Gravel sites with a large cement patio pad; full hookups and free Wi-Fi. There's some landscaping around the park entrance, and a lodge/rec room with a pool table, big TV, etc. for get-togethers. It's mostly permanent RVers there, but their rigs seemed clean and well-kept. Moderate highway noise from I-40 and 95. If you need gas, follow "K" St. to Harbor Ave. in Arizona -- it's almost a dollar a gallon cheaper there, and only a 10 minute drive away! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We called and were told full hook-up sites were available for $25/night. When we arrived we were offered a back lot site still supposedly with full hook-up and wi-fi, supposedly for the benefit of our dogs. It was dusk and when we got to the site I unhooked and began to set up. Found out the cable did not work and there was no sewer after all. The water and electric worked, and wifi was available. We were told no refund or reduced price because "we already ran your credit card". We stayed one night and left. I think the park mislead us. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Right to the point: We would give the place a high 7+. To get there, go right into Needles and turn right at Highway 95, then go about 4 miles. It's in the country. Really rather nicely kept for a place situated in the desert. Clean spot for a night. Restrooms, shower were clean. Washers and dryers also here. It's not at all grassy: expect sandy, dusty roads. We'd stay again for a night. We felt safe and spent a quiet relaxing night. Met others who stay all winter. Golf is close by. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice park. Five miles off I-40. Quiet. Bathrooms/showers roomy and clean. Nice clubhouse. There was a potluck the night I was here and I was invited. Nice staff. Cable didn't have many stations but both that and the Wi-Fi worked well. When I was checked in, I was given a card with the user name and password. I was told to be sure to capitalize as shown. I kept getting an error message. I called the 800 number and was told that the capitalization was incorrect. Other than that, everything else was okay. I was shown to my site. Plenty of space, fairly level. I would stay here again when passing through. We camped here in a Motorhome.

No-frills, desert park geared towards snowbirds. Needs a bit of upkeep, but perhaps the painting and grouting is planned during the soon-to-arrive offseason. We enjoyed a visit to Mitchell Caverns, an hour away. Fuel prices in Needles still gouge at the pace of 70-90 cents more per gallon. Overall a positive stay, may stay again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Managers very friendly and helpful. Starry nights are a wonder. Clean restrooms and showers. WIFI slow but free. No added cost, only $25 per night. Will come back for a longer stay on the trip home. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We pulled in and were immediately invited to a potluck which they were having that evening in the recreation room. After a wonderful dinner and meeting some very nice people, we were given a calendar of events for the month. They have a variety of activities scheduled. We later found out that this is a winter visitor park and from about October until March or April, the park is full of people from all over the country (Canada too). They come to this park because it offers a lot for its guests. It is about 25 miles from Laughlin, Nevada - It is about five miles from the Colorado River and from the Golf course. Besides the rec. room activities, there are many other activities in and around the park such as hiking, dirt biking and jeeping. The guests are all friendly, the management is friendly, and we started out as intending to stay for 2 nights, wound up staying for the month, and we'll be back this winter for the season. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We pulled up and were impressed to have someone meet us at our RV, it was 110 degrees!! They asked if we had reservations...noticed we had kids and parked us with in close proximity to the pool. Also, noticed we had a dog and told us where we could "relieve" our dog. They led us to our spot and directed my husband in and stayed to make sure we didn't need anything. The spots are lovely...each separated by a flowering hedge and even though they sites are gravel they have their own concrete patio to park next to. The pool area, laundry and restrooms are immaculate. I can account for only two negatives...one shower for each sex and the proximity to local services; over 4 miles away. Other then that a beautiful oasis in the desert. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I don't know of anyplace nicer than this. These folks know how to run an RV Park. Lovely desert sites separated by 10' Oleander hedges, exellent pool. Park has nice people, is quiet, super clean. Superb. Follow the signs to Needles KOA: it's right next door but way better! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Ended up here when we couldn't find Needles KOA. OK for the night - trouble connecting to Wi-Fi since we arrived late and couldn't get assistance until after 8:00am the next morning. "Wi-Fi available" means they have to give you the secret code during office hours. No cable TV. Uneven gravel sites. Probably a good place with pre-planning instead of dropping in late. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Level, gravel sites with small concrete patio. Large oleander shrubs between each site gives nice privacy. Fair sized dog run; no grass but it's the desert. Nice landscaping. The pool area is lovely and on a 105 degree day, the water felt great. You are escorted to your site and registered there. Absolutely painless process. Would definitely stay again. This was the nicest campground we stayed in on our entire summer trip. It is clean and quiet, and there is shade, which you need in the desert in the summer. The bathrooms and showers are spotless. The people are friendly and they register you at your site and help you park. They even brought us ice right to our RV. We stayed here twice this summer, on the first and last days of our trip. We will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We pulled in to register and someone met us at our coach. She escorted us to our site and registered us there. We used the swimming pool and the swimming pool patio was beautiful & very clean. The whole park was extremely clean. We had no noise from the highway overnight even though it is fairly close to the park. Each site as a concrete patio. The park roads are gravel. Everything is clean as a whistle. Classy park. We are looking forward to returning again soon. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The hosts were courteous and helpful, guiding us to our site and assisting with parking, and registered us on the site. Cash/checks only. The gravel sites are very pretty and quite deep. We had called ahead to the KOA and Desert View and chose Desert View because they would not charge us extra for Wi-Fi or for having a 12 year old with us. Park is beautiful with blooming flowers and palm trees. Each site feels very private as there are plants on both sides screening you from neighbors. We had one of the PT sites as we were only staying 1 night. Hosts were super friendly and helpful with things to do and places to go. They even warned us not to buy gas in Needles because it is so overpriced. Park has a small swimming pool, horseshoes, a clubhouse and a very clean laundry area ($1.50 wash/$1 dry).There are no playgrounds or things for kids to do besides swim but no one seemed to mind ours being there. Our site had 50 amp, was gravel and had a concrete patio. No grill or fire rings. No cable but the TV stations we did get came in very clear, mostly from Phoenix and Las Vegas. Park was very easy to get to from I-40 and was perfect for an overnight stop. We would stay here again if passing through. Be warned however they only take cash or checks. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay here. Cash or checks only, hosts meet you as you pull into the campground, then escort you to your site. Our site was long enough for motorhome and tow car. Nice flowery shrubs along each side of site providing privacy. There are 2 showers, private. They were clean, a bit dated, but very functional. We would camp here again, an excellent facility. This rate is based on the monthly rate for the space in which we stayed. If you stay for a month you are also charged for your electrical usage. We found this park one summer while looking for the KOA next door and decided to try it because it looked clean and well maintained. We liked it so much we returned the following three winters for 1-2 months each time as they have a strong snowbird population. It is one of the nicest parks in which we have ever stayed. The owners and hosts are very helpful and friendly. The spaces are clean with tall oleanders and a couple trees between each space for privacy. Each space also has a large cement patio. The spaces are all gravel mostly pull-thrus. The sound from vehicles passing on the gravel road throughout the park can sometimes be very noisy. TV reception is fair with only a rooftop aerial but most folks have satellite. There is an unheated pool, laundry facilities, horseshoe pit, & clubroom. There are many activities if you want to participate but beware they mostly involve $. During the winter there is a music jam every other Sat, a couple potluck dinners each month, crafts and a golfing group once a week. There are limited spaces available for overnighters which fill up fast so be sure to call well in advance for reservations. We are very disappointed in the new policy for snowbirds effective for the year 2011...they will not take reservations for less than 3 months stay. Unfortunately because of that we will not return next year. We will miss the park and all the friends we have made over the years. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We used this park for a 2 night layover. The friendly campground hosts met us and helped us into our spot which was large and pleasant with nice shrubs separating us from our neighbors to provide a sense of privacy. Everything was very clean and well kept. The park is located far enough off the highway to be nice and quiet. It appeared that most of the sites were occupied by snowbirds who return year after year with just a few sites reserved for overnighters, but everyone was very welcoming. Wi-Fi worked fine. Our stay here was very pleasant and we would definitely stay here again. As someone else mentioned: this park takes only cash or checks. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a lovely park close to the KOA but further back from the freeway and thus, much quieter. We were warmly greeted and escorted to a secluded spacious site. The facilities are nearly new and spotless. The only thing that keeps it from being a 10 is that there is no cable tv, but then, there is none available anywhere in Needles. No cable here (or at the KOA next door) but can receive several broadcast stations. Wi-Fi worked well. Watch out for the very high gas prices in the area - 60 cents a gallon more than Parker, AZ! Lots of gravel, at times I felt I needed 4x4. A nice clean site. We were told the wireless signal was great but we could not get it inside our trailer. We had to sit outside at the end of our spot. I think they need some more antenna's. The price was reasonable but they only took cash or check and we did not know it until they asked for it. This park is an oasis in the desert. Has beautiful landscaping, friendly, friendly, friendly hosts. You are met at the entrance by the hosts who guide you into your site and register you right at the site. Has lots of activities. We spend the Fall, Winter, and Spring here. It's a good idea to call ahead for reservations. If you miss this one you miss the friendliest, best park in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

All of the previous reviews are on point. Verizon cell and air card signal strength is very good. Have stayed here before, so knew what to expect... including the heat. Currently, hotter than hell.. about 115 during the day and 80 at night. No tables at sites, and no grass, but there is a club room building with a covered patio to get out of the direct sun. This was one of the prettiest and cleanest campgrounds we ever stayed at. The sites were large and all pull throughs. The sites are separated by large oleander bushes which were in full bloom when we arrived. There are palm trees lining the side of the property. At night they are lit up with Christmas lights around the trunk. It's very pretty and very friendly camp hosts. My only complaint is that there is no nice area to walk your dogs. They have to walk on the gravel. There is a dog pen in the back but it's not very nice and pretty small. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stopped here overnight on our way home to Reno from Mesa. We usually stay at another park in the area but decided to try this one for a change of pace. We were very happy we did. There is no office so you are met at the entrance and escorted to your site where the registration is completed and fee collected. We were welcomed as if we stayed here often. It's nice they have a fenced dog area and that you are welcome to walk your dog anywhere in the park as long as they are leashed and cleaned up after. The sites are very adequate for a rig with 4 slides. The patio was nice sized. They only thing that kept us from giving this park a "10" rating is they have no cable hook-up. For those of us without satellite it makes watching our favorite shows a little more difficult. We now have a new overnight spot when traveling east or south. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Charming small RV park. Stayed here one night on the way north and would have stayed longer but did not have time. Restrooms older but clean. There is a good rec room. There is no office and the host completes the reservation and collects payment at the site. Good patio pad. There is even a small fenced dog run about 15 x 15. Only drawback is no cable TV. Sites nicely separated by hedges. Great landscaping with good lighting. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The relatively new owners (3 years) have made lots of improvements, from what we've heard. Hookups and concrete pad at site were all in good order. We loved the blooming oleander bushes that separated each RV site--nice privacy as well as the beautiful palm trees that lined the street side--lit up in the evenings. Nice for a stroll. We stayed overnight (on Thanksgiving day no less) and were invited to the resort's feast, no need to bring anything. We had a ball with the mostly snowbird crowd (there were a few other overnighters) in the Route 66 decorated clubhouse. We were sorry we weren't staying longer as they announced a trip for Monday after Thanksgiving to drive to the bottom of the Grand Canyon--sounds like lots of organized activities for the snowbirds. Very nice folks. There are not very many amenities at the resort itself (tiny pool), but organized activities, proximity to Laughlin, Vegas, and other attractions. While we've stayed at technically nicer (read: fancier) places, I give this high marks for friendliness, cleanliness, and overall welcoming atmosphere. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Unfortunately, when we arrived we where told that they did not have a space reserved for us. I showed them my reservation from the online service they use from their website, but they were still unable to honor my reservation. They refunded my $33.00 and we went next down at the KOA (which was cheaper and almost as nice). I was disappointed that they didn't try to make up for their mistake by offering a free or reduced spot the next time we stopped in the area. We have camped at this park several times and have always been pleased, but are very disappointed with them over this situation. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Small jewel in desert. Its mostly seasonal winter long term stays 55 plus. But they do cater to overnighters and its well worth the stop. Pool is very small. Hosts are very friendly folks. For anyone who has been to this park & cursed the road, it has been repaved! Park continues to be absolutely spotless with wonderful landscaping in a desert setting. Park is a ten if they add solar heat for the pool which was 74 degrees on a mid 90 degree day. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A very nice surprise! Beautifully landscaped smaller park with level sites, each enclosed by oleander hedges and the entry road lined with tall palms which are illuminated at night. Gorgeous flowers and desert shrubs placed with care. Spotless restrooms, small but nicely maintained pool. Hosts are very helpful. We found TV reception virtually nonexistent, but it was no big deal for one night. This park is well planned and meticulously cared for. Yes, we would definitely stay here again. We've stayed there twice, love it each time. First at Christmas 2007, met lots of nice snowbirds, second was May 2008, overnight. Camp hosts both time were helpful, took us to our site, and made sure all was O.K. Easy on and off Hwy 40 . Our Dogs love the fact that they could go for long walks with us in tow . This was a nice campground, definitely designed for the retirement set. The pool was very small, but a welcome relief from the heat. Everyone was super friendly. They escort you right to your site. There wasn't any recreation area to speak of, where you could walk around or enjoy the outdoors. But it's on historic Route 66, so that's sort of fun. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Poor road access, but that's not this campground's fault, rather the city/county. We loved the wall of bushes between sites, private feeling. The hosts go out of their way to be accommodating. Heat the pool! The pool is heated via solar, but at 71* it's too cold for me, especially when the outside air temps are in the 90's. All in all, this is a clean, well laid out park. Not much going on in town. The fuel prices in town were $4.49 per gal for unleaded. If your coming west on I-40, exit #9 in Arizona is a buck a a gallon cheaper! We stayed here for a week in a motorhome and would do so again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice park, we stayed for 5 days. The hosts were friendly but the regulars were not. If you are a social person don't expect much. Most the folks in this park are full time people. My wife and I tried to talk with a couple people, and got one word answers. The park has free Wi-Fi, concrete pads, no cable, gravel roads. The laundry and clubhouse are very clean. In fact this whole park is very clean and maintained. The fuel prices in Needles are a dollar more per gallon vs Arizona. We drove over to Bullhead City and saved $35.00 to fill up. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This was an OK camp ground. We did get lost using the directions from the camp ground. Camp Hosts who took us to our site said that happens all they time! Maybe they should fix that? Our site was narrow with a concrete slab and no table. It did have bushes to shield one site from the other. No site TV hookups yet they have satellite on every public building. Restrooms and showers were unisex and only 2 in our area. Made for a long waiting line in the morning. The thing that got a 7 review is that they do not take credit cards! Raise the fee $1 to cover the cost if necessary. As people on the road we do not like to carry lots of cash with us. We will only go back if everyplace is booked. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park. Needles is so dry and not very scenic, but this park has very nice landscaping, lots of palm trees, and has planted bushes between each site for privacy. At night they have flood lights on the palm trees which is pretty. The park is fairly new and very well kept up. They had free, working WIFI. There is no cable TV, but we got many stations with our antenna. I used the laundry room and it was very clean. The hosts were friendly and escorted you to your site. Many of the RVs are people here for the entire winter. They have a pool too, but I didn't see a hot tub. They do have a club house. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. This is a nice little park. We have stayed here a couple of times while traveling through the area. The road to the resort needs a lot of work, it is the old Route 66 road but not the responsibility of the resort. The pull-thru sites are separated by shrubs which gives some privacy. The hosts escort you to your site and register you at your site. The only negative was the Wi-Fi wasn't working. We will stop here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice clean park. Sites have concrete patios, but no picnic tables. Wi-Fi was great and free. Pool is unheated, otherwise I would have rated this a 10! There is a Bashes Grocery for food shopping close by. If you need fuel and are heading towards Flagstaff on I-40, the first exit after the truck scales has a Pilot fuel stop with prices $1.00 lower per gallon than California. Revisited park & found to be big rig friendly. Main roads are concrete and others river rock. Sites are long enough for & wide enough for any size coach with any number of slides. Sites are river rock with a concrete patio pad. No table is provided. The river rock is not dusty at all. Utilities are modern & well placed. Park is mix of park models, seasonals and short termers. Patrons are mainly older retirees and no playground so I would not classify this park as a "family type campground". New wifi is strong & very useable. Staff is very friendly & helpful. I would rate this park a ten, but the pool is unuseably cold even though it was over 90 degrees today. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The staff was very friendly - to the point of letting us know the next morning about bad travelling conditions so we could make choices. A very well-kept park. The pool looks very nice. Pet-friendly. We stopped here instead of continuing on to the KOA Needles. Glad we did. It is beautiful. The sites are gravel with a cement pad. The showers we used were by the pool. They were clean, but became quite steamy due to the desert heat. Couldnt be helped really. It is not really a family vacation type of park but kids are fine for overnight. Mine used the pool for hours. We were the only ones in it. The laundry room was very clean, the host was very nice. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Visited park in 40' motorhome. Resort is new, very nicely landscaped and lit. Very big
rig and satellite friendly. Host spaced the rvs every other one(not full) which added to privacy. Entire resort, including the sites, is covered in river gravel which is very clean and non dusty. Sites also had cement pad, but no table. Utilities were modern & well placed. We had a beautiful city light view from our site. This new park was a great find. We came across it as we were heading for the Needles KOA, which is next door. A sign out front advertised $16.95 per night. That is the price for water and electricity. Sewer is an additional $2 and then you get hit with a city tax, so it came out to $20.85, still a great price. (cash or check only) The manager met us in a golf cart as we entered the campground and we were promptly ushered to our pull-through site. Then he brought over his wife, who filled out the reservations form and we were settled in. Nice spacious spaces with shrubbery planted between rows. There is a small pool, laundry and a club room where they had a bingo game going that evening. They also suggested a nearby restaurant with cheap prices. We had leftovers to eat however and didn't try it. This little park was very pleasant and is only 25 miles from Laughlin, so might be fun for a couple of days. They get 6 TV channels (UHF). There is some faint noise from US 40, although the highway is several blocks away. The management is trying very hard to put this little RV park on the map. Wish we could have stayed longer, but we'll be back. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I can't give this place a rating of 10, only because it's a little bit on the funky side. But if you don't care about the frills, this is a terrific little place. We had a beautiful, shaded spot, right on the Colorado River, which was a most welcome surprise after a long day of desert driving. If you had a boat, this might be an acceptable place to stay. For RVs, we weren't very happy with it. Office is listed as open from 8am to 8pm. We arrived at 6:30pm on Monday to a closed office. Our site was cramped in between 2 other RVs (no breathing room between sites). The dump station was at the very back of the site, so our hose would not reach it without us having to park our RV with the rear end blocking the main driveway. Nothing to do at this campground, so you need a tow vehicle to go anywhere or do anything (unless you have a boat). Next morning, office still closed with a sign stating "back at 11am." What really surprised us is that there was no secure way to pay for the site! There was no mail slot leading to the office, and the box outside was not locked, meaning that anyone could pull out your envelope with your payment (check info, etc). This is a huge problem that is easily solved by simply creating a mail slot to the closed office! Our entire stay, the office was closed, so we had no contact or means to reach anyone in charge of the campground. Our phone calls to the office led to an answering machine. Being so close to our neighbors, we could not drive out of the campground from our pull-through site. We had to drive the other direction through the campsite and barely cleared obstacles (like other RVs and vehicles) while leaving. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Poor access roads (full of pot holes). Sites in the interior section are very close, kind of a parking lot with hookups. We were in site 15 on the river,.a shared site with a total of 10 spaces. Most of the spaces were in a line, like you would park at a curb, very tight and a lot of jockeying to get in and out. We had to ask the motorhome in front of us and the truck parked across from us to move in order to get out. Sites are dirt and gravel, mostly dirt. Campers were very pleasant and friendly with the exception of one group who thought we should enjoy his music and screaming kids well after quiet time and that "dogs on leash" didn't apply to him. If you're really into boating, this is a great place for you. Otherwise, there are better places to stay on the river. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed in the interior section which is like a dirt parking lot with sites close to each other. No sewer dump at the sites we had. If we ever went back to this location we'd stay out on the peninsula. This section butts up against a grass tent area. Again, might be trouble in the summer. Like a lot of places around the river it provides a kind of run down/old vibe to it. Staff was OK and other campers were fine but I bet this place is a zoo during the summer. If you're a young boater it might be great fun but be careful if you want calm/quiet (at least in the summer months). Oh, they have some funny rules such as must show proof of insurance and no ATVs, although they're constantly going through the park every day. Anything with a steering wheel is supposed to be OK. We have stayed at the park for the past couple of months enjoying the desert in the winter. Until recently The sites located on the Colorado river had no sewer hookups, the park would send a truck around once a week to dump your tanks though. Now that they have completed the sewer hookups this is a great place to stay. No more navy showers. You can't beat the winter long term rates of $200/Mo with 50 amp included in the price. If you love being able to camp on a sand peninsula on the water (Colorado River), having a campfire and enjoying the beautiful weather and privacy- this is a treasure. Every time we stay, we hate to leave. This is the best of camping- good hiking, nearby historically sacred native meeting areas with many pictographs (Spirit Mountain area west of Laughlin), total privacy and interesting groups of snowbirds on the long term peninsulas. We did a quick overnight here a few years back, and really liked it. Our latest experience, while okay, wasn't quite what we expected. We paid extra for a premium "peninsula" site, and they directed us to site #12. What they didn't tell us was that "Site #12" is actually 4 separate sites in one very small driveway that ends against the river. We were the first ones into our 4-site spot, which was fortunate, because we had do do a lot of jockeying around to get a 40-ft. motorhome in the area to begin with (and the office told us we'd have no trouble at all), and then to get within a reasonable distance to the hookups was another battle. The next person in to our "Site #12" was a pop-up camper, and he had to park so close to us that he very nearly had to park under our awning. Very late that night another rig pulled in so our $35 went to give us the privilege of parking closer to more people than if we had just taken a pull-thru site in the main part of the campground. Don't pay for a site on the "peninsula" unless you want to get really up close and personal with the other campers, and pay extra for the privilege of doing so. It's a nice enough park, but the peninsula sites were ridiculous. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park Moabi may be the best deal on the Colorado River from November through March. Sites on the Peninsula section of the campground cost $200/month, including electricity (up to 50 amp), water, and a weekly honeywagon tank pumpout. The sites are reasonably level, on dirt or sand, and you can generally orient your rig for the best river view or access, depending on the length of your hookup connections. All sites are very close to the river. It can be windy and chilly, and park personnel, while friendly and efficient, are too understaffed to enforce pet clean-up regulations. Laughlin and Lake Havasu City are nearby. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Some sites are on the Colorado River but can only be reserved by large groups. Other sites
are not on the river and are basically a gravel parking lot separated by old railroad timbers. Very close to your neighbors on all sides. Entrance road is in bad shape, it is dirt and gravel with a large speed bump at the gate. Entrance station has a clearance of only 12'7". We stayed for one night as a stopover, charged us extra $4.00 beacause we had two kayaks on our roof. Even though we were not going to use them, the park rents them, therefore, they surcharged us for bringing our own. In addition, tried to charge us for our tow vehicle since we detached right before the entrance gate. Only did this because the road was so bad and we knew the sites were back-ins. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a great little campground. We were very surprised when we found out they had 50 amps. The lounge was open and you get one free drink per person. The sites are gravel and level. The club sits up on a hill and there was wind on the day we arrived. This is a great stop for an overnight. We will stop here again on our way through California. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed one night and found it to be a good spot for an overnight stay. There is no pavement so it is dusty if the wind is blowing and the Wi-Fi is $2.95/night. This park was perfect for the stop on our way to Grand Canyon from California. The park was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. They have a little cafe on site that serves dinner and breakfast. We didn't try the dinner, but the breakfast was a great bargain. We ordered one plate and split it between the two of us. We stayed here in December, so there weren't many from the lake going crowd. However, this would be a great place to stop if wanting to hit the river in the warmer months. The Wi-Fi was $2.99, but we didn't try it out. They did have about 5 TV stations accessible via antenna. They didn't have a ton of amenities, but the place is what it advertises, and the price wasn't bad. Would stay again if in the area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

A typical KOA, right off the highway, so there is highway noise. All gravel, but with huge flowering Oleander bushes separating the sites, so you have privacy between sites. Quail in the campground, fun to watch the families scatter around. No designated pet walk area, you have to use the desert behind it or next door. Level sites and plenty of room in the site to stay hooked up or park next to your trailer. Right down the road about 200 yards is a fancier looking RV park, with lots of big Class A's in it. It looked nicer, but this one was fine for us passing through. I think we were one of only 8 units in the whole campground that night. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We had a very nice stay. Be warn though IT IS HOT. Furthermore, your GPS won't work properly so call for directions. A nice campground. Carla, the owner is very sweet. We loved our site it was completely private, bushes on both sides. It definitely did not feel like a KOA. There is not much going on in the campground but definitely in a great location for visiting the Mojave desert, Havasu Lake, Las Vegas, the Alamos. The sites are not really level but the air card worked perfectly however there was NO CELL phone Reception. Even with all the shade the satellite worked great. Needles is Needles, but at least this was a pretty decent park. It had just rained heavily that day so it was extremely humid and warm. The sites are all gravel, some have decent shade trees and some have oleander bushes for shade, and shade is critical in Needles. Park is well maintained; staff is very friendly and accommodating. We have stayed here many times on the way to and from Arizona and points east. It is a very nice, well-maintained KOA and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. The pull-thrus are long enough for my 41 foot MH plus towed vehicle and all the utilities work as advertised. The park is quiet and peaceful...a pleasant place to stay. Everyone is right about the price of fuel. Needles may have the highest prices in the country. What ever you do, don't plan on filling up here. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This place was great for a quick stop-over on my way home from Grand Canyon. The staff was very friendly and the lot was well designed for pull-through. Water pressure was great and the dump station was easy to use. The park was quiet from people though there was a lot of road noise from the nearby interstate. The showers only have curtains for privacy so I decided to use my own. Note that most GPS systems do not lead you here correctly for some reason even with a full address, so call for directions instead. Luckily for me the host warned me about that when I asked for an address. Sure enough, the GPS was off by several miles. I'm rating 9 due to showers, as I prefer locking private rooms but otherwise the site was exceptionally clean - not even a tumbleweed was blowing around. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Overnight stop, 2nd visit in two years. Easy to find and plenty of room for slide on TT. Gravel roads and sites with tall bushes between sites. Would stay again. Filled up at Westside Shell in Needles, and paid highest price for entire trip, $3.099/gal (and I needed 48 gallons for my F150)!! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Clean RV Park, but needles is not exactly scenic. Wonderful management staff, large,
clean pool (go in summer and you'll REALLY appreciate it), and a playground. There are no spots that are truly shaded, but the management has planted barrier bushes between the sites that block most of the late afternoon sun. Brutally hot, but that is just Needles. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Check in staff member not friendly, and acted as if I was interrupting her reading. No pet facilities. No grass for pet area, anywhere. If you travel with pets, go somewhere else. Not a good experience...Oh, the Wi-Fi is "pay by the minute". We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very clean, well run park along the Colorado River, with pull through and back in sites. The store has a good selection of camping gear, clothing, food, snacks, and RV supplies. Laundry facilities were very clean ($1.50 wash/$1 dry). Park staff was very helpful; even to suggesting we check out the sites for one with a shade tree. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I have stayed here many times over the past 10 or 12 years. The park is well run and except for holiday weekends, is easy to get around in. On holiday weekends, the place is a zoo and can get quite noisy. I have camped in my motorhome and in a tent. I recommend this campground except on holiday weekends; e.g., Memorial Day. The last camped date is wrong because the web site didn't work properly. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is deceiving. When we first drove in, I thought "Oh, another parking lot." But after we were settled and started exploring, we learned that there are some really pretty, private, water-view and water-front sites here. So drive around all the loops before you make a selection. There is a great pool, with a nice view across the lawn to the boat traffic on the Colorado River. Also, there is a sandy swimming beach on the river, but the thing that really sold us on this park was the helpfulness and kindness of the staff. We had slide-out problems when we attempted to leave, which were eventually solved by one of the park staff members. He didn't have to help us but spent a good amount of time diagnosing the problem, as well as soliciting professional help from the community. Unlike other experiences we had in California RV parks, the staff at this one earned our respect. We would stay here again (even though it was 108 degrees when we arrived!). We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Pluses are it is easy to move about in, It is near the river and has a boat launch, and a large store. Negatives are after dark you are on your own and quiet hours mean nothing. We had two coaches next to us party after quiet hours with their dog running loose and no one cared but the staff were at our coach at 9 am to make sure we were out of the spot. The check out time was 5pm but as it was Friday on mothers day week end they needed the spot. We had told them we would be out by 10 am. I would say it might be a hit or miss type of campground. There are no big box stores in Needles so you have to go to Lake Havasu for Wal-Mart or Home Depot. If in area again might go to Havasu or the KOA. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rest rooms and showers better and more modern than at many campgrounds. Young woman at desk very cordial. Nice store with a selection of items including food items. At nightly price would be nice if WiFi were free rather than $3. Not exactly easy to get to without paying close attention to direction in Trailer Life Directory. No signs posted on I-40 or on streets direction one to this facility. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Train noise was constant and loud. This RV park is for those that want to be near the activities the Colorado River offers, not a good one for just an overnighter. Level gravel sites, full pull thrus, antenna tv gets 6 channels, Wifi is $2.50 per day. Lots of campers in tents, which resulted in restrooms/showers not being very clean due to over use. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Stopped for a night while passing through. Wasn't expecting much. Wow! A nice surprise.
The park was mostly empty as the snowbirds were heading home. Right on the Colorado River. Nicely groomed, parklike grass area at the perimeter and along the river. A lot more large trees than you would expect in the desert. Sandy beach (careful ... the river is flowing fast). Great pool and spa. We now have a new place to stop on the run to So. Cal. Stayed in a 5th wheel in March, 2004. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Park was almost empty when we visited in October. We backed into a site that left us about
20 feet to a sandy beach on the Colorado River. Roads and sites are combination of asphalt, sand and gravel. Park is dusty. Not many trees but you are in the desert. Park has a parking lot feel in most of it. Had a very nice and modern pool and spa. We had a fun time and will stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We've stayed here 2 times. Off I-40. CTC affiliate park. Nice pool and hot tub. Employees are friendly and nice. Lots of planned activites. Close to Laughlin & Bullhead City and Oatman. I would give it a higher mark but Wifi is available only in the clubhouse. Very inconvenient. Would stay again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed under C2C and were put up in the worst possible place on the upper level next to the trailer storage area. Luckily we were only staying one night. Road noise was pretty bad. Sites closer to the river would be better for a longer stay. Snowbirds abound and some of the sites were starting to look pretty tacky. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We've stayed here 3 times. Coast-to-Coast affiliate park. Nice pool and hot tub. Management people are nice, helpful. Potlucks, barbecues, breakfasts, ice cream parties, etc. Handy to Laughlin & Bullhead City. Oatman, too! We stayed one week, later two weeks, two weeks again. Only downside: Propane not available and propane trucks not permitted in. So come in full if you plan an extended stay. Otherwise, you have to drive into town for a refill. Aside from all that, we'll stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is ok. If you like to swim, the pool area is amazing. It's beautiful. We have two dogs that love to romp and hike. There wasn't much for them to do. There is a very small beach area where they could play, but it was under the condition that no one else was here (we understood this). The restrooms were very far away from our site. The site was completely gravel. We probably will not stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Manufactured Home park that added RV spaces. The spaces are huge. The view is beautiful. Large pool, two hottubs, and kiddy pool. Tennis/basketball court, FREE gameroom, workout room. Would have given the park a 10 but pool not heated, hottubs were not kept even warm. Only after complaints by many rv'ers were they turned up some but not enough. Showers are just two small rooms not a bathhouse of any kind. Only 2 washers and 2 dryers. Still a nice place to stay. Staff very nice. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park is a manufactured homes park, that due to the economic downturn the owner turned 40 plus sites into a RV parking. Monthly rates are very good for what you get facility wise. The sites are very big, all red rock gravel with nice view of distant mountains and beautiful entry way with a gate. Pool with 2 heated spas and heated kiddie pool, exercise room, game room, tennis courts and practice golf nets all top notch. Office help is great. WiFi is sketchy but free and is being worked on.The only negative is that the large pool is not heated. ATV, four wheelers, two wheelers and the sand buggies are out and the noise is sometimes very loud and the park is noisy till way past quiet time, so that is why it was not rated higher. We camped here in a Motorhome.
