The RV sites were near the pool and rest rooms. Our motorhome would not fit on the first site we were given. Our motorhome is 41 foot long. We did fit OK on the next site we were given. The sites were grass and dirt. We did not use the rest rooms or showers so we could not comment on how clean they were. We used a discount card and paid half price. The park is not worth the full $50 per night price. We would stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

While this clean, conveniently located park is predominately for permanent residents, it is RV friendly and spots are spacious. The RV section is near the pool, laundry, office, etc., and the spots are not mixed in with the permanent folks. We used a camping club to get half priced nights, and so price was reasonable. Would not have paid full price. Camp staff was helpful, facilities very well maintained, and easy in and out. We'd stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This older, conveniently located park was neat and clean, with many social activities and a sparkling pool. Office staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Our major complaint was the extremely tight spots. We had one of their very limited larger pull-thru sites. We felt like sardines and would not extend our stay even though we would have liked to be in the area longer. Would not stay here again unless we had no other choice. WIFI was dependable. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This campground is advertised as a Passport America campground. The only restriction listed was that PA was not good for the months of Jan, Feb and Mar. Upon arrival, Dec 17, 2007, I was told the PA rate was only good for 1 night. If that is the case it should be listed in the PA Directory listing as a restriction. I did not stay here. While we were here the site was very full of long term rentals. The facilities were in excellent shape. The restrooms were always clean. The pool was open, heated and well used. The staff was more than helpful. This is the first time we have had a welcome lady come to the trailer after we were set up and give us information on the site and the facilities in Naples. This site is definitely geared to adults at this time of the year, but there are things for children to do. Wi-fi was available and free, but it was spotty reception at the site we were in. There are many things to see and do in the area. Only reasons for the low rating were that the sites were small, crowded and hard to get into and out of. We had to ask the neighbors to move their cars so we could leave. If you were looking for a place for several months it would be nice, except for the crowding. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

After making reservations months ahead of time for our 33 foot fifth wheel and then driving 3 days to our destination, we barely had time to get out of our truck when we were approached by a man who measured our fifth wheel. We were told our RV measured more than 33 foot. They measured on the out side from front to back including the bumper and ladder. They did not care that the key next to the door and the title said it was a 33 foot fifth wheel. They said we should be more careful in measuring our RV. This was at 4:30 in the afternoon. Most campground offices were closing for the day and almost every campground was booked. We asked them where we were suppose to go at that late hour. They stated they did not know. We were devastated. They didn't even apologize and were very rude. We thought we might receive a call or note from the owner to apologize for the misunderstanding. After all they did have our name and address, but we never did. For two weeks we moved around from campground to campground. It was a total nightmare. I must say all the other campgrounds in the area were very helpful in trying to help us find places to stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Clean RV Resort. Sites and streets are very narrow. Fortunely two sites across from our site were empty otherwise individuals using sites on either side would have had to remove toad vehicles from street area. When we arrived we were told area between utility hookup poles was ours. Neighbor (who's motorcoach was gone upon arrival) returned and promptly extended slide 2 feet into our area and had the nerve to ask us to take down our awning so he could park his rig. Although children are allowed, the park was noticably vacant of children and planned activities related to adults. I would think long and hard before I would use this resort again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

As other reviewers have mentioned, this state park is in dire need of an upgrade. Broken restroom door latches were "fixed" with hook-and-eye additions, leaving door gaps. Showers have one curtain each, a hook or two, no bench except in the handicapped stall. Trail boardwalk has many loose, rotted planks. The RV loop has cramped sites and narrow lanes which are a challenge to negotiate in an larger rig. On the positive side, spaces are shady. There is good water access for boats, canoes, yaks. Hiking trails onsite and nearby are good, from very short to very long. Birding opportunities are very good, especially in season. Many natural attractions are within driving distance, and civilization, if needed, is a short trip west. Volunteers and rangers were very nice and happy to answer questions. Ice cream social and continental breakfast were offered at a nominal fee. Please note that we paid the Florida resident senior rate; otherwise it would have been $24/night. Park is old and in need of upgrading. Sites are extremely close with fire ring almost under neighbors trailer. Roads very narrow. Restrooms very dated. Worst FL state park we have stayed at. We camped here in a Motorhome.

There are a lot of things we love about Collier Seminole but the campground is not one of them and the weather during this trip brought out all its deficits. It was cold, with temperatures down to the 20s at night and there were several nights with rain some of it torrential. The whole campground was muddy, rutted and some areas were absolutely flooded. Sites are small, way too close together and there is not gravel or other surface to absorb water. Electrical couldn't handle the high use of space heaters. Bathrooms were in sad shape, with showers offering only a skimpy vinyl curtain and no place to hang your clothes so they did not get wet. The best things about the park are the people, the staff and volunteers, proximity to Marco Island, Naples and the Everglades. This place is popular as it is as far south as we can go other than the Keys but is is sorely in need of renovation. We hope the state puts it on the priority list. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We camped here during the holiday week. The sites are very open except for a small tent area which seemed to have more privacy. The water and electric were set very strangely and not user friendly. The fire ring was also in a very strange place. Kayaking here through the mangroves was fun and we saw an alligator in the water. The restrooms were clean and the showers stayed hot. Not a bad location to go into the everglades, Marco Island or Fort Myers. There is a very cool preserve if you turn right out of the park and take a very short drive. We walked there a few times and saw roseate spoonbills, woodstorks and other herons, egrets, etc. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Mosquitoes,mosquitoes and more mosquitoes! We could hardly walk our dogs, even wrapped in two towels and sprayed with repellent. We live in Florida, however, we have never seen anything like this infestation. The park is ok, our site was fine. The rangers were very nice. We spent 3 days inside, wanted to kayak and fish, but, there was no way we could stay outside. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Camped over the Memorial Day weekend. The Park was quiet and the facilities were clean but old. Somehow we were given site 24 which is marked as a handicapped spot, the only difference was that the drive way is paved. reserved via ReserveAmerica as expected there were plenty of mosquitoes, but this is the edge of the Everglades. We took a short canoe trip down the river. This is an excellent staging area to visit Everglades NP. No good swimming areas unless you pay $8/car at Marco. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice park. Staff very friendly and efficient. Sites smaller than most state parks, but adequate. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I realize that many of the reviews regarding this campground are negative, but that was not our experience. The bathrooms, showers and site were all clean. The rangers were helpful and check in was a breeze. There are many places to walk our dog. Our site was a pull through that had lots of shade. There were several tents in the sites next to us, but the people were quiet and respectful. They were approximately 13 children and many adults and by the time quiet time came, they were in their tents and quiet. That was the same for both nights we stayed. In the early evening since there was no TV the children were out playing. It sounded good to have children out giggling and laughing and not sitting in front of video games. We got one TV station with rabbit ears. In the morning it was also quiet. There were mosquitoes, but this is Florida. I am sure there are no flying bugs in places where it is now snowing. The weather was beautiful with high 70's during the day and 60's at night. There is lots to do in the area. We have reservations for a February weekend and are looking forward to it. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We have a large motorhome with a small car in tow and it was tight going around some turns but we made it. The campground is clean. Good places to walk the pets and wonderful place for kids to be kids and ride their bikes, scooters etc.. We used this park as a base for touring. A drive to Shark Valley was an hour away. Hope to return next December. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Each site has a picnic table and fire ring and is unpaved.Paved interior roads are narrow and tree-lined, making it very difficult to get our 32 ft 5th wheel into our 33 ft. lot. There is a playground, laundry, social events, guided nature tours, rental canoes and guided canoe trips, boat launch, and hiking trails of different levels of difficulty. The "walking dredge" displayed there is a mechanism of historic significance to the building on the Tamiami Trail. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Rangers were very nice. Our was site very narrow and had tents on our site when we got there, with too many people on tent site next to us. There were tents pitched right under my bedroom slide. We heard snoring all night and very noisy guitar playing. We moved to another site. Same thing--tents next to us playing soccer with kids at 7:30 AM. Everything was too close. We will never go back We camped here in a Motorhome.

Our visit to Collier Seminole Park got off to a bad start when we were greeted at the check-in station by a somewhat confused and uninformed staff of volunteers. They did not have a clue on how to check us in to our reserved site and could not provide any FACTUAL information about the park itself to help our stay. Our site was litterally right on top of our neighbors tent. They had to park their car 3 feet from our RV door. This is one of Florida's older state parks and their facilities show it. Although they were fairly clean, they sure need to be refurbished and updated. After checking out the park, I would recommend that you try and reserve sites 1-19. These sites are more spacious and secluded from the rest of the campground. The park does have a brackesh water river(Black River) that you can boat, kayak, canoe or fish on. After the first couple of hundred yards of the river you have seen it all. It's all the same for miles mangrove after mangrove, we saw no wildlife at all. And after our trip the park ranger informed us that the fishing on the river was not very good...I wish he would have told us before we set out. We were at this park in January and did have a little bit of a problem with mosquitos at night..I can imagine they are a real threat in the summer months. A small convience store outside the park is nice since the park itself does not have a camp store. This park was OK for a short visit, but I don't think it is worth a return trip. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This park jams 91 RV's into a area that it will not accommodate. We could not even open our awning. The ground is all sand and very messy. Won't go back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The campground itself is typical of most state parks. Not a resort type place at all. We road our bikes around there, rented a canoe for the 'three hour tour' and fished from the banks of the pier. Also there is a convenient small store there, 2 areas for kids to play at. Bath houses/shower were clean. We went when there were not too many skeeters; and the few that were there did not bother us as we sipped cocoa in front or the fire. We had a great time and we'll definitely go back. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Camping as a family we found the boredom level at this campground to be high. Our first night was quiet (on a weekday), however for the rest of our visit neighbors moved in and the peacefull setting was gone. The sites are very close together, and quiet hours were not enforced. The campgroud is small and not much else in the area. The campground is also in a marsh area, so bring alot of bug spray...blood sucking insects rule here! I had planned on fishing, however was told by park staff that I would need a Florida fresh water license. Upon leaving a different member of the park staff told me that this was not true as long as we fished off the bank (I went home and researched it and the second was case). The beaches are a short drive away. This is not a place I would recommend. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

Pleasant park at the edge of the Everglades - good hiking trails - canoeing and boating available. "Friends of the Park" provided continental breakfast for a donation in the recreation pavillion. We camped here in a Tent.

Crystal Lake is a well maintained older RV park. The folks who run the rental and sales office are very helpful and terrific. If you don't mind a 50/50 mix of Park models and motor homes we would highly recommend this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a wonderful park. Everything is well maintained. The restrooms are just like going to a spa, nicely tiled with granite. The water pressure is fantastic. There is no WI-FI here, but you can come to one of the club houses and hook up to high speed internet. The gym is nice with lots of different machines and free weights. We are here in the off season, so we have the place to ourselves. I am sure the prices go up "In Season". There is a special section just for large motorhomes. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The best and friendliest site we stayed on during our trip. The gentleman who seems to run the park, could not have been friendlier or more helpful. There is a large pool which is covered to stop bugs and very opulent facilities. Would definitely stay here again and use it as a base to explore a wider area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The most elite park I have ever seen. Beautiful spaces plus double wide park models. Lake was clean and 2 mile easy walk around. We could easy live here. Of course we were here when the humidity was low. Pools were screen protected as was the park with security gates. Easy access to sightseeing in both directions. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for the second time as we have family nearby. It is not near downtown Naples, but out in the suburbs with 5 lane roads in either direction and lots of traffic and strip malls. However, once in the park it is a different world; the landcaping is spectacular and the pull in sites on the lake wonderful.Large paved sites with nice outdoor furniture, very quiet, beautiful pool, hot tub and exercise room and we found people to be very friendly. We did not know until our last day on our first stay that all the information on activities is posted in the clubhouse, and there is lots to do if one should chose to keep busy. We prefer parks with only RV's and there are many park models here, but we were in a motorhome only section, and the park models are very nice and in excllent condition. There were children in the pool and riding bikes, but I think it was due to families visiting grandparents for spring break and Easter, and this would not be a good spot for families to vacation. The grounds are very much like a park with many lush flowering plants, lush lawns and trees. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We are staying in this resort for one month. I find it to be an excellent park. Very, very clean. It does have a lot of park models but it is a beautifully taken care of resort. We first stayed in an area amongst park models, we then asked to be moved to an area with just motorhomes. They accommodated us with no problem. We have totally enjoyed our time here. Everyone is very friendly and really hope that you will join in the parks activities. This resort is also located in a perfect area, close to tons of beaches, restaurants and attractions. We camped here in a Motorhome.

First of all this isn't an RV resort ,unless all of the double wide park models had wheels I couldn't see. The park is overpriced and unorganized. The guy at the office couldn't find our reservation even after I showed him the confirmation. It was probably in the pile of papers on his clutterd desk. Park models are mixed with Motorhomes and fifth wheels with no apparent plan. Not a real dog friendly place unless you happen to be close to the dog park. There are a lot of nice RV resorts in the Naples area but this isn't one of them. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was an excellent campground. Actually it's more of a resort: very pricey, but a great park. Located about 6 miles from the beaches. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed one week in our motor home. The cleanest (hands down) and one of the best managed & landscaped parks we have ever stayed in (25 years RV'ng). Friendly staff, friendly 'residents'. Great pools & other facilities. Publix, banks and basic restaurants within a 5 minute walk. We stayed on two waterfront sites (it was so nice we decided to extend our original stay but had to move onto another site to do so). We loved it. One annoying feature: a bar coded 'gate pass' is necessary to get in (and definitely after 9 p.m. when the guard-house is empty). Ours worked maybe 50% of the time, which was a little irritating. Happily we never got stuck outside the heavy iron gate after 9 pm. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a beautifully maintained park. The sites are large and paved. We were in a site which backed up to the lake. The landscaping is very nice. Restrooms are at both pool areas and are modern and immaculate. The two pools are not very large but well maintained and screened. There is an excellent library. Very close to shopping and restaurants as well as about 8 miles from the beach. There is a bike trail right outside the front gate which is nice for walking and biking. While quite pricey, everything in this area of FL is high during the fall and winter months and after looking at other resorts in the area, we feel that this is the best. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Truly, a LUXURY resort. Everything is FIRST CLASS from the helpful escort to your site, the spacious sites, to the trash pickup and cleanliness of the entire faculty. By far, the best RV park we have stayed in! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We spent 2.5 very enjoyable months at this great park. Campers, staff , entertainment and facilities met our every expectation with the single exception of site Wi-Fi unavailability...a strange deficiency for a park of this caliber. However, our air card compensated for this missing ingredient and we will definitely return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A true 5 star resort. About l/2 park models, l/2 RV sites with 25' lower limit, special Class A section. 2 pools (both under screen) and 2 clubhouses - l small and l large of each. In North Naples just a block down from Immokolee Road on Collier Road (951). Publix, drugstore, other services across street. Well run, spotless, beautifully landscaped park and sites. Many activities in season. Not a resort for kids. What you would expect to get for the price. Traffic in Naples is increasing by the day - almost intolerable Jan-end of March. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This place is great. Everything is spotless and bathrooms in the large clubhouse seem new or recently remodeled. The price is up there, but worth it. Well maintained in every way. We had 2 grandkids with us and they loved the pools, tennis courts, & shuffleboard. I highly reccomend it. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This older park has converted to all being completely filled with older rigs on individually owned lots. We arrived mid-November and were told there was nothing available as were all individually owned. Do not plan on using this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great people at this park make the somewhat crowded sites quite enjoyable. Sites are close, but with plenty of room for awnings and slides. All but a few of the level grassy sites are situated among nice shade trees and everything is very well kept and clean. Each site has a concrete pad with picnic table, and free cable comes with the site. Lots of seasonal people come back year after year and now we know why. Very quiet location just out of town a couple miles off Highway 41. Not a lot to do for children; maybe that's why it's quiet and why we like it so much! And for about the first time, the pictures on their website look just like the park looks in person. Will definitely be back to this lovely and reasonable CG. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We give Kountree Kampinn RV Resort (KK) high marks for a well-run and exceptionally organized RV Resort. My wife and I began searching in 1997 for a place to get away from the harsh New Hampshire winters. We surveyed approximately thirty RV Parks around the Naples, Florida area and utilizing a "Spreadsheet" computer analysis, we compared all of the amenities, rates, and facility descriptions. "Kountree Kampinn RV Resort" came out on top. Sight unseen, we made reservations, packed up, and headed south. We have been returning to "Kountree Kampinn" each year for the past six years. "KK" is also Family Park, which permits us to entertain our children and grandchildren during our winter stay. Pets are also welcome with a minor restriction on size. There is a Modem connection in the spacious air-conditioned "Rec Hall" for the computer folks. The "Free Cable TV" service is easily upgradeable to "Road Runner" which is a high-speed Cable Internet connection capability a feature that we currently enjoy. The activities are expertly run by an experienced and dedicated Activities Director include but not limited to, weekly Saturday Morning Breakfast, holiday dinner and dancing events and Thursday Hot Dog lunches. Also offered are an Intra-Park Shuffle League, KK Golf League, Monthly Gulf Sunset Picnics, and Beach Bocci Ball. These activities are additionally complimented with organized "outside the park" events including Dinner Theater presentations, Cruises, Sightseeing Tours, Casino Excursions and other interesting events. We give "Kountree Kampinn RV Resort a "10" rating. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We did not enjoy our stay at this campground. We were there with grandparents and three children. The only reason I even rated this campground a 3 is because the first impression upon entering was nice and restrooms were clean. Only pretty spots are near the office but then you can have idling vehicles beside your rv for hours and sites are exceptionally hard to get into. One afternoon they tried for two hours to back in a big rig across from us, and once again, yes, we did nothing but inhale fumes. Yet my children weren't allowed to rollerblade because it was bothersome to the fulltimers. Also many sites are beside an extremely busy highway, very noisy and polluted. Management is rude and unknowledgeable, yelled the rules to you and yet their employees on the other side of the park were noisy, had unruly children and had filthy sites (thank heavens we weren't placed there) Their pool looks ok, until their next door neighbors start their all-terain vehicles with out mufflers, you cannot not see across the pool from the exhaust. Although they advertise that children are welcome, I must warn everyone that they are not. The play park for the kids is rusty and run down, the weeds exceed the height of the swing seats and it's right beside the dump station. The fulltimers seriously think they own the place, there were some nice people there I must honestly say, but most were seriously grumpy and had problems. Big letters say, "no children on shuffle board courts", "no walking on the courts." They did nothing but walk on the courts, and employees' children were biking on the courts. My husband left our 13 year old daughter at the courts for just a few minutes to tend to something at the trailer. All she did was sit there for a moment and it didn't take long at all before we had someone come out of their rv yelling the rules at us. They call themselves a friendly family campground, it's more accurate to say that no-one under the age of 65 is welcome. We left early, couldn't stand it anymore. The last straw was when some boorish employee rudely yelled at me because my dog was yelping a little. I was busy unleashing him to take him into our rv, then he yells at us, goes to other rvs and discusses us with other people. He was really standing there as to say, "I told them". We never did get a refund for the two days we didn't stay. Also, there is too much shade in this park. The weather was slightly chilly those two weeks, which made it freeeezing in that park. Never again will I stay there. We camped here in a camper.

The unbelievably low rate was because we got a very special deal for the month of December at this park. I don’t know if they will have it every year, but you can watch their website! The park is an older one, but is very conveniently located for northern Naples and Bonita Springs and is just off the main highway, US 41. There are lots of permanent residents here, but still plenty of spots for RVs. It is, of course, a very popular snowbird destination. The sites are long, but fairly narrow. Our neighbor’s slides were out over our concrete pad. They have a nice pool and a clean laundry room plus daily activities for those who like that sort of thing. They have a truck that comes around to fill propane tanks, which is convenient but pricey. They use Tengonet wi-fi service and since we were staying a month, we decided to pay for it. We had a lot of trouble getting a good signal even though we were only one street away from the office. And when we did get service, it was quite slow. It seemed they didn’t have enough wi-fi antennas or internet ports for the number of sites in the park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We did not enjoy this campground at all. The fire ants are horrible. The mosquitoes ate us alive. The people running the park are rude. They advertise "dog friendly". Not so if you have a larger dog. I was not allowed to walk my dog. I had to put him in the car and ride him to the dog park, when other smaller pets were allowed to do their business on everyones lawn, which having a big dog I would never do. It was like being in jail. The park was so bad we left three weeks early and lost our payment, which they required in full before you see the site. I would not recommend this park to anyone. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here from 5/1/2006 to 9/30/2006. Very nice park!! The managers were very friendly and very helpful, even after we left the park, they made sure all our mail was forwarded to us. There are some year long residents, who were also friendly and helpful. I have no problem recommending this parks to family and friends. I would look forward to staying there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The staff is friendly. There are roo many structures for the area. My slide is touching the next site's awning. The sites are grass with concrete porches. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed overnight at this park. The staff were very nice and everything seemed well-kept. It's surrounded by woods, so it's very quiet and nice for evening walks. The campground was also a great launching point for visiting Big Cypress and the Everglades the next day. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is NOT Big Rig Friendly...!!! Sites are very tight...even pull-throughs were difficult to maneuver out of. There are many full-timers here, in fact 95% of the perimeter of this park is taken with them. The staff is friendly, for the most part. Our "Beef" was the wisdom of the management having a "Biker" rally at the park. This is supposed to be a family campground...but, I don't know too many mothers that would appreciate their youngsters witnessing the drinking and revelries that accompanied this group of campers...or the young ladies that cavorted through the campground in biker's spats...bare-butted with garters and fish-net stockings. Harley motorcycles...and their owners were revving it up...until 3am each night of the "charity" event....otherwise, the park isn't too bad. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We had reservations for two weeks but stayed only 7 nights. The sites are absolutely too close together. With our awning out on one side of the motor home, we were approximately 1 inch from the slide on the next site. On the other side, we literally walked on top of the patio table of our neighbors when walking around the front of our coach to the "hook-up" side. The park appears dedicated to older units as semi-permanent set-ups and some of the residents let your know it's their park. Rates are too high to put up with these issues. In addition to a "stiff" daily rate, you also are required to pay extra for cable TV and for wi-fi when other parks provide within the daily rate. The staff was quite friendly and helpful but even that couldn't overcome the other issues. I wouldn't consider staying there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We arrived about 8:30pm on a Friday while a male host was closing up for the evening. He saw me going through the after-hour check-in packets that had been left outside and asked me to come in to check in formally even though he literally had his key in the door to lock up for the evening. I thought that in itself was a good sign of things to come. Throughout our Labor Day weekend stay, the grounds were populated with children and families all seemingly enjoying themselves, and especially the non-heated pool, which was located directly in front of our pad (B2). The staff was friendly and could be seen making rounds very often, which was reassuring. While we stayed in a 5th wheel, the cabins "looked" very nice, and practically all of them were occupied. Our 50 amp pull-thru pad was gravel, and not paved as the grounds literature states, but clean nonetheless. They have a "rec-center" where they showed two different movies for the kids each weekend night, and one of the hosts rode around in a golf cart announcing the coming movie, and not to be late. Very nice. The only drawbacks were poor drainage from heavy rains, and, (I'm sure a direct result from the heavy rains we endured), the mosquitoes and no-see-ums were in abundance. The sites were close to one another, but not too bad. Nearby there are two Publix's (supermarkets), two drug stores (CVS and Walgreens), diesel and regular fuel stations, as well as a Walmart. Marco Island is not far at all, and very beautiful/residential. I would go back, but most likely in the dry season. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice Place,except way over priced,and the sites are too tight, got to watch not to hit your beighbors awning with your slide out, next year will stay in Silver Ridge??? on Route #951 little ways down towards Marco Island. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice staff who were helpful at all times. The park is beautiful and has quite a few permanent sites. There were activities daily and the winter residents were friendly. The rec hall and store/office were well-maintained and the pool was lovely. Our site was too tight for us because there was a motor home next to us which hindered our view. The permanent sites and those on the outer perimeter seemed larger and would be preferable. We would stay there again but need a larger site. I think it would have helped if we had made our reservation sooner. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

If we were RV'ing, we would surely rate higher, but we are campers in a pop-up, and while the grounds were very clean, there were plenty of activities, and the people were very pleasant, the sites were close, not much shade, and NO privacy. Pretty pricey for the area, but the service was excellent and it was the high season. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

We have stayed here 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 for a week in early March while our children are on spring break. We have four children and usually take along 2 extra. The staff is great, there is a nice pool and hot tub. The campground is clean and neat. The only reason I didn't give a 10 is the sites are a little small (not bad though) and the price is a little more than we usually pay. This campground is very friendly to people of all ages. We definitely recommend it. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great campground to be in. We visited in Feb. 99. It has a beautiful pool, nice hottub. Also, management is very friendly and helpful. The only reason I did not rate it a 10 is because I think the sites could be a little wider and it is also rather pricy. We would camp there again. We camped here in a camper.

This is a beautiful campground. The management is ok. The owners can be very rude at times whenever you see them on the campground. You're being watched for every move you make. Everything is reported to the manager the wrong way.They do expect you to participate . If you don't you're not welcome. No shower and the pool is no bigger than a bathtub. The clubhouse is much too small.They want you to trust them but they don't trust you. This is the only park that we know that wants your money before you get there the following season. Unbelievable. If you don't belong to their clique you're not welcome. I won't be back in this park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is well maintained, and on site personnel are very friendly. We had a great time until the [so called] owners appeared. They seemed to care more about club friends than the people who were paying to stay for a while, not just a weekend. The owner was very rude and had offended quite a few people while we were there. This is not the type of behavior a owner of such a beautiful park should have. This is no way a reflection on the couple who were running the park, they were very nice and helpful and even helped us set up after their work hours. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice clean, quiet campground. I would not describe it as a family campground since there are no facilities for children. It is geared for older people with a motor coach. It is the first campground we have come across that does not provide bathroom or shower facilities, you have to use your RV's facilities. It is well situated two miles from downtown Naples and four miles from its pier. Shopping is well catered for by a Wal-Mart and Publix stores close by. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very friendly, beautifully landscaped campground with easy access into and from within the park. Sites are large and paved. They have just completed the pool, which appears quite nice but is not yet open. The park is located on a main road, so there is quite a bit of road noise, especially on the row closest to the street. The wifi was flaky, cutting out a few times each day. The technical support person tried to help but could not fix the problem. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Newer ownership, great managers, new landscaping lead to an enjoyable stay. New facilities are under construction and should be completed by March 2008. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

There is easy access off U.S. Highway 41. Sites and interior roads are paved. The landscaping was beautiful. The park is under new ownership and management. Both the owners and managers were wonderful. The park has been completely renovated. A new clubhouse is being constructed. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is my new standard for a rating of 10. The owners and staff are very friendly, the sites are beautifully landscaped and provide plenty of privacy. Area beaches and restaurants provide plenty of things to do, and the weather is almost always good. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park was really a ten out of ten. The location between Marco Island and Naples gave us the opportunity to see all the local attractions without wasting time driving. The pool and spa were spotless, the people and staff very nice and helpful. The lake spot we were given was beautiful. We will surely be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We immediately fell in love with this park. The lush tropical landscaping gives each lot an island feel. Despite what I had heard and read, the people here were super friendly. If you don't like motorcycles, especially loud ones, you might find this to be less than paradise at times. However, I found the motorcycle owners to be respectful of others most of the time. The park is well kept and is probably one of the top two or three in the entire country for beauty and weather. I highly recommend that you spend a week or a few months here. I'll be back for sure. This is a very high end luxury RV resort for class A large diesel motorhomes. Beautifully done and landscaped lots mostly privately owned but some are for sale in the $200-$400K range with about 40% on the lake front which is very beautiful and well landscaped. It is like going to a very nice golf country club. We have a nice Monaco Dynasty 40' tag which we think is great but it was definitely in the lower end of the MHs there with an abundance of Prevosts, Newells, Beavers and other super high end coaches. They require you have a luxury motor home to use the facilities. It is very clean and the staff is nice and leaves you alone. Off season was $60 which I consider very reasonable considering the large lot of 60' x 120' done with paver's, planters, exotic palm trees and tropical landscaping. It probably deserves a 10 but it was a bit too sterile and neat for us. Note the west end is too close to the highway and somewhat noisy. I recommend it highly to those that are looking for something like this and we will probably visit again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This RV Resort is a true 10. We stayed here 2 nights and it felt like a resort. Most all units are upper end and sites are kept sparkling clean. Sites are privately owned and easily rented before January. After January its pretty much booked by the owners. Will stay here again when ever in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Beautiful upscale resort for motorcoaches with most sites on the lake. All lots are private ownership, with some in the rental pool. We stayed on a beautiful wedge shaped lot #4855 on a cul de sac peninsula looking out over the lake, fountain and club house in the distance. Very very spacious lot and landscaping with brick pavers. Owner had left patio chairs and table which we used for our Thanksgiving dinner with relatives. Six year old grandson stayed with us part of the time and enjoyed the pool for many hours every day. Spoke to lots of owners there. Brought appetizers to their BYOB gathering at the club house the day after Thanksgiving. Always found folks waving as we drove by when entering or leaving the resort by car, or bicycling within the resort. Never hurts to be outgoing and wave at them. Our site was satellite friendly for DirecTV and Datastorm; many sites might not be. We were allowed to drive around and pick a lot from a short list of lot numbers. Average of $74 for an eight night stay was cheaper that we paid at a KOA in St Petersburg!!!!! We would definitely come back here again. Among the upscale motorcoach resorts, this site topped them all. Their season is just starting, and their planned activities increase during the next few months. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A truly great RV facility with very good amenities. However......No Wi-Fi !!! Yikes. I guess our fellow Prevost owners can't find the funds to properly wire the park? We rate this the second best RV facility in Florida (behind Riverbend, near Naples). We camped here in a Motorhome.

We loved this place. All of the individually owned spots are a bit different, but all are very spacious and private. You have a choice of lakeside view, or off lakeside. We took lakeside and enjoyed the fountains and birds. People we met were very friendly. We would definitely go back! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 3 months last winter and it was our biggest rving mistake. The only good things about this resort are the paved roads and the fishing. This so called resort isn't anything like a resort should be. The exercise room consisted of 5 pieces of yard sale equipment, the library had outdated books, the clubhouse was vacant most of the time, the activities almost non-existent (unless it was a byob). Now let's talk about the people. This is the biggest collection of jones' I've ever seen. These people look down at any renter that comes in because you don't own a lot. In order to fit in with these phony people you must bring your harley (regardless of your age), your custom golf carts, and don't forget your bottle of booze. We would much rather stay at an rv resort with real people who don't think they have to impress eveyone else. This park has no soul. We will never return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here the first day that the resort was officially opened at a special rate. This is a true RV resort not a campground. If you are looking for beautifully landscaped, paved, level sites, then this is it. The fitness center equipment was excellent. The entire staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. We would definitely stay here again if the rate stays within our price range. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Beautiful, well kept resort with most lots arranged around 2 small (yes, there are fish) lakes or around a fairly challenging executive golf course. Despite what is stated in a prior review, there are approximately a dozen pull through sites towards the rear of the park and they are enormous. As with many FL snowbird resorts, there aren't many kids but they are welcome and in evidence. The lake site we were on had full hookups on both sides of the site allowing a 5ver to back in and see the lake or a MH to pull in and see the lake. Wi-Fi is available at the 2 clubhouses and at your site if you are within range of the clubhouse. Many social activities, 2 pools & spas with a 3rd one staked out for construction. An easy drive to the Marco beaches or the many many Naples' beaches We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

What the previous reviews say is absolutely true. I am a picky clean and neat person and this is truly a gem. Besides Gold Canyon in Ariz this is my favorite. 5 miles from Naples and two from Marco Island. I would bet this place is full in the winter. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a fabulous RV Resort, in every way. WiFi was an issue, as I was on business in Marco Island, but was assigned a lot only 100 yards from the clubhouse, where WIfi was available. The grounds were meticulously landscaped, and even though it was the off-season, everything was spotlessly clean. There is a beautiful pool and spa, nice big clean bathrooms and showers. There are no pull throughs, but each lot seems to have hookups on both sides, for convenience. I have only found one RV Resort nicer, and the other was priced three times as much as this. I WOULD LOVE TO VISIT AGAIN, AND STAY LONGER. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was the nicest resorts we have stayed at. It was beautiful. We took a walk everyday on the paved streets. They allowed us to wash our motorhome, which is unusual. But they said they like everyone to look clean. We had driven from Mi so ours was a bit dirty. We would definitely stay here again. The pool area was really nice. Not crowded, and no kids. The rec room is also nice, and we met a lot of friendly people there. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a well maintained resort. Front desk personnel is extremely helpful. Guides take you to your site. All facilities are very clean. Some sites are a long way from the pools, but parking is available. Sites are large. We will come back again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We really enjoyed this park nice big lots although the one we had was just a little tight get into but once you did there was tons of room with water and electric on both sides of the pad. Very quiet, nice friendly staff and all the people walking around, etc were friendly. Definitely recommend this park and we will most likely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The nightly rate I've quoted is actually a lie, because we didn't stay at this park, even though we'd reserved a site, and had shown up on the day we were to start our stay. But once we arrived, we were surprised to learn there was no wifi access from the site we'd been assigned (we'd have to go to one of the club houses to get online). And there was no feeling of "warmth" between the sites. The landscaping was so-so (certainly nothing to give us a sense of privacy) and the ambiance of the park -- although clean and tidy -- was just that: sanitary. Since I have a voice disorder, and rely heavily on internet communication, access to wifi is vital and the Trailer Life listing for this park was misleading: we believed we'd have access to the internet, via wifi. Regretably, we were brand new to RVing, so we paid for the site before we saw it, and before we learned that access to the internet wasn't going to be possible from our RV. We let the office know of our need for WiFi (or at least an internet connection from our RV) and they suggested we contact Comcast to get service from them. Rather than being generous in their attitude, the park owners/managers wouldn't release us from our "commitment" to stay with them, despite the fact that it was peak season. We wound up paying them our deposit ($400+) for the privledge of driving around their park and deciding we couldn't comfortably stay there. Despite this parks excellent ratings, we suggest new campers take a look before booking a site with these folks, because if it's not a "fit" for you, they really won't care. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Place is pricy but lacks for nothing. Level, cement pads with full hook up. WI-FI avail at office and pool area. Two pools, 3 tennis courts, shuffleboard area, hot tub and showers/rest rooms at these facilities and could be a bit of a walk to them depending on where you're parked. We were 39' w/4 slides and PLENTY of ROOM for rig and tow vehicle. Great tennis matches each morn - just show up. Lots of planned activities. Golf is exec course ( holes average about 120 yards w/water and wood hazards but price ( 15.00 for 9 ) is right/good for the area. People very friendly. Better deal is to come and stay longer than a week. The place is mostly long term renters or owner occupants. We enjoyed our stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I can't add much to what has already been said. Many campgrounds call themselves "resorts" but this one really is one. If you have young children you may want to stay at the KOA down the road because Silver Lakes is a retirement community and there isn't much for children to do. But if you have an empty nest and love a beautiful peaceful setting, this is the place. And, if you think $50 is a little high for a campsite, check out the price at the KOA and other local campgrounds. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very up scale RV park, also high dollar. Park is very clean and has everything to play with. All sites are wide and long. I think two 45' motorhomes would fit on one site. Hookup's on some sites are on left and right side. You can back in or pull in on some lake side lots. Lots of trees and plants around each site. Two small lakes and nine hole golf course in park. Only restrooms are in two club houses. Anyone would be happy here! Great place. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Condo park with rentals either through the developer or direct from an owner. Gated access. Waterfront or golf course sites. The average site is 50x90; Double wide concrete, level pads with balance of the site in grass (auto sprinkling). Pull through sites are huge and would accommodate two 40' rigs if one wanted. 9-hole executive golf course; tennis, fitness center, billiards, shuffleboard, 2 large pools and spas, 2 laundry rooms. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Excellent, modern, spacious park with wonderful facilities. 2 big swimming pools and 2 large club houses. Internet access in clubhouses, but only one line in each. Good laundry facilities. On the road to Marco Island. Excellent landscaping. Helpful staff. Excellent security. Very friendly. Upscale. Has its own 9 hole golf course on site. We camped here in a camper.
