Very nice park. We are new to the RV world and found the residents here extremely nice and very helpful. One even backed our trailer into our spot. If we were looking for an extended stay RV park, this would be the place, but we like to move around. We would give this park an overall excellent rating. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice, clean park with great pool/hot tub! Very nice employees and residents. Sites are very close together and would have been hard to get in to with our 40 foot 5th wheel if the site across the street was not empty. Some trees, so satellite could be tricky. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We used this campground as a place to park the coach while staying with family in the area. The park was recently purchased by Sun Resorts. We had a pull through site (grass) with full hook ups. The clubhouse / office has been remodeled. The roads were being repaved while we were here. Checked out the bath house for this review & they were all new too. Close to I-75 @ exit# 101. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I really disliked this place. It is an older park, built when most people tented or used much smaller trailers or RVs. Other than a few sites, sites were very small and you practically touched your neighbors. Because I do not have a towed vehicle, I have to go out and in every couple of days, and it was very difficult because of tight spaces and lots of trees in the wrong places. I helped one guy thread his 14' trailer in between trees with only a foot on either side and in the back! Even the dump station was tight. Sites were also dirt and poorly marked. Hard to figure out where your site started and next one ended. My site had trees on both sides and a large overhanging branch, so I had to have help backing in almost every time. I also was on a corner, so I had a space beside/behind me with a popup about 6 feet from the back of my motorhome. Luckily the site next to me (#72) was mostly empty--mainly because it was rated as so small and had a drainage grate on it that was recessed, making it almost impossible to get into. I watched one trailer almost tip over as it was backed into this site because of the recessed drain. Being in the woods was nice for shade, but satellites did not work and it was very buggy. A lot of smaller trailers and families in tents, but I would NOT recommend this for anything longer than 25 feet, if that. This is a park where I keep hearing rumors about their removing some of the smaller spaces and many of the Saba palm trees that make it so hard to get in and out, but nothing seems to have been done or is in the works. I will not stay here again, and in fact, left one day early, having paid for day with no refund possible. Just could not stand the thought of having to get back in again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Not my favorite park. The park itself is nice enough: clean, quiet, nice restrooms/showers. Lots of royal palms. LOTS of mosquitoes - so many bugs that the park has a large, screened common room. With that said, it does border a large swamp/marsh area, so those things are to be expected. I just didn't expect them. My bad. It also rained so much just prior to our arrival that many/most sites were underwater, and the day we check out the dump station backed up and overflowed so that we had to move without emptying our tanks. Though shaded, there is nothing taller than grass (except the tall palms and oaks) between sites. One can see from one end of the campground to the other at eye level. The back sites along Hwy.93 (I think) toward Naples are noisy from traffic. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Due to locale near Everglades and technically in a swamp, mosquitos were unbearable. I can not imagine tent camping here. 30 Amp service not reliable on high use weekend. Our electrical protection system kicked in luckily and saved our system. Good location for accessing Everglades of course. Need a boat or a toad because there really isn't anything to do in the park. Seeing the dredge machine and the reproduction old Post was neat. Playground was sad. Potholes were water filled but able to manage them and the turns with our 34 foot RV. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Our second visit here. Top class campground amongst many permanent "houses". We got a site right next to the main pool and club house. Not cheap accommodation but you get what you pay for. The site is pretty empty this time of year and we felt like we had everything to ourselves. We will return to this place for sure. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful and well run park. It is clean and has all the required amenities. The people that run it are very nice as well. It is however, barely still an RV park. It is mostly a mobile home park at this point, as the bulk of the park is filled with permanent park models. This is not to suggest that the park is any less nice, but it does have a different feel and vibe than a typical RV park might. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this park one night on our way to the keys, and liked it so much, we stayed here on our way back. It is truly a beautiful park with landscaping second to none. Park Models, Double Wide units, and RVs together normally do not mix, but in this ownership park, that is not the case. It is well thought out and designed with plenty of room to maneuver. The sites are concrete, most with varied decorative coatings. Since the sites are owned, many have lawn sheds at the back of the site, but the sites are so large there is no interference. Their park rules read more like a condominium association than a campground with fines and such for infractions, but I believe that is mostly when the park is full of owners in the winter months. There were few residents here during our two, one night stays, those that were seemed friendly with everyone passing by waving. It's a good one night stop if you want a break before crossing the state on Alligator Alley. We'll stay here again when down this way. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was nothing but a mobile home park. The only RV site we saw was the one they sent us to. Really hard to back into. Once we finally got in, we plugged into electricity and sparks flew and smoke came from receptacle. We immediately unplugged and called office. They said they would have electrician out "first thing tomorrow". When we said we couldn't stay without electricity, they said an electrician was "on the way." We left anyway, as it was getting dark on a Friday night. We didn't think an electrician was really on the way. We never got our money back. Credit card company was no help. If you check into an RV park and there is a 4' x 4' sign that says "No Refunds", run. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

A nice clean well kept but small campground, no amenities, park has new electric system, good water pressure. There are a few sites on the Henderson Creek. The park has 2 fishing piers with moorings for small boats/ canoes. Owners are not on site, but visit a few times a week. A very quite park in a good central location to Naples and Marco Island. All sites are crushed stone. Walmart super center is only 1 mile away. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Narrow streets with right angles into sites made maneuvering difficult; this may not be a problem for most residents since most are permanent or seasonal. Staff and residents were friendly; French was encountered as often as English. The pool area was very nice; a weight room, laundries, mail room and clubhouse were also available. Basic utilities were good; Wi-Fi was by purchase through Tengo and not used; AT&T phone and data service were weak but functional for several hours per day. Some traffic noise associated with large trucks at the nearby concrete plant occurred during the workday. The price is based on a weekly, internet, off-season special. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for one month as it was close to our relatives home and to stores we like. Also Sun RV Resorts had an intro special of $279 for one month, and other deals after that. We don't need lots of amenities, just a big enough site to park, good water, power (50 amp), and sewer. The park was fine with those needs. It was kept up nice even though being an older park, spaces are close, but long, and certain areas could be tough to navigate with a big rig and the park being full. In the summer, without all the French Canadians here, it's fine. The park was probably only 25% occupied while we were here. Every one was nice and we would return in the summer months given the same good deals and a choice of site. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I would have rated this park higher except for the extremely close and tight sites. Very nice staff and pool area. Antenna brings up the local channels and Wi-Fi is extra. Close to shopping and old 41 highway. Good for a stopover. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Office staff friendly and helpful. WiFi from outside vendor at an extra cost. Narrow streets, tight turns and extremely narrow sites—we could not open our awning because of a tree and if we tried to across from each other at the picnic table one of us would actually be sitting under the neighbor’s slide-out. Nice pool and hot-tub. Very quiet at night. In mid-February, the bugs were biting at dusk and after dark. We stayed two nights to create one day for an Everglades excursion—it was an expensive OK place to sleep, but I wouldn’t stay there again for any length of time. We camped here in a Motorhome.

For a KOA this place is pretty good. Its hot but that is what you get for camping in Naples FL in July. The place is clean and there are plenty of things to do for families. The pool is large and is refreshing if you don't mind all the kids. We will be here for a while so I will post another review if this campground deserves a lower rating. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Difficult to tell the name of this park, but it is on 8230 Collier Blvd. Have to go past it and turn to come back in. Read instructions from resort carefully. Office seemed a little confused. Man parking us brought us in the wrong way for a big rig to park. He also put us in the wrong place. Pool, clubhouse, all amenities are great. Nice, comfortable place. Good deal for Naples with PA. My husband and I needed a place to stay with easy access to the highway on our way down to the Keys. Unfortunately, the location is the only compliment I can give Naples Gardens. The manager was off-duty when we arrived and sent her (very young) granddaughter to us with check-in instructions. Most of the RVs in the park were permanent/ extended-stay units and we felt as though we were the only 'travelers' in the park. We booked a pull-through site and it ended up being in the back of the park with a view of a dilapidated fence and storage facilities. Our neighbor seemed VERY odd and kept trying to engage us in conversation, but we weren't interested. (He seemed like someone you would see on America's Most Wanted.) The following morning, the creepy neighbor followed us as we left the park and down the highway. Was it a coincidence?? Honestly, we just wanted a place to stop in after a long day of traveling, eat and get a good night's rest before our journey the next day. That didn't happen. As soon as we got settled in, the neighbor's dog (bloodhound) barked uncontrollably for a long period of time. Once the sun went down, the party started in the campground. We actually heard gunfire going off within mere feet of our campsite and the people shooting the guns were heavily intoxicated. I found it ironic that we were handed a two-page list of rules and regulations for the campground, but we were the only ones following them. I now understand why their rules are so lengthy. Kids were driving golf carts with other kids hanging off the sides and back without any adult supervision and none of them were old enough to have a license. The park did seem like they were trying to clean up debris from past storms, so there was some effort in the cleanliness of the park. However, I would not classify this campground as a 'resort'. It was a scary experience and we will never return again. Steer clear of this resort because it seems like a safe-haven for criminals. If you have young children, don't bring them to Naples Gardens and stay away from the guy with the bloodhound. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I think the new name is Naples Gardens but there isn't a sign so you will miss the the RV park if your not careful. Older park but well taken care of. We pulled into our site and it was nice and shaded and lucky for us due to it only had 30 amps and temps were in the high 80's. I'm not sure if there are any 50 amps due to when I walked around I saw a lot of folks having to use a 50 to 30 amp plug adapter. Several sites for big rigs no problem but roads are narrow. We were told would have Wi-Fi at our site but we couldn't connect at all. Some park models for long term residents but very clean and tidy. Lots of areas to walk your pet. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very clean, very well maintained resort. The staff was just tremendous. The laundry room was immaculate. The pool is outstanding. The resort was empty for the most part while we were there. The 9 instead of 10 is only because of the road noise outside of the resort. They are right off of 41 which is a busy road. Great proximity to Naples and Marco Island. Would stay here again when we are in Naples. No public showers which doesn't matter to us. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Wi-fi was waiting for parts. Campground was very clean, and my wife told me that she believed the workcampers were the best we've ever had escort us, etc. In fact he returned and trimmed palm tree limbs from brushing against coach. Super clean and neat. Close to all of Naples. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Free Wi-Fi. speedtest.net says 24 ms ping, 12.2 Mbps down and 4.7 Mbps up. I have never seen this kind of speed in an RV park, and it is password protected. Water pressure is 65 PSI. They use a lawn service to keep the grounds manicured. The laundry has 4 almost new commercial washers and 4 almost new commercial dryers at $1.00 per cycle. The dryer got my towels dry in one cycle. Amenities include full hook-ups, pull-through sites and back-ins to handle the largest motor homes, 5th wheels, and travel trailers, landscaped cement pads and paved drives. I think this is the nicest RV park I have ever stayed in. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Pool was not clean. Hot tub was worse. Small laundry room for size of park and requires new machines. Dusty park. No flowers. Management attitude if you have a problem/concern is "if you don't like it, leave". Found owner arrogant and rude. Good library. We would not recommend or return to this park. The last campground in Naples before Everglades City and the Everglades park. So it is a bit remote from the city, but good for heading south. Nice wide sites with concrete pads and full hookups. Wide streets make backing big rigs easy. The highway noise was noticeable in our transient site. Ask for a more interior site to keep the traffic noise low. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Well maintained, private, adult campsite. Wide streets, wide sites. No one in office on Saturday or Sunday, someone from the maintenance staff saw us and got us our site number but we might have waited if no one noticed us. Our site was close to the Tamiami Trail but was surprisingly quiet. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Beautiful resort and very convenient to the Isles of Capri and Marco Island. There are not a lot of activities; mostly party related during our stay. The only internet access was using the wi-fi in the clubhouse. Our site couldn't have been further from the clubhouse so it was not convenient at all. Most of the motor homes here are very high end but the owners and other renters were extremely nice. Each lot is landscaped with privacy and some shade in mind. There is only one usable shower for each gender as the second available shower is for handicapped use and the shower head is not adjustable at the 3 1/2 foot height. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice campground with lots of activities for class A motorhomes. Very friendly owners, and you are welcome to participate in activities. Some events there is a charge. This is a great area since Marco Island and Naples are near by. Rate is based on a monthly rate. Will return. Can't beat the nice weather. We camped here in a Motorhome.

You can only own or rent within Pelican Lake if you have a Class A motorhome. If you have any question about this call the office and ask before making a reservation. I have owned here for 12 years and do not plan on selling. There are about 289 sites in the park. Most are owned by people who stay on their site during the winter, generally Dec. to April. Some owners own more than one site and rent out these sites either through the on-site rental agency or directly to others. Other owners (for whatever reason) do not stay on the site they own and therefore rent it out via the two contacts listed below or directly themselves. Check out two websites. One is from the realtor/rental agent who generally has the short-term rental sites available: http://www.pelicanlakemotorcoachresort.com. The second website is from an owner who also connects potential renters with owners. http://pelicanlakervresort.com. The roads are all paved and two coaches can pass easily. There is also a sidewalk on the main road which encircles the large lake (no swimming). The lake has three fountains. There is a beautiful swimming pool and hot tub at the clubhouse. There is no “store” but there are many stores of all descriptions within a few miles. Why are site rents high? Please know that sites are roughly valued at between $100,000 and $400,000. Taxes vary, but $1400 - $2000 per year is a good range. Add to these two costs the home owner association dues of $3720/year. Then consider that the rental agency takes a 20% fee and the county requires a 10% tax for any rental less than 6 months. Knowing these costs you can begin to see why the first $60 - $80 or so in daily rental fees just covers the owners cost, fees and rental taxes. Park management and owners create and offer many social activities to owners and renters. The owners also host two RV shows each winter at the large parking lot next to the clubhouse. About a dozen Class A coaches are brought into the park to be shown to the public as well as persons in the park. Pelican Lake RV Resort is truly a resort. The sites are large and varied, at least 55 feet wide and 90 feet long. A 10 x 10 coach house is on each lot. Renters should ask if their rental includes use of the coach house. Many of these coach houses have been outfitted with a toilet, shower and/or washer/dryer, and may be air conditioned. Others have cooking facilities, and I believe one even has a bathtub. Many owners have golf carts for in-park transportation. Renters can ask if one comes with their site or rent one from a nearby company. The landscaping is awesome with many types of palm trees as well as other plantings. Trash is picked up daily at each site by park employees. There are tennis courts and shuffleboard courts. Generally speaking, RV’ers discover the park by happenstance and come in and rent for a short time. They discover all the park has to offer and come back the next winter for a month or longer. After a few years or less they may decide to buy. I hope this helps you in determining if this is an RV park suitable for your needs. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Class A only park with approximately 184 sites, 20 of which have been purchased thus far. Staff very friendly and wants your business. They told us the majority of their business is now rentals. The original goal of company was site sales. The club house is very large and well kept. It has a workout room that has every machine one could imagine. All RV Parks are expensive in season in this area but for the same price we could have stayed at a real "10" within 5 miles. Spacing between sites is OK but close for the price paid and lack a picnic table if that's important. WiFi is not robust at all particularly for a park desirous of a great reputation. We would definitely use this Park again --- if a spot is not available short term at the "10". We were only there for a couple nights and were not able to participate in any of their multiple activities. Everyone we encountered were very friendly. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This Motorcoach Park is set up so nicely. The clubhouse and its hosts and hostesses were very friendly and accommodating. Our site was on the canal. We enjoyed our stay, though brief, very much. We will return in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Class A only park, located right off 41 in south Naples. Entrance to the park is not well marked, and the location of the entrance is in a high traffic, 55mph blind spot, so be very careful. There are accidents frequently. Be prepared to hear emergency vehicles consistently. If you are sensitive to noise, request a site towards the back of the park, as the traffic noise from 41 is very loud 24x7. Convenient to Marco Island and a multitude of stores/shopping. Park offers full hook-up, paved sites with approximately 6 feet between rigs. Limited landscaping, but very well maintained. Clubhouse, 3 pools and spas, tennis court, fitness room and lots of planned activities throughout the winter season. The park allows outside vendors for RV repair, washing, waxing and even mobile dog washing. Additionally, they provide curb side trash pickup, daily complimentary continental breakfast, a weekly free poolside cocktail/appetizer mixer with live music as well as a weekly free happy hour meet & greet with a smorgasbord of appetizers. Wi-Fi in the park is virtually unusable most of the time. I found 1-4AM the exception, if you don't have an alternative data plan. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Negatives: cable provided but very few channels unless one gets an adapter from the local cable company, no wifi at site, expensive (nightly rate reflects discounted rate for a week's stay). Positives: Immaculate resort, three pools, two hot tubs, exercise room, small golf course, beautiful clubhouse, activity building for the many groups, clubs, and get-togethers. We would gladly stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice park but the Wi-Fi is not at your site. We tried using the Diamond clubhouse which is what we were told to do. The Wi-Fi was intermittent. After two minutes it would throw you off. Very frustrating when your trying to do business. The main club house also has Wi-Fi, unfortunately when the reality office closes on the weekend this club house if also closed and you can't use it. Park is very clean the people are very friendly. Would like to come for a longer stay but we need to have Wi-Fi. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Our stay was excellent. Lots to do in the park, active sports groups etc. Also close to other activities outside the park. Only negatives were that they weren't keeping the pools as clean as they had in the past. Although they don't ban children this is clearly a park for older active adults. There are no playground facilities We camped here in a Motorhome.
