The rec room is presently closed for remodeling. Nice laundry room with new machines. Small friendly quite park with a mixture of retirees and working individuals. We are staying monthly at under $500 which includes full hookups and cable. There a few over night sites but call first since the office closes at 5PM and on the weekends. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We had planned to stay only a couple of nights, but liked it so much that we ended up staying 5. There are 9 RV sites and 3 tent sites that all have great views of the river. We enjoyed watching the boats come down the river and go through the St. Lucie Lock. The park is immaculate and the sites are large with plenty of privacy. Bathrooms are clean, but there is only one shower each for men and women. There is a dump station that is easily accessible. There is a visitor's center within walking distance and a boat launch. We made reservations online and that worked out well. We would definitely come here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I hesitate writing a review of this park, since it really only has nine RV campsites. Three sites are tent sites. There are a few boat hookup sites also. I did want to write about how the wonderful and friendly camp volunteers do such a nice job at keeping the park clean and beautiful. We were lucky to snag a couple of nights on a cancellation, otherwise this time of year it is always booked. If you are over 62, the 24.00 rate is half price at 12.00. Concrete pads, 50 amp, water (but no sewer hook up). Great water view from every site, with sites 1,2,and 3 having direct waterfront. Fun to watch the lock operations also, with a dramatic 14 foot drop in water level. If you are able to book a site, make sure you visit the wonderful visitors center. The volunteers do a great job running the center, and it is very informational. Would be a perfect 10 if sites had sewer hookup, and you will also notice highway noise from both the Turnpike and I-95 but it is not terrible. For the price and the convenience of breaking up the trip going north or south through Florida, it is just about perfect! We camped here in a Motorhome.

The good is all paved sites very clean and a great host. The bad is not full hook up and a long way to the rest room and shower and not really what I would call handy cap rest rooms. It is a good stop over going north or south and easy access to I-95 and the Turnpike. Also at this time dump station is out of service. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
