This is a lovely park. The pool, hot tub, and great room area are well maintained. The office staff is very helpful and friendly. The sights are a bit close together, but everyone adapts. The permanent guests as well as any weekenders make you feel welcome. We recently finished a 4 month workamping job there, and would return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice park with large sites and lots of grass. The staff was not very accommodating and that is why I gave this park an 8 instead of a 10. We will come back as our children live nearby, but there are much friendlier parks in which to stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

5 star but still by railroad tracks. Very good Wi-Fi and the staff was very friendly. Tricky to get to as there is a wall right down the middle of the road and you have to go miles to circumvent it. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed 6 days for business in area. Renovating the park, lots of dust from large equipement tearing down bushes and pulling up grass, moving dirt for leveling. Railroad runs directly behind park and hwy 101 1 block behind the railroad. Monterey Hwy runs in front of the park. Plus hwy overramp less than 1 block to the north of the park being constructed. Lots of road and construction noise during the week. Mostly long term renters. Over watering what grass is left and leaves muddy grass that never dried out even in 98 degree days. Lots of construction workers & families living in park. Police came with K9 unit one night. People do not observe 5 mille limit and cut through empty sites when possible. Our awning was 8" from touching on one side and the slides are against electrical and water on the other. Would not come back. No security, people coming all hours of the night. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a clean park with some commuter train noise that never bothered me. Sites are narrow, level, closely-spaced concrete pads, in good condition, with no shade. Roads are adequately-wide asphalt, in good condition. Staff are friendly. Verizon data service works well. The rate is with AAA discount and tax. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is mostly full time farm workers. The park is quiet as if not working the residents are inside their homes. Good convenient stop for an overnighter but not a destination. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I did not stay here! I called in the morning to make a reservation for a one night stay and was told to come on in, no problem. Upon arrival I was told they do not accept overnight, but would make an exception. I paid for one night, but after seeing the site which had garbage bags and a parked car blocking the entrance, I got a refund and moved down the road. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We were very pleased with this campground. The manager and his team are just awesome. We can not wait to come back again. Has wide sites, a pool, and a stocked store. Lots of camping fun. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Our one-night stay here was a mixed experience. The staff who run the park and who assisted us in the office (2 men, 2 women) were some of the nicest, most courteous people we ever have met. Friendly, outgoing, helpful. They graciously answered our questions, and I saw one of them going over a map with another guest to provide helpful directions. The park itself, however, is below average. It is not really a place for vacationers, most of the park is set up for permanent (or at least very long-term) tenants. In fact, the parkway lakes web site (not the KOA site) specifically states that they are looking for long-term residents and the park reflects this emphasis. A few of the long-term have nice sites, but many are occupied by older, run-down RV's. Some of these residents have installed storage bins and/or storage lockers in their sites, which creates an unkempt appearance. Some of the sites have two or even three cars parked in and around the RV, and the sites really do not have space for this. There are overflow parking sites around the office/pool area, and these were mostly full of residents cars, as well. As a result, much of the park has an over-crowded feel to it. I should emphasize that the park is not dirty, the office, pool, and laundry areas were neat and tidy and the grounds were clean. Our site was adjacent to some older units that looked as if they had been there a long time. The site was old asphalt, with a straggly strip of grass on one side. Cable was available, but I was not able to use it because the connection required a coax cable with a female end. I have a coax cable with two male ends - one for my RV and the other for the park connection, this has been the standard hookup in every other park I ever have stayed in. I was not able to access the Wi-Fi in my site or in the office area. One of the staff graciously tried to help me get connected, but we were unsuccessful. He would have been happy to help me further, but I did not have the time, we had to hit the road. Plus, I knew the problem was not with my laptop since I connected successfully at every other campground and several hot-spot locations during our trip. The bottom line, I would rate the staff as a "10" and the park as a "2". We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is really tired and in dire need of updates. When things break, they don't get fixed; instead, an "out of order" sign gets hung, and that's where it stays. One section of the campground is being updated with new electrical boxes, but no visible work has been done for 6 months, and the section is still closed. The sites get muddy when it rains; they don't have sewers. What they do have is way too many long-term residents, which adds to the not-very-appealing look of the place. We are Thousand Trails members and generally stay for just one night at the beginning and end of our trips. This park works okay for that purpose, but we wonder why some of our annual dues aren't being used to improve this park. It's way overdue. We certainly wouldn't pay to stay here. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate is for TTN Members. Non members pay about $35. No air TV. Free Wi-Fi in the clubhouses. Good Verizon phone and data. Pool is unheated so not open in the winter. Store is closed in the winter. This is a nice park, but not worth the rack rate if anyone considers paying the $35. As with most TTN parks, the facility is very dated. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I stayed here for a week as my first Thousand Trails experience. This campground is quite old and showing its age. The bathrooms, while clean and functional, show need of a complete do over. The spots are generally level but a few in the G row need a little work to level. A great many of the ones in the G area are closed because of electrical problems. When I asked about plans to fix that they said they were working on it (however, they have said that for years to previous reviewers). Since it was winter the facilities weren't open but the pool area looks nice as do the lodges. There are many activities; horseshoes, shuffleboard, volleyball etc. available. As it is heavily treed in most parts (not G) getting satellite with a dish attached to your vehicle can be hard. I will be coming back as my hobby is Geo-caching and there are a plethora of them here. Nightly rate of $1 was entered because the website doesn't allow a 0. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is a bit out in the country with some winding roads getting to the park. The positive side of that is that is very quiet and wonderfully dark. There are only a few RV spaces for over-nighters, so it is definitely advisable to make reservations. As noted, there are a lot of long term residents but that is not a problem; they were all quiet and respectful. There are a few sites that will get satellite. Our Verizon phone and data card worked well. The park has a very nice feel with a large green space and sites well-spaced. The manager was very efficient in getting us registered and accommodating our satellite needs. The utilities are all good, but spacing is a bit strange with sewer hookups located quite a ways away. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is not a bad campground but there is nothing to do that I could find except in San Jose more than 20 miles north. There you will find the Winchester Mystery House, a bizarre house built by the heiress to the Winchester Rifle Company. Do not count on getting any television channels because you are between two small mountains. Cell service seems to be okay though. Most of the people here are permanent, but they do seem to have close relationships. It gives the place a kind of homey feeling which is not bad. By the way, the showers are clean because you have to pay to use them. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Real nice park. Our shady site was waiting for us with a welcome pack & pen. Big pull threw site. Good power, very nice shady/grass area in the middle. A number of liveaboards, but very well kept. Very quiet park, a few miles off the hi way but a lot better then the parks closer. We will overnight it here again sometime. We camped here in a Motorhome.
