Rate reflects one night Passport America and then weekly rate. We came back to Cody's to visit friends who are staying here. There have been several improvements made to the park since our last visit four years ago. One of them that we really like is the stone paver patio's that have been installed in some of the sites. The bathrooms in the office building have also been renovated and the other one's near the pavilion are a project in progress. Yes, there are several permanent residents here but in today's economy, this is not unusual. Everyone here is friendly. Some of the folks don't keep their area clean and free of junk as they should. Management goes "above and beyond" to make your stay at Cody's a pleasant experience. WiFi is free and fast during most of the day. We hope to get back to Cody's sometime soon. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

My wife and I took our 6 year old grandson here in a 30’ motor home for 3 days. Both staff and the park manager were very polite and helpful. We were guided to a full hook-up site. We used the 50amp service, water and sewer hookups. We were able to get 14 local TV channels (no cable hookup) on our onboard antenna. They offered free Wi-Fi but did not use it. The very large “catch and release” pond has all sorts of easily caught bream, bass and sun fish. We never caught any catfish, but did see very large ones. Several people there said they had caught them. We were also offered free kayak and canoe use on the lake. We built a campfire in the site provided fire ring both nights. My grandson made several friends who gave him food for the catfish (and other fish) which could be fed from the floating dock and elsewhere on the lake. Since the park is about 2 miles off the main highway, there was no traffic noise and the park itself was very quiet all night. The unpaved, but well maintained road was quite dusty. The park appears to be a very old one which shows wear and tear from its age. However everything appeared to be in working order and was kept clean. There are many permanent resident sites, some occupied and some closed up. I suppose the low monthly rate encourages some to park here and visit when they want to. The residents and the guests all were friendly toward us. We will return when we get the opportunity. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We used this campground for an overnight stay only, and fortunately, was given the best site in the campground. We had a very nice view of the pond, cement pad with picnic table and foliage offering some good privacy. Other sites seemed fairly close to each other. It was quiet at night. The gentlemen was nice, informative and escorted us to our site. The campground is mostly "rough around the edges". Most seem to be permanent residences, lawn ornaments all around and unkept. No one was friendly, no one was rude. The dumpster was loaded with beer bottles. This campground served our purpose but glad we did not stay anymore than one night. Hookups were fine. We will not return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
