Chokoloskee Island Park has nice staff. The lots are extremely close, no privacy, no shade. Really set up for a cheap place to tent camp. We moved to Outdoor Resorts of America - Chokoloskee. Outdoor Resorts is absolutely the cleanest big rig resort we have ever stayed at. If you want big, private, shaded, and clean, I suggest Outdoor Resorts. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The restrooms are like new and super clean! There are 3 swimimg pools and hot tubs. The view over Chokoloskee Bay and the Everglades National Park is fantastic. Wow!!! What a fantastic park! The lots are individually owned, so the owners have all landscaped them nicely. There is a marina on the property for bait, tackle, ice, etc. Very quiet after 8pm which is very nice! GREAT PLACE! We camped here in a Motorhome.

The $38 was a Good Sam rate. This park is right on the Chokoloskee Bay with a view of some of the Ten Thousand Islands and the Everglades. It's aimed primarily toward people with boats and anglers. Only 20 of the sites are available for short-timers, and there are a lot of permanent homes. The sites are limited to RVs of 28 feet or less and the spaces are very tight, but there's enough room for a picnic table and there are public outdoor seating areas with nice patio furniture along the docks. The cable is free, the wi-fi is $5/day, $10 week and was erratic. The bathrooms are new and clean and look like they should be in somebody's house. There's even a hair dryer in the women's room. The washers are $1.50, dryers $1.50 for 48 minutes. We stayed on a Monday night (MLK Day), and the dumpsters were overflowing with trash, but they weren't near our site. Nice staff. This is a private owned park with condominium owned sites, the sites of which owners can rent out; We rented a site for three nites. The only other RV campground on Chokoloskee island is a crammed together apparent dump with a lot of long stays. The sites at Outdoor resorts are pristine kept, lush grass between paved sites, beautiful palm trees and flowering plants. Crews trim the plants and trees and garbage bags are collected from the sites every morning. The bathrooms are 4+ clean and spotless; and even have a bathtub. The sites are close and an older section sites are a bit closer than the newer section. There is a boat launch ramp. The outer sites are on the water with decks and some boat lifts. Pricy, but very nice. You can bike the town and the causeway out to Everglade City (2 miles) where is a National Park Service Nature Center and boat tour of the Mangrove swamps. Not a 10 because of the closeness of sites and the price. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A gem in the Everglades! A true A-class RV Resort. Paved roads and concrete slab lots that are landscaped and maintained to a T! Some Bay front lots with boat docks, some lake front with docks, and some interior lots. Golf cart friendly. 3 pools, 3 hot tubs, 3 bath houses. Full time maintenance crew. All lots are individually owned, so there is a condo association to keep everything A+ perfect. Lots of big rigs! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground is top in quality. The pools are great. The Wi-Fi is free and great at site 283. The only complaint is the water coming out of the tap is slightly green. We used a Britta filter to clear the water up. The area is beautiful but stores are scarce. So stock up! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Out of the way luxury resort. Most sites are sold to permanent residents, but some can be rented for the night. Beautiful park with active resident parties open to nightly guests, pool and hot tub. Many sites have water access and boat slips. Great place to relax. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Fantastic site but unfortunately also a fantastic price. $90 per night would buy you a nice hotel room in most places. Seaside spot with a fabulous view and in general piece and quiet. The entire camp ground was pretty much deserted but we was told that in about a month time most sites would be occupied. Would have expected a free wireless connection for $90 per night, therefore "only" a 9 rating. We camped here in a Motorhome.

If you want absolute quiet and relaxation this is the place. This is not the place if you are looking for nightlife and excitement nearby. We splurged on a waterfront site with dock and loved it. We easily maneuvered our 43 ft motorhome over paved asphalt roads onto large concrete pad. The staff were professional and down home friendly. Grounds were clean and well maintained. The resort offered three pools all were quiet due to low season and were clean and well kept. The best sunset we experienced was at this resort. Rent a boat, go fishing or just relax. Perfect place to get away from it all! Can't wait to go back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Cleanest and best maintained park we have stayed at in 20 years of RVing! Lots are individually owned, so each owner has landscaped and done some very nice upgrades. Big rigs everywhere. This place is a lost little jewel, with barely any advertising on the internet available. Do yourself a favor, book a site! Their web site photos are 25 years old, so don't be fooled by the old coaches in the photos. We are thinking of spending the entire next winter here! The waterfront sites are on Chokoloskee bay. Excellent fishing! 3 swimming pools and hot tubs. The bath houses are like new. Must have been remodeled recently. The cleanest restrooms and showers we have ever come across in an upscale RV park. EXCELLENT PARK! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice park located on Chokoloskee Island. Only concerns are very narrow roads with tight turns. And I do mean very tight turns. Saw a near fight (great profanity and accusations regarding fitness to drive, intelligence of the drivers rear end, ethnicity etc) between a new arrival and a guest concerning how close the new coach came to the resident's coach. Mostly longer term guests who are there for the fishing. Very nicely kept with no evidence of decaying rigs etc. Both WiFi and Cell reception very marginal at best. Don't rely on having either when you need it. WiFi is for a fee ($25.00 per month). Most everybody is friendly and likeable. Park activities are available for all guests, not just owners, and you will feel welcome. Registration is unorganized and you are on your own to find your site, which I find a little strange considering how much the sites cost. Stock up your fridge, it's a long way to a Grocery store or a Wal Mart (Naples) (The so called "Supermarket" in Everglades City is one of the worst I have ever seen.) Local seafood is excellent and plentiful. We will stay here again. Just be aware of those tight turns! We camped here in a Motorhome.
