paved. The site we stayed in was level and had a shaded picnic table, fire ring/BBQ, and a bear-proof food locker. The bathrooms were spotless. They do not have showers. We had to dump at the Shell station on Hwy 395 for $7.00. The campground is close to the town of June Lake as well. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is one of our favorite places to camp, since it's close to dozens of fishing lakes and has opportunities for day trips to Yosemite, Mono Lake, Mammoth, and other Eastern Sierra sights. The view to the west of Carson Peak is fabulous. The sites are spaced out in numerous loops, and each loop has its own (clean) restroom facilities. The campground is close to a private campground that has a great store and pay showers, open to visitors. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
This is a National Forest park that we just love to stay at. No hookups or showers but a real nice place to rough it, if staying in a 34ft. fifth wheel for a week without hookups can be called roughing it. There is a private campground just a short walk or drive away that has pay showers you can use and up the road there is a dump station if needed. We have found with care and a portable tank for our gray water that we can get by nicely for a week. The campground sits up on a bluff over looking the lake. It can get a bit breezy in the late afternoon but it keeps the biting bugs at bay and cools things off on a warm day. Most of the sites are roomy and some have trees for shade. This is a great base camp for exploring the Sierras, fishing the many lakes in the area, or just relaxing with a book. A family favorite! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
People were friendly and the camphost was very nice. The sites sit on top of a hill and look out over June Lake. I would return back to this campground again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We checked in and the woman in the office gave us two different sites- neither would accommodate our 30 ft travel trailer. We finally had to find our own site with the help of another worker at the camp- she really had no idea what rig would fit in to what site. There are just a ton of pine trees all over the park and the roads are not marked very well. The whole place is fine powdery dirt and hard to keep your rig clean. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Sites are jammed together, concrete patio slab at our site was broken in several pieces some of which were sticking up into the air with sharp edges exposed. There is no dump station and all sewer hookups are at the extreme back of the back-in sites and not accessible to our type of rig. Manager scolding and rude when I asked about a site with an accessible sewer hookup. Showers are very old, poorly maintained and smelling of mildew. I had a terrible experience and would never stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Pine Cliff may look nice on-line, but once you get there it's like sardines squished into a can with all the other trailers. We had to squeeze our slide out in between pine trees. The size of your campsite is smaller than an apartment balcony! They do offer full hookups, but ours was only 30 amps, and we could not run two A/C units on our rig at once. They offer an old basketball court, horseshoes, and some old Little Tykes play equipment for the kids 3 and younger. The roads are all dirt or gravel, so bike riding or scooters for the kids is not great. Another campground next door is far nicer and has a lake view! Any campground in Mammoth Lakes without hook ups is way better! We will never stay here again! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Stayed here for a week over the Fourth of July. We had spot #63 and it was great. Huge rock mountain behind the site and a much larger space than most of the other ones. The campsite is nice, if a bit dusty. There are plenty of mosquitos so bring spray. The store was stocked well, and the people were nice. Ice cream socials on Thursdays, which was a big plus as well. I will come back here for sure. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
I have been coming to Pine Cliff since I was a little kid. Friendly staff and great camp site for the family. Three words that make this camp site so unique: "Ice Cream Social!" Delicious! We camped here in a Motorhome.

The staff was nice but not real smart about the facilities. We camped in a motorhome and an Airstream travel trailer. They tried to put the Airstream between two trees that were 8 feet apart. Needless to say we had a problem. After quite a bit a negotiating we were able to park the Airstream. The Motorhome was easier but we were cramped. The park is old BUT is in a great setting. We would come back BUT we now know what sites to ask for. Check out the site map on the web site. It is not to scale but it will help you figure what sites will be best for your rig. Good Luck. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The only reason I am even giving this place a 3 is because of the setting. The 'resort' website states that just about every site has a view of the lake, which I was also told when I called. Completely false. There is no view, unless you walk down the boat ramp. We arrived at the resort with little welcome from the incredibly rude front desk staff, but also had to stand around and wait for 20 minutes while they chatted amongst themselves. Once we finally got our spot number and drove over to it, we were so confused with the way the spaces were laid out that we had to ask for help. Only to find out that someone else was in our space. They were also confused with the layout of the sites, which is why they were in our spot. Two gentlemen helped us into our new spot, which was very nice of them. However, this is not a 'resort' I would EVER return to. The front office walls are littered with signs about how rude they are, how proud they are to be so rude and about how they don't want to hear you complain, period. Obviously these guys missed the mark in customer service and don't feel they need your business. Mission accomplished. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Not a bad place to relax in a nice rustic setting. Site layout got a bit confusing with our pull through site potentially being blocked by the next site. When we checked in, the place was packed, the roadways were not marked clearly and it looked as if a rig was camped on one of the roads. This caused me to drive into a dead end road. A lot of low branches that park workers attributed to government rules prohibiting pruning. Overall we had a relaxing long weekend of quality family time and fishing. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
A great location along the June Lake loop, the fishing was great "as always." The camp site are close together, and some are a very tight fit. The campground can be very dusty. The park is pet and family friendly, and is close to Mammoth, and close enought for day trips to Yosemite and Bodie Ghost Town. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We had a nice, large shady spot. We rode our bikes to June Lake. Friendly staff, large shaded campground with beautiful rocks in the back. We will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This was the third year we have vacationed here, and we will be back again next summer. Pine cliff resort is beautiful. We enjoy walking to the beaches along the shores of June lake. The campground is a great home base for enjoying activities at all the lakes in the picturesque loop. The staff is helpful and friendly. You know you're on vacation when you enjoy ice cream on the front porch of the general store. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We stay at Pine Cliff almost every year. It is a nice, friendly campground. We love that they have an ice cream social weekly and the ice cream is always good. The general store carries a lot of gift items that are unique. You usually need to book in advance if you want to stay during the summer; it gets pretty full. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We registered for an overnight stay while traveling home from Reno to Lake Elsinore. The starter on our Diesel Pusher failed and left us stranded in the registration parking area, blocking half of the access to the park. The employees were almost all RVers who receive site rent in exchange for 20 hours a week. Friendly all, but limited in authority as you may expect. It was late on Friday and we could only get a tow service without any mechanical expertise. Ron, the owner only asked that we try to get towed out of the driveway as 70 RVs were expected the next day. We got towed to an out of the way location at the edge of the visitor parking area. No hook-ups. It took until Tuesday before a diesel mechanic could come 50 miles from Bishop to diagnose the problem. The new starter was over nighted and installed on Wednesday morning. Ron, refused to charge us for the four additional nights, even though the dry camping fee was $20 a night and we used all facilities. It is a quiet park but we were allowed to use the generator for battery top-off. Very shaded and 20 degrees cooler than the valley below. Perfect summer location with wonderful vistas. Especially if you fish or have kids. Pine Cliff is a family oriented, older, rustic facility with access to June Lakes only swimming beach and what looked to be great fishing. Store is excellent. Showers are one dollar with plenty of change available in store. A couple of the showers didn't work but the ones that did gave a long warm to hot shower (as the sign said ", the best buck ever spent." Park was started in 1956 so air conditioning is limited to only those with special needs. Seems to be patronized by mostly return customers. We plan to spend a long weekend there soon with the grandchildren. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Site is very tight and I only see a few that will fit 40'. Site on gravel but there's a concrete pad and table to the side, which is nice. I read from past reviews indicated that the service was bad but I found to be opposite. People were nice. Check in were pleasant. On Thursday, you can get all the ice cream you can eat for 50 cents a scoop. They have about 10+ flavors you can choose from. If you like lake fishing, this would be a good place to stay. 10 minutes to Mammoth lake and June lake is 100 yard away. Mono lake is also 10 minutes drive. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This Park is in very poor repair and needs maintenance: Our site was flooded from a water pipe break when we arrived as were other spaces. The restrooms and showers were clean but cost $ 1 to $2 to use showers that do not maintain balance of hot and cold. Be prepared for a cold shower in stalls that are in poor condition. We will return to June Lake but not this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very rude owners. We had reservations for one night during July 4th holiday, which we reserved with our credit card. When we arrived they said we should have sent a check and that the person who took our reservations was inexperienced and should have asked us to send a check. They said the park was full and there was nothing they would do. While we were there, one of their visitors came in and asked to move to another site because there was no picnic table. They said take one of the tables near you and he said what will those folks do and they said "that's their problem." These people are so rude and we would never stay there. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Dusty, narrow spots and lots of trees. Camp ground is "fair", but has good access to June Lake. Store on site is well stocked. Staff/hosts are fine *for the most part*, however, it is very family and child friendly so be aware of that if you decide to stay here. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We were very disappointed in this campground. The campground managers were not friendly, it was almost as if we were inconveniencing them with a question. The tent sites were very spacious but near the road to the boat ramp and we were awakened very early each morning. The RV sites looked nicer but very small. The bathrooms were awful and the showers were moldy. We won't be going back. We camped here in a Tent.
As other posters stated, this place is a dump, with a capital D. I wouldn't go back there for any amount of money. Granted we were there on the 4th of July weekend, but it appeared that they wanted to get as many folks in there as possible. The bathrooms were old and decrepit, and dirty. In fact we couldn't use them because of no toilet paper and human waste all over the floor. The showers were semi clean. Again just way too many campers for the facilities. Lastly the dust was terrible, it took me a week to clean all the fine dust out of the trailer. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

Was in the park for about 30 minutes. The staff was very rude. I got my RV stuck in one of their narrow roads. They gave me a site next to a tree and I almost wrapped my RV around it before deciding that I had enouh and went to stay at Oh Ridge. We camped here in a Motorhome.
All I can say is RUDE!! We didn't even stay there, only stopped by to ask questions about the facilities. I was met by the rudest person ever. I asked about their hookups, was stared down and handed a brochure. No hello, oh please come stay, or how can we help you. We will not stay there even if it was free!! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Dirty, very dusty park. Gravel is only on the road next to the office. Other interior roads are soft dirt. RVs are packed together like sardines. The people in the office are the rudest people we have ever met. We did not meet anyone who had a positive experience when we were there. We camped here in a camper.

We have tried this RV Park quite a few times. The attitudes of the owners and employees was very poor. No matter what, the customer is always "wrong". We have met many campers there, that all have had the same feelings. The park is very dusty, and the campsites are very small. We will not be returning to this poorly run campground. We camped here in a camper.
Very nice resort for trout fishing in the Sierra. If you don't fish, well, the scenery is great too. Nice park but they really stack them in. There are some more open sites to the front, but the back rows are very tight. Good news is that they will be happy to let you drop your camper on the road and they will back it in with a forklift for you. Trust me, this is the best deal in town. Watched some guys that wanted to back themselves in and it took an hour and a divorce lawyer. Let the man put your camper in and pull it out for you! Great camp store and cafe on site. Back off the road a bit but well worth it. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We really enjoyed our stay at Silver Lake RV park. Sites can be a bit tight but they got us in an end site with lake view and it was perfect. Just there for two nights so next time we're staying longer. The cabins across creek are very nice as well. Saw lots of wild deer while we were there too. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This campground is in a lovely spot across from Silver Lake, but it is way too crowded and so cluttered that it had a city block feeling. This is probably made worse by the fact that there is no grass or real space between the sites. The spaces are so tight that we could hear our neighbors conversations. It is such a shame because this could be so much nicer than it is. The managers are friendly, but we wouldn't stay there again. We paid for two nights but only stayed one. We camped here in a Motorhome.
RV park is located across the street from Silver Lake. The sites here are close together but we had enough room to put out are awnings and 3 slides. Friendly staff who helps direct you into your site. They don't allow you to just come in and park by yourself. The cafe has good food and they are always busy. The cafe closes at 2pm but there are other places to eat in the village. There are four lakes along the June Lake loop and we've always been partial to Silver Lake when we fished. Mostly rainbow trout and now and then we would hook up with a brown. The pack station is near the park where they offer hourly rides and there are numerous trails to hike. The views are spectacular here, of course we're extremely partial to the area since we lived here for 18 years!! Silver Lake Resort closes on Oct. 15th but the fishing continues on until the middle of November. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Campground was ok, camp hosts were very friendly and helpful but it is the surroundings that make this so special. Scenery was awesome, campground directly across from Silver Lake and the fishing was excellent. Nice little store and restaurant. Our first trip to June Lake Loop and we will definitely return, hopefully in fall. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great setting -- right up against the Sierras, near a good trout lake. Managers were friendly and helpful. Lots of hiking nearby. Well maintained and very clean park. But sites were very tight, as were interior roads. Tough to get in and out of spots. Very little shade or privacy -- basically a parking lot. A few spots have a little shade. Very quiet at night. Terrific stars [except for the darn ten thousand foot mountains -- they got in the way]. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
