The rate reflects the $2.00 senior discount. The campground is very nice and the spacing between sites is very nice. We were there for 3 nights, and the had a very nice site, #79 the first night. We tried to move into one of the other loops for the next two nights, but the district rangers office couldn't decide if they were going to close the loop we were in and another one that we wanted to move into. They finally decided to close both, but said we could pick almost any other spot in the remaining loops, including group sites. We selected #21 in a group loop, and wanted to pay for two nights, but they would only let us do one night, and then if it wasn't reserved for a group the next night, we could have it again. Kind of an unnecessary runaround, since you have to reserve two nights in advance through Reserve America. Just seemed like a lot of unnecessary bureaucracy. There is a very convenient dump station within the park, and potable water is available. Other than being overpriced for what you get, it was very nice. But that's the way California State Parks are these days.
We camped here in a Motorhome.
