Park is adjacent to County Fairgrounds. We followed directions from their website and found it easily. There was no one here but us, all night long. We picked a site and paid the Iron Ranger. Very quiet, really nothing to do, but it worked out well for us for overnight. Super Wal-Mart fairly close by. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park is actually named " Fairway RV Park", operated by the State Fair. Clean, well-maintained park with little to no other campers and easy access. Don't worry about a reservation. Sites are of grass and with a seemingly never-ending sprinkling system. I found the ground to be a bit soft for a heavy motorhome, but no fear of getting bogged down. Price recently went to $20 and you simply put your money in a pay box honor system style. Good water pressure, Verizon service excellent; Walmart nearby. Dump station on site, too! Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A great stop while traveling! We stopped in town and asked directions at the first store. Beautiful grassy area; easy access. We loved this spot and we were the only folks there so we were able to let our dog run free. Did not use the bathrooms, but all the facilities appeared to be immaculate--I know the grounds keeping was! A bargain for $15! We camped here in a Motorhome.
