We stopped here for two days to visit the beach. There was no oil on the beach. We were on the way home after a 3 week trip. The staff was extremely pleasant and friendly. The store is very well stocked and has a large selection of RV supplies, accessories and parts. While the site was very narrow it was easy to set up our 40' motorhome with 4 slides. A little cramped but okay for a short stay. My patio awning was only a couple of feet from the RV next to me. The pad was asphalt and level however everything else is pretty much sand, including the tent camping area across the street from our site. Not much grass anywhere in the park, however a lot of trees and plenty of shade. Very convenient to the beach, only a short walk across the street and you are there. Good cable TV channel selection and the strongest, fastest WiFi I have encountered in my travels. Very clean and maintained park, but the overall appearance is a disheveled look because of the faded asphalt and lack of grass. A lot of sand between sites. Good destination park for a family vacation or a short stop to enjoy the beach. While the park is pet friendly there is no walking area for your dogs. They tell you to just walk the dog and make sure you pick up after. I was a little uncomfortable with this. It was hard to find a place for the dog that was not right next to somebody's patio. They also ask you not to walk them in the permanent sites area of the park. There appears to be more permanent sites than temporary sites. Overall we had a very nice stay and would come back here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Campground personnel bent over backwards to accommodate every wish. Store has a complete RV Parts room and RV Service Personnel was available by a private contractor. Beach was beautiful and the water was wonderful. NO OIL !!! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We had a layover in Florida during a cross-country trip and chose this park. An older park, it was convenient with paved interior roads and paved sites with grass ("Florida grass", but green) areas between. The park has a mix of RV spaces and mobile homes. We visited in the "off season" so didn't have any of the noise issues others have noted from the nightclub across the street. Our first assigned site had no water, but we were easily moved to another. We visited during a cold snap, and staff was scrambling to keep pipes from freezing. We camped here in a Motorhome.

It could use a second pool and hot tub and another comfort station in the back of the park, but otherwise a VERY nice park. Close to lots of activities for kids as well as grown ups. Would recommend to friends and family. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Tight check-in area. Unhook extra vehicles you are towing, before going to your site. Only one check in space to pull into, others will be out on a very busy road. Nice sites, but a little over crowded with palms, if you have slides. Over all, a nice park, staff friendly. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this park in late 08 and we liked it, however, the prices to stay now are way over the top. It's a nice park but not at that price. The area dictates how much you pay, but still that is a little pricey. They clean their restrooms at 7-8 in the morning, right when everyone needs a shower and other facilities. We thought that was inconvenient. The people are real nice and everything is kept clean. We did not like the fact that staff would drive their golf carts, and trucks through the empty site next to us, very annoying. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Pulled in a week before Thanksgiving with no reservation and got a site right on the water for 2 weeks. A great little park, but it won't be her for long -- we were told it's been sold, and will be closing in 2005. Sites are relatively close together, but there's plenty of room for slides and awnings. Since it's on the beach (St. Andrews Bay off the Gulf of Mexico), it's mostly sand, but with some large shade trees, and each site has a concrete pad for the picnic table. Beautiful views of the bay and the dolphins playing out there. Has its own pier which you can fish from or tie up your own boat. All the people here have been wonderful, very helpful and informative. There are some long-term residents here, but no place that looks like "trailer trash." All nicely maintained and clean. We camped here in a Motorhome.

All inclusive! Great price! Just a short walk to the beach! One price includes your lot, power, sewer, water, cable and Wi-Fi (which works great). It is a beautiful gated park with a nice pool that is heated in the winter. Climate controlled restrooms/showers; laundry room and family room which are all open 24 hrs. Office closes at 5pm but there is a phone number posted to contact the manager at all times. Any assistance you may need is just a phone call away. The RV Park is right before you go into St. Andrews State Park which has nature trails for walking and biking, a fishing pier and boat ramp or you can catch a shuttle over to shell island. Approximately 200 yards from the RV Park is the beautiful sugar-white sandy beach and emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico that Panama City Beach is known for where you can enjoy breath-taking sunsets. There are several restaurants and shops nearby. It is just 5 to 6 miles to Wal-mart and approximately 10 miles to Pier Park; an awesome outside shopping mall which includes entertainment and restaurants and some attractions as well. It is only 4 miles to a golf course. The summer rate is $64 for a back in site and the winter rate is $54. You can get 10 percent off if you are a Good Sam member. They also have monthly rates. I have stayed in many parks throughout the United States and this is by far my favorite park I have ever stayed in. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

My family and I really enjoyed staying here. The pool was very nice. The bathrooms were clean. The laundry room had four washers and dryers and it was never closed. The campground is right outside the entrace to St. Andrews which has an awesome kiddie swimming area at the jetties. Easy walk to the beach and well lit after dark. The price averaged what the other campground were priced, if you added all the conviences that this Resort included in their price (except cable TV and WiFi). We will be back. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I used to be a regular here, it was expensive, but the park was nice and the staff was friendly. We weren't able to come here for about a year, and I was down here on business. In one year they have gone up almost 50% on the price, and gone way down on customer service. Plus they have let the landscaping decline. Doesn't look like they have done anything since we were here last in 2008. I don't mind paying top dollar, if I am getting top dollar accommodations and service. My biggest complaint is the customer service. The person they have working there now is just rude and I agree with another reviewer that she must hate her job. The park used to be packed, now it is spring break and they are not even 50% filled. I am sure it is because of the lack of customer service. My office called change my schedule and I needed to leave early. Was told no refunds, can give you a rain check. I am sorry but that is now how you run a business. It wasn't like it was my choice to leave early. Now I will be stuck for a night. Hope they enjoy the money, because until they have a change of attitude or employees, I will not be back. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice well-kept campground. Secluded and quiet with plenty of tree coverage, but not too much. We came in after hours and the office had detailed instructions on choosing a site. They have a great system where they list each open site on a chalkboard as well as a sheet of paper with info and a map with each available site and you take the one you want, which means the next late check-in knows it is no longer available. It is only about 1/2 mile from the beach and all the action. The laundry room is clean and convenient and worked well $1.00 ea for wash / dry. The only weird thing was that they advertised $28.50/nite on the sheet and she rang up $32 on my credit card without a breakdown for taxes. I asked her about it and she said the difference was tax. No AAA discount. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Some friends of ours were staying a week at this campground. They invited us to come down for a couple of days to camp with them. The staff put us next door to our friends, and we had a wonderful experience. The swimming pool was right behind us, and for that reason we did not have far to walk to it. We had a screened-in porch. The beach and many activities were just minutes away. We would stay there again if we were back in the area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This park is away from the bustle and honky tonks but convenient to the beach, shopping, St. Andrew's State Park and other services. The owners are friendly, courteous, and helpful. There is a nice screened-in pool. The bath houses and laundry are clean and neat. The Wi-Fi has worked well at all times. Some sites are narrow, but there are others that are more than adequate, including some along the ponds. The pine trees do drop some needles and cones, but the cement slab is easy to keep clean. We will go back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed 4 nights with no issues. The campground's infrastructure is old and could use improvement but is not a must. Lots of shaded lots. Lots of sandy ground around the pads. No breakers on the 50 amp service at our site. Big dips and holes in the driveways. Short 5 minute walk to the beach. 5 minute drive to all the glitz. Front office eager to please. We used our own RV facilities so I couldn't say how the restrooms are. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very family friendly campground. We have been going there for over 20 years. The staff is a little unorganized and they need to update their system for reservations. They have two swimming pools (one heated and one not) that are well maintained. Some of the sites are hard to get in and out of due to trees but the trees make sure there is plenty of shade in the heat to the day. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed at this park for a week, and it is one of the best parks I have been to. This campground is clean and well maintained. There are numerous outdoor activities. Swimming is great at the jetty/pavilion area which has created a man made sheltered cove that offers calm waters even when the gulf is rough. Fishing from the jetty at both St. Andrews and the one at Shell Island is fun, and we caught several different species of saltwater fish. Shell Island also offers a protected area for swimming that is free of rough waves. Both the park and Shell Island also have gulf side beaches for those that love the rougher waves. The park has several nature trails and viewing areas that offer glimpses of wildlife. While here, we saw deer, numerous birds and two alligators in the large freshwater pond. We also saw several dolphins in the bay. Bicycling is also fun in the evenings. The bathrooms are clean and well kept. The park has coin operated washers and dryers at located at the bathhouses. The large stores near the swimming areas have very reasonably priced daily rentals for floats, umbrellas, and other beach accessories. The shuttle ride to Shell island costs about $15.00 per person, and the shuttle runs until 5:00 pm weather permitting. The park is right outside all of the activities that PCB has to offer. You can stay at the park and feel as if you are in the middle of nature, or you can step outside the front gate and be in the middle of beach shops, mini-golf, and any other tourist type activity you can imagine. I have no negatives to list about the park, and I cannot wait to return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

What a find this was. Very nice camp area with views of the bay and lots of boat activities. Some sites allow water access for fishing, small boat launching etc. Walk or ride to the beach that is the Gulf of Mexico. The beach was great with protected areas with no waves or open for waves. The wind was high our first day and many surfers showed up. Lots of trees, so getting a view of the sky for TV can be a problem so be aware if you use Direct TV service. A lovely park. We spent five days here in late April. The park takes up a few hundred acres at the end of a long spit of land between the Gulf of Mexico and The Grand Lagoon. Everything you would expect is here: swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, canoeing. There are two fishing piers, a jetty, and a boat ramp. The beaches here are famous for their fine white sand. Good birding, too. Be aware that Panama City Beach is a huge Spring Break party town, so consider whether sharing the place with tens of thousands of hormonal young people, fits in with your plans when you choose your stay dates. The bathrooms are clean and the showers have enough water pressure to wash an elephant. Everything about this place is terrific except for the lack of WiFi and the lack of sewers at the sites. If not for that, I surely would have given this place a ten. We'd love to stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a Park Model community where every site is individually owned. There are very few RV sites mixed throughout the park. The grounds are very well maintained, the staff is friendly, and easy access to the pools and beach. No pets are allowed by renters, only owners. Also, the easiest way around the park is by golf cart, but again only owners. Despite leaving the family pet at home, we will stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Visited this park in 40' motorhome. This park is advertised as "a recreational vehicle condominium resort". Actually it is an RV park that has become a park model park. Only a few, about ten, RV sites still exist and are rented. The park is gorgeous and very well maintained. The staff was friendly & helpful. Park has security patrols and a guard house at gate. The streets are narrow & I could not get my coach into most sites. Most sites would accommodate a coach up to about 32 feet. I got into a corner spot that had extra room to back in. Site was great with mature palm trees, concrete pad, picnic table and swing. Park has boat ramp, boat dock and storage area. Two swimming pools of which one is heated. The other pool overlooks the private beach which one also has access. People in park were very friendly. If this park was more RV oriented I would have rated it a 10. I will stay at park in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.
