This park is truly spotless and the pool and spa were quite nice. The only negative is that if you are parked near the highway (Monterrey) then you get quite a bit of traffic and train noise. They also had more grass and larger spaces than many parks. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is the closet RV park to San Jose. It is new and very nice. The staff is pleasant and kind. The train that is near was not a big deal, our motorhome is pretty well insulated so it never bothered us. This park has a nice pool and jacuzzi. Be careful to really look at your charges, they have a charge of a $2.00 per day if you have more than one dog and they also charge $2.00 per day for parking your toad in any of the available parking spots. That can really add up if you stay a month or two and we think that is a little high. Overall, nice park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice park! The sites are nicely situated, the concrete pads are nice and level, the hookups easy to use. The staff here is very friendly, they even lead you to your site and help with placement. The pool was heated and nice, the hottub was also very nice. we were here because of the vicinity to the south Bay area, and would definitely come back. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a very nice Park. The staff is wonderful and helpful. I would give it a 10 if it wasn't for the trains at all hours. It really didn't bother us, but I can see that it bothered others. It is a great location to Downtown Morgan Hill that has great restaurants. We will definitely stay here again. I do think it is a bit expensive considering the train traffic. I do think it is strange that the most expensive sites are the closest to the train tracks. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a very new park, but very nice and will be nicer when the trees get bigger. We were escorted to our site and the staff was exceptionally friendly. The site was the largest we have seen with large grass areas in between. The streets were very wide and great for large motor homes. The facility was very clean and the park had a nice view of the surrounding hills. I would give this park a 10, except for one negative item. The train was very noisy and went thru in the middle of the night. There was some highway noise, but the train was loud. We would go back to this park though, it was exceptionally nice. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Unfortunately, we were not impressed with this RV park. Although everything was brand new, the staff was extremely rude. The park was far removed from any modern conveniences, nor was it close to any attractions. It was very difficult to access the park going north as there was a road divider. Pool was much smaller than it looked on the web site. This place might be good if you happen to be traveling on the frontage road (old highway) at night and need a place to hang your head as you are too exhausted to go one milre further. Other than that, drive on by. You won't miss a thing. We camped here in a Motorhome.
There are absolutely NO PULL THRUS, they have crammed each site about 2.5 ft. apart. The majority of the park sits east to west so awnings don't to much to shade your space in the evening. The pool and hot tub is very clean, as is the laundry and restrooms. Staff is very accommodating. The store closes at 5pm. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Beautiful brand new RV park. Wonderfully thought out RV lot placements, nice grass in between each row. Gorgeous club house and pool. No table or BBQ at sites, so bring your own. Train track right next to park, but it didn't bother us to hear trains occasionally (late at night too). Managers were incredible - friendly, accommodating, eager to make our stay the best it could be. We only live 30 minutes away from this place, but will be coming back for short getaways often! We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a great place. New dog run is very nice. This is not a golf resort as advertised, although there is a golf course nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff. The park is new, so there is no shade as the trees that were planted are very small. We would gladly stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Really nice. Super friendly & helpful staff. Brand new pool and hot tub. No mature trees. The facilities were top notch; they must have spent a fortune building this place...which probably explains the cost. Never seen anything quite like it. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This will be a nice park when the landscaping starts to grow. They have just opened and are still finishing up everything. Nice managers. I think the price is high for what you get. The location is not close to any stores, etc., but is a perfect location for day trips to San Francisco and Monterey and a number of closer places to visit, like local wineries. There are 10-15 golf courses within 10 miles. There is a real need for a nice RV park in this area. Hopefully, they will not fill it up with fulltimers working in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed here for a couple days while we had business in San Jose. There are many full-time residents, yet the park is well maintained and clean, with some grass between sites. There is free Wi-FI, and the signal is very good. They do have a swimming pool & jacuzzi as well. The staff seems nice. We'd stay here again. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
The park is clean but there is no shade. They have picnic tables which are nice but no shade to sit under! They do not allow any dogs over 50 lbs. The people are nice. This is a nice place to visit! Stores are nearby too. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed here for a month in Oct 2007 in a 40' motor home with four slides. Our nightly price reflects the monthly rate. Instant phone hookup is available, but at a charge of $1 per day plus, of course, any long distance fees. We had to leave a $50 deposit to stay for a month and they DID NOT accept a credit card! There was also a $10 key deposit for the bath house. We also had to pay $50 extra for a pull-thru space. We chose the pull-thru because we would not have fit in the back-in spaces available. The pull-thru was way too close to the surrounding sites, however, we were fortunate that no one was parked beside us during our stay. The pull-thru spaces are long enough to accommodate a 40' or larger motor home (55') - HOWEVER, there is no room for your tow vehicle. We were told that our tow vehicle would be towed at midnight (sneaky) if we parked it in the empty space next to us. GIVE ME A BREAK! The park is extremely clean and well maintained. The negatives are the too-short spaces that are too close together and that the fact that the owners seem to "nickle & dime" the campers as well as being a bit ridiculous on some of the rules. But, I guess the rules keep things nice. One MAJOR complaint I have is that we used the club house and we told our guests to park outside of the park where there is ample parking. There was one exception - an elderly friend who has many health problems and cannot walk even a small distance. The owner/staff would not let them drive into the park so that they could be close to the club house. That is downright shameful! We camped here in a Motorhome.
The park is mostly long term folks, but there are a couple of rows that are kept open for those who are there for a few nights. The sites with long terms are neat and nicely kept for the most part. They do have some pull throughs. They are a little short and depending on the size of the rig, it may be hard to park a tow vehicle as well. There are some parking spaces for tows nearby. A couple of sites are long enough for 40' but they cannot make the turn to get into the site. We had a good, free WiFi connection. The office staff we dealt with was friendly. There is a well stocked store. There is a charge for pets and there is not a good place to walk them. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed here a month. There are many park models in the park. 3 more came in the month we were here. Streets are narrow, and sights are short. Almost no space to park your tow vehicle. They require a refundable deposit for a 30 day stay, and charge extra for a pet they do nothing for. The park is quiet at night, even with the trains as previously stated. Good for an overnight stay, or if you are working in the area. Nothing fancy. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Second time we have stayed here. There are half as many full timers as there was in 2005. The roads and RV sites are narrow. Pretty quiet at night, even with the train going by. Good spot to stay for the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The sites are very close together and fairly short. There are mostly full timers with park model trailers, but they keep them up well. Good Wify hookups, just about an average park in a farming community with asphalt sites and lots of green grass. We would stay again, if in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is one of the cleanest parks I've seen. No trash, all grass mowed and cleaned.
Managers exceptional. When calling on the phone for directions, they were very patient, and explained directions clearly. Far enough off highway so as to not be bothered by vehicles on highway 101. Only down side was the railroad nearby. No bells or whistles, just a friendly reminder that there were tracks out there somewhere. Spaces are a little tight but fit big rigs okay. Every site has it's own concrete pad and freshly mown grass with a picnic table. Hookups were set at a good position, and at the right elevation for sewer lines to drain. Restrooms and showers were some of the cleanest and well kept I've ever seen. All in all a very nice park surrounded with lots of things to do and see. We'll be back! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This campground has potential but is currently very run down. It is an older park with mature trees and an everyother day "honeywagon" to pump out your tanks. I've stayed here for the past three summers while working in nearby San Jose. The park is mostly fulltimers with old, run down RVs and the management has let this park deteriorate to the extent that I didn't feel safe and I will not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
If this campground had sewer hook-ups it would be a perfect place to spend a couple of weeks. There is a "honey-wagon" going around, but it is a little on the expensive side. On the other hand are the rest rooms in good shape so if you use them you are OK. The Morgan Hill area is soooo pretty and well worth an extensive drive. Gilroy (20 minutes drive away) has enough shopping/outlets to make your credit card melt. Pool was closed for the season while we were there. Don't think it should have been since we had 4 days of 80 degrees. Pool should be closed according to the weather - not according to a date. We hope to be back some day. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We love this park, but most of our favorite sites had bags over the electric posts. We asked ,and it is unknown, if they will be able to get them fixed. Not only is the electric outdated but according to PG&E the park is at the end of a supply grid and can not supply more electric to the park. Most of the restrooms were clean but very worn. We will come back but not for any extended stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is still a very nice park with a wonderful pool. The staff though has slide down a lot. While most are very nice, one older guy at the gate seems cold and almost rude. Both him and the park manager(white cowboy hat) seem to be on a power trip. But, we just try to ignore there attitudes, and have a good time anyway because it is nice TT campground. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Nice Olympic size pool but cold! We had a nice end site. Store not open much! We did not use the bath houses they closed in some of the sections for remodeling as some of these Thousand Trails pks could sure use remodeling jobs. We now wonder if it is worth the membership since staying at allot of them! This park was close to a town to be able to buy groceries and whatnot. We stayed one week here. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Beautiful campground, a lot of trees. The campground was quiet and clean. There were many things to do for the kids. Dump stations and honey truck available, no sewer at the sites. We used the free weekend offer. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a nice Thousand Trails park. The staff is excellent!! The sites are nice and many of them give you some elbow room between you & the next RV. Nice pool. Some sites have shade trees. Only a small section of the park seemed to be in WI-FI range. The main thing wrong with this park is no sewer hook ups. If they would install full hook ups I'd give it a 9, or 10. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a Thousand Trails/NACO park. Some of the best, nicest amenities I've seen so far
in the Thousand Trails system. Beautiful, very large pool. Nice store & laundry room. Lack of sewer hookups keeps this park from being a 10. About 20 miles
or so from the Pacific Coast Highway. Lost of wineries in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Pretty park---- office hours are kind of "hippy-dippy" --- as in we're here now, but not now---- however the park is lovely. We came in when the office was empty, but they were on the ball, and left documentation so we knew which site was ours, and how to get to it. Only problem was our sewer hookup ended up under our right rear wheel. Still enjoyed our night there! Found a workamper in the morning and emptied our tanks..... we'd go back there. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Greetings, We spent 4 evenings here and enjoy every minute of it. The majority of the sites were long term but the folks were very friendly and happily answered questions about the area/dining/points of interest. Pets are really welcome in this park, plenty of area for pet/nature walks. We saw wild turkeys, deer, and rabbits in the park. Restroom/laundry are dated but very clean and well cared for. Grounds were well care for, trash drop of area very clean and organized. Office hours are limited but park manager (Bonnie) and her assistant (Lynn) continually travel around the parks stopping to check on things and talk with folks (nice touch). Children are welcome but there is little to do for the younger ones and no local transportation for teens who may want to go to town. Spaces are very large with easy access. Satellite and Verizon reception were excellent. We will return for longer stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
HUGE sites with no extra costs for more then 1 vehicle. There are lot of permanent or near permanent residents at this park and for the most part they have the prime locations. Otherwise it's very quiet and peaceful and everyone was very friendly. If you've stayed in other parks south of San Jose before you know that many are just parking lots trying to squeeze every dollar out of every square foot. This park is different and we would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
They have power problems. Voltage drops all the time. An Autoformer will help and I highly suggest you use one in that park along with a surge protector. Office is only open for two hours a day. We camped here in a Motorhome.
