Our third stay here. Beautiful view of the golf course from our site. This campground is for self-contained units only. We received a coupon for a free glass of wine at the restaurant for each of us. We make this a stop on our way west each year to play golf and have a good meal in the restaurant. We are planning to stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park continues to improve their services, coupons for use in the winery restaurant, free stay after four visits etc.. But the main thrust of this review is to straighten out the fact that there is no cable TV available, it would be a much better draw if there was plus the addition of Wi-Fi but it hasn't happened. But the nine hole golf course attracts quite a few duffers. The associated winery/restaurant is also a nice feature however breakfast is not on the menu, so to speak. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The only other units in the park were construction workers or unoccupied units belonging to vacationing construction workers. We had to pay extra for cable so we paid $13.50 under Passport America with no sewer and 30 amp. I had to run about 40 feet of coax to hook into the cable TV at another site. The cable service was excellent with many channels. The manager was very friendly and polite. The trains did not bother us at all. There are no picnic tables. The Wi-Fi is included, but it kept dropping me. I don't think the management quite understands the concept of Wi-Fi. He did try. There is an excellent Verizon 3G signal. I did not check out the restrooms as they were constantly being used by a large family with very small children that were camped in a tiny, ancient, Winnebago. I believe they were construction workers. I would not stay there again as the other campers seemed to be drinking heavily from what I saw and as evidenced by the amount of beer cans in the recycling barrel and the report of the manager. There was one unit with a vicious looking dog tied to a chain who growled at me making me fearful of walking my toy Poodle past that site. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a good park to spend a night or two if you are planning to spend time in the area. It is small and there is a railroad on the backside of the park. Owner said that he has sold the park and in a few weeks it will be closed permanently. Rate was for Passport America. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed as Passport America members and the price was only $11.99 as opposed to $22.99. Restrictions included paying extra for Wi-Fi and showers. Extremely friendly staff, met us at the entrance and guided us to our spot without us getting out of the rig. Site had a medium sized Globe Willow that interfered with our slide out and he immediately got some clippers and cut the limbs that were the problem. Park was clean with gravel sites and grass yards with more than sufficient space between sites. Now the bad part. The park is located adjacent to the railroad and we were about 100' (or less) from the tracks. Need I say more? We camped here in a Motorhome.

Also known as RV Camp & Cabin. Friendly owner, pull throughs, near the tracks but no switching just trains moving through & away from crossing. Good 30 amp power & close to all friendly Glenns Ferry has to offer. Rate was Escapee's rate. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This a beautiful park. It's almost like camping on a high-end golf course. Beautiful lawns at each site, with huge trees for shade. We were in the upper loop, so had an expansive view of the basin and the Snake River. Restrooms were spotless, even though the upper loop was pretty full. The Pioneer Museum in the park is very interesting. We'll stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Excellent personnel. Sites are paved and lots of room for slides. Be aware their is a $5.00 charge for tow and extra vehicles.Golf course near by for those that like to golf and a winery for wine tasting. Will return. Oh yea this is our third time. Happy travels. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Another lovely Idaho state park on the Snake River. The upper campground is closer to the water (which surprised us) and had even MORE shade than the lower one. Wonderful historical information about the pioneer's Glenns Ferry crossing but center was closed Mon & Tues when we were here. Not much to do except relax; town is small, old, and run down. Weather EXTREMELY hot (mid 100's) so we left a day early. Mornings are beautiful. Hundreds (maybe thousands) of gnats came through our screens at night when we had the lights on in the RV; had to spray with outdoor fogger to kill them. On second night, we didn't open windows until we turned the lights out. Probably would not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The owners have put a ton of work into this park. It's away from the interstate, so no highway noise. They have a large grassy area to the rear of the park that is great for a lot of tents. Lots of shade trees. The sites are level. The rate above reflects the weekly rate divided out. We would definitely stay here again! We camped here in a Motorhome.

After reading the reviews, we very surprised to find that this park is in disrepair, grass needs cut, sprinklers run all day and night. No one available to assign a site. Very tight egress, had to disconnect and back out as the trees have low limbs. Slides are difficult because of narrow sites. Must have been girls night out the night before we left as a whole group of them sat around laughing and drinking. The owner got mad and came out to see what the devil we were doing at 7:30 am because our diesel engine woke her up. There are three other campgrounds in the area, any one of which would be a better choice. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Had an excellent 6 night stay at this lovely RV park. The current owners have made tremendous improvements since their purchase. There is plenty of shade, a large grassy area available for recreational purposes or special events. This is the place to stay in Glenns Ferry. Owners are hospitable, restrooms and showers immaculate, grounds impeccable, lush and green. I much prefer the intimacy of this RV Park over the other 3 in the area. Close to town & friendly! Easy freeway access on and off. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
