Easy stop on I-10. Long pull-throughs will handle a 45' coach and tow. Gravel road, grass sites. Utilities work fine. A few unkept permanent sites and the very dusty access road will keep us from using it again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Right off the highway. Nice for a quick stop or long term stay but not a family fun park. The bathrooms were clean. The sites are very narrow. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
The park is basically very nice. The road in is gravel but in nice shape. The park has grass sites with 30 and 50 amps. The WiFi is good. The water and sewer all work fine. We will stay again if in area. The owner is very nice and helpful. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
As mentioned in the earlier reviews, this campground is right off I-10, and good for an overnight stay. However, the traffic noise was rather annoying all night. Nothing fancy, but full hook-ups are nice. Not sure if we'd stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park is just off I-10 and very easy to find for an overnight stay. Traffic noise was minimal. The laundry room was very clean but the swimming pool didn't look usable. The entrance road is gravel but not too bad, just take it slow. The grass and dirt sites are a little narrow but accessible and fairly level. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a very basic park. The Wifi, electricity, water, and sewer were all outstanding. The entrance road and interior roads were acceptable, but not great. The owner was most helpful. This is a good park to stop when traveling on I-10. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We spent one night here: a good stop after a day of driving because of the convenience to the internet. While the sites will fit a big rig, the road in, entrance, and interior roads are a bit tight for large coaches, but you can make it with little trouble. Not a lot of amenities here, but a level place to park with full hookups. The rating may be a bit harsh, but after 2.5 months in an Outdoor Resorts location, we have a very high view of what a "10" is. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Good park - owners are very friendly, and run a clean, relaxing park. Present owners said they have had the place 12 years, and pointed out the landscaping work they have done - and it is nice. Well laid out, lots of trees, but satellite reception can be had - they ask you which you prefer. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I believe this is a newer park and perhaps just getting started. The sites are not very level. In fact we had a difficult time leveling our 38' RV for the first time. The park manager who I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and told us to take the spot we liked when we arrived. I checked in via paper outside the front door as there was nobody in the office. This is not a destination park and there are no playgrounds for children. There are three fenced pet runs which, along with the location, is one of the reasons we choose this park. There are a couple of gas stations and some fast food nearby but no grocery stores that I could locate. The park is a diamond in the rough but really needs some work. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Lovely sites near pond with lots of vegetation around. Site was good size, private, backed up to pond. RV park is next to a state park with boat launch; nice place to look at the river. Stayed 1 night. Remote area, no cell phone service. Rate was with Passport America. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Passport America price. We were here three nights. No gators, but plenty of biting sand flies. Checked the rest rooms and showers, and they are in need of some major cleaning. Glad we have our own working toilet and shower. Skinny paved roads in and out of park. Easy in for a HDT and 35 ft trailer, but a little tight on the way out. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
If you're looking to get away from it all this is the place, no cell phone signal, no wifi, just nature. Very big level full hook-up sites and because of the landscaping they are very private. There are two ponds, one with five little gators that we saw and the other with 3 little gators (under four-foot). There are a lot of fisherman in this park since the boat ramp is less then a 100-yards away. Take whatever supplies you're going to need since it's about a 20-mile drive (one way) to the nearest grocery. The restrooms were old but clean and the staff was very friendly. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Older park. Sites were back-in with bushes closing off each site. Had a table and we were backed up to a pond. Well kept campground. Biting bugs in the evening. Fronds needed to be trimmed on the exit side. Large club room with books. Small store on site. Approximately 25 miles west of Perry. Not close to Lamont. About 1 1/2 mile walk to the Gulf of Mexico. Personnel were friendly. Very restful and friendly resort. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Not a bad park, but quite old. The rate was for RPI. We had trouble with the 30 amp electricity and decided to leave early. It's also far off the main roads. Don't know if I would stay there again-probably not. We camped here in a Motorhome.
