There are two upper loops. The loop on the right has several sites that will fit my 31' trailer. The lower loops are for RVs under 24'. I had to drive around the large loop twice, and it is not designed as a drive around loop. I had to drive back and forward several times to get around one corner. It is a meadow setting, so no rocks or trees to hamper backing into site. Good south sun for solar panels. Camp road is paved. Nice showers and restrooms, fairly new. Very quiet, no highway noise. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We enjoyed our stay here, especially with the elk coming right down to the camping sites. The attendant in the visitor's center was particularly helpful. The cost was high, however, for a state park with no utilities. And the prohibition from dogs on any of the paths made the stay difficult for us with our pets. Although the only sites indicated for RVs were in the open near the meadow, we found many sites down in the trees that would be fine even with my friend's 32' Class C. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed at Elk Prairie Campground, one of several in the state park (the fee of $7.50 for a reservation is not included in the above price). This is a great state park with beach access and redwoods access, plenty of big trees, campfire programs, elk meadows. Our site, 42, had a secluded picnic table and fire pit. There are a lot of low-hanging trees around. Maximum camper length is 27 feet. The restrooms have hot water and the showers are coin-operated but quite modern. Nice visitors center. We camped here in a Motorhome.
