Price reflects Passport America. It is off season and we were the only ones in the campground other than the permanents. Just a basic park. Wi-Fi was down temporary said the yellowed sign in the front door! I see this as being an OK park in season to do the weekend fishing trip with the kids and family. Cable TV had plenty of channels but many were fuzzy. We parked in site 36 closest to the lake and best view, but furthest from the office and rec room (didn't check out). I can see that if it rained a lot you may could get stuck! They clearly spent more money on the attractive website then on the park! Just an OK place. Grass site, fairly large and long. Well worth our money for one nights stay. A strong 30 amp electric (held 2 small heaters, and microwave at the same time!), good water pressure @ 55 psi. I would stay again at this price. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here early off-season and there were only about four campers, and in response to the basic nature of the park, management said "This is not a resort," but we were very pleased with the park overall. The park is set up so that a motorhome can nose-in to the river (right on the bank) and we awakened each morning to birds on the water and in the shrubs, fog lifting off the water, sunsets at night and a general sense of tranquillity not to be expected right on Hwy 101. The facilities are old, but very clean, with plenty of hot water. The cable was spotty, but we used a satellite so only used local news in the evening. Management ("Bob") was very friendly and allowed us to pick any of the paved spaces we wished, even allowed us to move to a second "better" space. Lots of beauty to visit in the area. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Clean park with level paved sights, many are pull thrus. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The sites are easy in and easy out. Park is on the Klamath River and has boat docks available. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park had several different areas. There were the regular RV sites in the gravel with little shade. There were RV sites in a meadow with lots of shade and then a lot of tent areas. There is a large area about 3 acres for football, soccer, badminton and anything you would want to play. The management was extremely helpful. We asked to purchase some salmon and they found a fisherman quickly that was willing to sell his fresh fish. They were wonderful to take the time and give us directions. The Saturday night BBQ was fun and we enjoyed the entertainment. We were going to use the laundry room but it had more broken washers than working ones. A fellow in a tear drop trailer said the bathrooms were dirty and upon request they cleaned them immediately. The electrical where we were parked needed repair. We tried to walk to the Klamath River from our camp site which we were told we could do; turned out to be too muddy to navigate. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Their ad says they can accommodate RV's up to 50 feet, but the lot was barely big enough for our motorhome without room for the towed car. They asked us to park the car on a small grassy area where many, many other campers pottied their dogs without cleaning up after them because they might try to squeeze another RV in next to us. Thank God they didn't have to for we literally would not of been able to have our slides out and barely would of been able to open our door. We had to be very careful trying to get to our car door, due to the irresponsible pet owners and the park owners not enforcing the pet cleanup. They charged us full price for Saturday, not honoring the Passport rate. Many others do the same, but they state that policy in the Passport ad. This park did not have that stated. On the positive side, the staff is very helpful with local information. It is close to the National Redwood forest and the surrounding area is beautifully rustic. They also had a delicious Salmon grill out on Saturday night accompanied with local musicians which we totally enjoyed. We stayed 2 nights, Saturday and Sunday, in a 40 foot motorhome. We would not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is immaculate. The grass is neatly cut. The view from the waterfront lots is spectacular. It is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only problem is a really tight right turn at the entrance to the park. It is important to swing wide at the entry gate. We will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects RPI rate after added surcharges for elect., cable TV and a river view lot. Big rigs be advised that the entrance is a u-turn from the access road so swing wide from the left side of the road to make the turn into the park. Friendly staff, nice dog walk area, clean facilities and a spectacular view of the Klamath River. River view sites are 30 amp only, but even in June, there was no need for AC. Closest major shopping is 25 miles north in Crescent City, but a small market is in Klamath. It's very peaceful here and we would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great park. Beautiful setting right on the river. Very clean showers and restrooms and laundry. Very friendly owner. The WiFi was not working when we were there as he was waiting for a part but normally the charge is $5.50 for the day. The sites are close together and could be a pain when the park is full but otherwise he will space you out and all is well. We would stay again for sure We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Wodalls rated this a 5 X 5 and said they had 30/ 50 amp sites. They did not exist. This is not a top rated facility. Good fishing spot. This sites are not marked and getting in and out requires over the grass travel. Will not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here Aug 2008 for three days. The site was large and pretty level, the rate was quite appropriate for the amenities (swimming pool, laundry, store, ping pong, TV room, bingo, pool table, exchange library, reading room, nightly group camp fire). The bathrooms were ultra-clean, the park was very well maintained and the staff was very helpful. We don't tow a car, the park owners were glad to drop all five of my family around to two local tourist attractions, and picked us up within 15 minutes of our calling for a ride back. There were on-site fishing and kayak guides, I spoke with both of them at length and found them very knowledgable, flexible, and friendly. We rented kayaks and were treated like royalty by all involved. Our visit was so favorable we would have stayed there again on the way home to CA the next week to fish, but mechanical troubles forced us to find another route home. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Do NOT stop here if you want a reasonable overnight accommodation. We were charged $33.50 for a water/electric only hook-up on an uneven grass site. The site did have a picnic table, but the fire ring was filled with partially burned trash. Those were the ONLY amenities. Our site had no cable, and could not pick up WiFi. This is the only campground we've EVER seen that wants to charge for use of the dump site AFTER you've already paid to stay there. The dump site is padlocked, and they want ANOTHER $10 for the privilege of using it. We've NEVER seen another park pull this one, in any of the lower 48 states. Of course, we could have paid $43 for a full hook-up site, but we found that rate to be exorbitant. It's not a fancy resort, and charging those rates struck as ridiculous. The full hook-up sites are all jammed together with barely room to put out the awning. We felt totally ripped off, and will, obviously, never stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice older park with lots to offer. Clean showers, quiet wooded surroundings. Half mile trail in the woods skirts around the park. Kiddie playground well away from RV sites. Close to Trees of Mystery, jet boats and more. We will stay here again! We camped here in a Motorhome.
