This campground is mostly known by bikers because of the curvy roads nearby. The owners of this campground are some of the nicest people we have dealt with in our first year of RV'ing. Georgia had heavy rains in June 2004 and the owner had just added gravel to all his sites in the park. Unfortunately for us, we did not know which way to turn into the park and ended up sliding our truck and 5th wheel down an embankment. He rescued us not once, but twice from our mistakes in the soft earth, and would not accept anything from us for his trouble. All sites in the park can be pulled through from either direction. So if you are camping with friends or family, you can set up facing each other. There is a small stream (Skeenah Gap) on the property and an old mill that they are restoring. Pets are welcome and there is a $2.50 charge for extra people. Campground is closed in Winter. Most sites had a picnic table, if yours did not, they would bring one to you. Most sites had fire rings. There is a pavilion and grill for groups next to stream. No playgrounds or BBall court, but kids are not shooed away like at other parks. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
