This RV parking was enthusiastically recommended by another blogger and was everything they said it was! My husband and I loved it. Granted - this is not a real RV campground - but is a great place to stay if you are looking for a weekend destination. The view from the designated RV lot was spectacular! We were high up and had a delightful breeze and sat outside with our awning extended, reading, eating and just delighting in the view and weather. In the evening we took the convenient shuttle to the casino, had dinner and walked around for several hours. While we relied on only our trailer for its power, the battery and propane were enough for an overnight to make breakfast, lunch; our water tank was full so we had everything we needed. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a great place to park while going to the casino, especially on a rainy weekend. There is no cost for staying here. It's not a campground, but more a place to park. Call for a permit and security gives you a pass good for seven. It's dry camping, so it's better for short stays. They have a shuttle service to the casino. We camped here in a travel trailer. For a casino parking lot, they have one of the best! We ended up with a spot over looking the river: a great view. They bend over backwards for those looking for a No Cost alternative to over-nighters and even extended stays of others. Good shuttle service to Casino, and the Casino itself is beautiful. If back this way again, we will stay again. I might add, a much better offering than the park down the road. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I emailed the Casino and they sent me a web link to print a permit. When you arrive just follow the signs for over sized vehicles bearing to the right. There is a sign with a phone number to call and the guard will meet you to fill out a permit. The lot for RV parking overlooks the river and the spaces along the perimeter are level. The ones in the center are slightly sloped but not a problem. Being April, there were probably 50 RVs, so plenty of room and you could put your slides out. Security guard was very pleasant. The shuttle bus was running every 20 minutes and dropped us off right at the main hotel. We will return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
As a previous 'camper' stated, it's a great place to stay if you are seeing a show and don't want to get stuck in traffic or drive home. A shuttle bus goes thru every 10 to 15 minutes 24/7. A parking pass is issued free of charge, just for security sake. Apparently issues of people dumping down sewer drains. Granted no shade. But if you get there early enough you can get a 'river view'. We camped here in a Motorhome.
There is no cost for staying here, but you must put in a dollar amount. This is not a campground, but the casino has a large blacktop parking area set aside for RVs. You have to call for a permit and security gives you a pass good for seven days dry camping! When we were there it was packed with approximately 30-50 RVs. They have a shuttle service from this lot to the casino. We camped here in a Motorhome.
