I was surprised not to see this one listed yet - it is a gem of the Colorado State Park system. We have stayed here two years in a row and greatly enjoyed it. The lake draws the fishermen and there is a great trail to hike around it. You can ride your ATV right out of the campground and there are miles of legal roads to ride up in the mountains. The stars at night here are breathtaking on a clear night - no light pollution. The rangers patrol after dark and keep the place in control. They also have yurts and cabins. I almost hate to let the cat out of the bag on this place.. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
