This was a good park to visit the sites of the area. The sites long and the space between was standard. The staff was very friendly and helpful providing information on what to do and see in the area. We had a good relaxing time and stayed extra days. We will come back again to stay. A beautiful shady well-kept older park in the wonderful setting of Hagerman. There is a lot to see and do in the area. The spaces could be a little more level, but not too bad. No cable and the WiFi is expensive and very weak. Stayed a month, might be back next year. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park was perfect for us. Very quiet and no crowds right now. The long, gravel pull through was level and the trees were all trimmed. The staff was friendly, and we were able to walk the park and pick out our site. The satellite signal was strong, and the wi-fi goes through a company. I didn't like that, but you get x-number of minutes free. The store has very little to offer, but the general store is right down the street. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great find of a park. About 10 miles off of I-84, but a very pretty drive & well worth it. Nice office staff and a well stocked store. Sites were level and there was a good amount of space between sites. Small amount of traffic noise during the day, but it dies down at night. Beautiful scenic area. Will definitely come here again. Very nice park with lawn and shade trees. A few miles off of I-84 but that makes it a nice quiet stay. Easy walk to town for groceries if needed and to visit Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument visitor center. Very friendly and helpful owners. Nice showers and restroom facilities. We are staying here now and love it. It is a very clean campground and we have been here since July. It's very easy to find only 8 miles from I-84 on Hwy 30, south of Bliss, Idaho turn off. It has picnic tables at every site and monthly rates. Walking distance to town, a very short walk, churches nearby, very pet friendly, and family friendly. it's well worth the 8 mile's. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The spaces were great with lots of pull thrus, trees with shade and a table on a grassy area. Friendly staff. Play area for children. We were able to walk into town to see the sights. A nice location. I would stay here again. Wi-Fi worked great. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice park. We stayed here for a week. Quiet with good wide level sites. Thickly treed and thick grass throughout. Very helpful staff. Some odor from near by cattle yards, but not too bad. Excellent family park, lovely trees, lot of shade and quiet nights! Most definitely will return. As most of parks, only drawback was speed inside park, needs to be more regulated and controlled. We stayed 10 days, excellent rest and missed local produce being sold across the street and downtown. Keep up the great family atmosphere and great campground. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Good size sites with plenty of grass and shade trees. Bathrooms were fine but could be a little cleaner. Park was very quiet. Snake River Grill in Hagerman has an interesting menu and is a good place for breakfast. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Well maintained campground located on edge of Hagerman. Has a friendly host. It's eight miles from Interstate 80 but a beautiful drive to campground. Has well spaced sites with lots of green grass and shade trees. There is propane available plus a store. Has level sites. We will definitely stay here again. Camped for two days. Check-in was swift and easy, staff was friendly. Older established park: gravel sites with nice grass area and picnic table. Sites are a good size. Has shade trees and is very quiet. This was a very nice stopover park, and I could see spending a couple of days exploring the area. No cable TV, but we got many channels with the antenna with very good reception. Nice sized sites, nice landscaping. Good signage, easy to find. Quiet, no highway noise. Pet friendly. We will certainly stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

There is no cable TV but there are 3-4 local channels. The price for this park is appropriate. It is truly " no frills" but well maintained. Web map shows an option of coming off I84 at hwy 2950. I suggest the only (best) way to drive to park in on highway 30 off I-84. Office staff were helpful and friendly. There is a good Pizza place in town. The park is family owned. Sites are gravel and slope up. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice, attractive park. We were there in October and the trees were lovely with their changing colors. Our satellite TV was able to be tuned in with some effort. WiFi was free but we had trouble connecting when facing away from the office. Verizon EVDO was very strong, however. The lady in the office was very friendly and helpful. Nice little store as well. They had some frozen foods for sale which was nice since we were far from a restaurant. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Signage to campground is limited. There is limited area to park and register. Owner isfriendly and efficient. Access roads are gravel and well maintained. Most sites are gravel and grass pull-throughs. There is a slight slope on the sites. Some ornamental trees which gave some shade but could have done with trimming. There was some road noise and also cattle smell. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a very well kept RV park with grass between the sites and mature shade trees. It is well protected from the wind and traffic or train noise. The staff was very friendly, and there was a playground for the kids. Bathrooms were clean, and there was a nice supermarket within walking distance. We would stay again. Friendly folks own and manage the park. Built on a slight hill so leveling needed on most sites. Wi-Fi OK and good access to sites for large rigs. Lots of shade and no noise at night. A few sites, for some reason, have large boulders on the site corners. Just the right hight to bend the side of RV or back into with a toad. Only discount is Good Sam or we would have given a higher rating. 1/2 mile to a nice well stocked little grocery store. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Our rate reflects the weekly rate of $110. We really appreciated this park. The sites were long and level, and most were shaded, but the owners made sure we had a space allowing a clear view of the southern sky for our TV Dome. This place was really quiet, and we were able to walk daily, either into Billingly Creek State Park, or within the town of Hagerman. All facilities were very well maintained. We'll return! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Beautiful lawns and trees. There was a rec room, propane, free Wi-Fi, and a little store. There were great monthly rates. Extremely friendly folks and very accommodating. We wish they were all like this. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice place. Friendly staff. Very dog friendly. Grass and trees at most of the sites. (The leaves were turning red and gold when we were there, so it was especially pretty.) Restrooms & showers were clean, though I prefer individual showers with deadbolts for better security. A nice little general store for essentials. Despite being situated on a major road, noise wasn't a factor. I would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice clean park, quiet, large grassy sites, good gravel access roads and sites. WIFI is poor, you get it in the morning around 7am for about an hour, after that forget it. Whatever you do while you are here, eat at the Snake River Grill and eat the local alligator, steelhead trout and sturgeon, AWESOME. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A beautiful little park in a small town. This is a great and very quiet stop between the Boise and the mountain regions of Eastern Idaho and Wyoming. The staff was very friendly and helpful, there is deep grass, level sites, and two or more shade trees per site, and all this for a very reasonable price. The WiFi will not stay connected in the last row, but that was the only problem we had at the park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a beautiful park, but it's not located right in Hagerman. People go to Hagerman, can't find this park, and end up staying somewhere else. What a shame! This park is only 1/8 mile south off Hwy 84 at Exit 147. Large level sites, great Wi-Fi, grassy lawns, and wide, gravel roads. So peaceful and quiet (no, you can't even hear the freeway). We truly enjoyed this park. And the laundry is cheap - wash $1, dry 75 cents! We would definitely stay here again We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very impressed with this park and recommend it without reservations. It is very flat, roads well graveled throughout, tons of beautiful well-maintained grass, a large beautiful tree on every site, and very large sites with plenty of room for the largest RV and towed vehicle. Very fast WiFi, which always impresses me! And very quiet, just enough blocks away from the freeway to mute it entirely, yet only two minutes to be back on the freeway. We got here after the office closed, but the owner answered our phone call instantly and provided our WiFi access and signup details. All in all, a super site in our book! And we just finished two months crossing the US, so we have lots of sites to compare it with :). We will be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Wonderful campground. We had site 1 which had a large grassy area next to it. They also had white-water rafting trips on the Snake River and we went on one. It was great. Our guide Ryan was a blast and very good with us newbies. The evenings were quiet and restful. They also have a cafe on site. The town of Hagerman is not too far away and the 1000 Springs State Park in the area is awesome. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. All sites are long pull-throughs with generous well-manicured grassy areas. We didn't hear the nearby freeway. The park is in a farming community. Clean and tidy, although we didn't use the restrooms/showers/laundry. Friendly staff. We enjoyed the proximity to the Malad Gorge State Park about half a mile away, and rode our bikes there. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed a week at this RV Park, enjoying huge pull through sites, a small but excellent cafe, working WI-FI, good cell phone service and the MiFi worked well. Our class A motorhome fit with ease. The food in the cafe is reason to return, as is the friendly owner. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is the second time we've stayed here. It's a great stop along I-84 about 100 miles east of Boise. Has wide open, fairly level gravel pull-through sites with very easy access in and out. Water quality is good and electric service is reliable. The campground has always been very tidy and there were very few occupants this time of year. Noise from I-84 is virtually non-existent due to the high on-ramp blocking pretty much all sound. The owner/manger is always very friendly and helpful. This campground also has the benefit of easy access to a number of State Parks nearby that are worth the time to visit. Many are virtually unknown and little used. Our rate was a Passport America rate (i.e. 50% discount). We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy access right off the freeway. Decent sized pull through sites with shade trees. RV park is located near interesting Malad Gorge State Park (worth a look)and in the summer they run river raft trips out of the RV park. Fee was with Passport America. Would stay there again. This RV park has all pull-through sites. One row has FHU with 50 amp electricity; the other row has W/E with 30 amp electricity. The interior and sites were on lava gravel and there was a dump station on site. The interior roads were very wide and all sites were long enough to accommodate a 32 foot rig and truck. There was enough green grass between each site so you don’t feel crowded, however, there were no picnic table nor BBQ stand available. The park was not far from US-84 but there was very little traffic noise at night. There were two bathrooms (with showers) for the entire park and they were very clean. There is a café on site but we did not eat there. There was only one washer and dryer for the entire park. This park had Wi-Fi available but we did not use it. Verizon air card and cell phone worked well here. We would come back here again if we were in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a Passport America rate. This park has nice level wide spots with lots of trees. It was very clean and the grass between spots was well manicured. I was able to access the WiFi from site #8 which is in the back row. Easy access from the interstate and a good overnight stop. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Just off the side of I-84 though no highway noise. It's a good stop off point and close to many of the southern Idaho State Parks and Federal Parks in the Hagerman area. We stayed here for three nights and found it very convenient. They have a small restaurant here that has routine nightly specials that seem to draw in the locals. We did not partake. It's a pretty open site under a canopy of tall trees. Utilities all worked fine. Manager was available and very personable. I'd stay here again if passing through. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

They do have Wi-Fi here. The antenna is located down at the office/store. it is the only antenna I could see in the whole park. We couldn't get it at site #15 without our external Wi-Fi antenna. I did like the big pull through sites. 12 sites are 50 amp FHU and 14 are only 30 amp, electric, and water. Have to use the dump in the morning. But still very easy to get around with a BIG rig. Did hear a little interstate noise. A lot of it will depend on which way the wind is blowing. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

An okay overnight stop at the PA rate of $15 (more for 50 amp). Very long, shaded pull thru sites on a slope. Quiet country area but some highway noise. Two private bathrooms, one W & D. Lots of grass, spacious. TV reception on antenna and Verizon air card and cell worked fine. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This RV park appeared newer, was very spacious, had beautiful shade trees and freshly mowed green grass between the sites, was clean and tidy, but was nearly empty! There are simply no added amenities here (like no clubhouse, no pool, etc.) to make it a resort or destination type park. It's located at a freeway intersection with farm fields bordering on two sides. As another reviewer said, there was no WiFi even though the Passport America web site indicates they have it. We found our overnight stay here very pleasant and mostly peaceful. The close proximity of a freeway on-ramp adds some tolerable noise. A small coffee shop is located on site with very limited hours. Propane is supposedly sold on site while the coffee shop is open, but during our stay the lady running the coffee shop was unable to dispense any propane to us and didn't know when anyone would show up who could! She was obviously short staffed. Another interesting thing I noticed about this park was the complete lack of any posted or printed rules anywhere with the exception of "all pets must be on leash" printed on the park map. This is rare in this age where most parks hand you two pages of complex rules to follow when you register. I found this kind of refreshing. We'll definitely stop here again when passing through or visiting the area. The price listed reflects a Passport America cost with full hookups and tax. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Passport America rate for 30 amp and water. Full hookups sites have sewer and 50 amp, maybe phone hookups but were $36 a night and very pricey for this area. All sites are big long pull throughs with plenty of room, a blind person could get in here. It is a fairly new park with a small cafe. Nice big grassy area for tenter's. Right off of I-84 at exit 147. But very quiet for being so close to the highway. A couple of miles from the Snake River in a very scenic area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here one night and the park worked well. The sites are very long, plenty wide, and level. There is nothing fancy here and the Internet did not work, but it was clean and served its purpose. Good deal with Passport America membership. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This post is to update an earlier review on Sligar's Thousand Springs Resort for a September 7, 8, and 9, 2005 visit that was actually for Miracle Hot Springs. My husband and I stayed at Sligar's but we drove to Miracle Hot Springs to check it out. As stated earlier it is a beautful little campground, with about 10 or less sites. Small campground that we would not take our 32' TT into as the turns were tight just in our pickup. Sites looked like they'd fit up to 25' units. There is electricity. A creek runs through it along with a pond tht the first review claimed had alligators. The sign on the highway shows an alligator on it so she was probably right but in March they weren't there but it was still cold. This place was full of day users for the hot springs. Close to the highway but with all the trees you didn't feel like you were that close. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Small pull through that had such a short turn to leave we had to back out. Wi-Fi was promised, however it did not work on our site, we had to go to the clubhouse to use it. The RV sites are back from the river, the tent sites are on the river. The views are great with the springs coming out of the cliffs across the river. Don't forget your bug spray. Probably would try another area park if back in the area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Everyone that worked at Thousand Springs was very friendly. This is a bare bones resort, and probably not worth the $30.00. The pad are gravel, and very close to each other. The pictures on their website are mostly of the tent camping area. Please note that unless you are in site 1 or 2, the bathrooms are very far away, and are very sparse: two showers, and two toilets with only shower curtains providing privacy. The floor in the bathrooms was quite dirty. The swimming facilities were also only so-so. There was a funny smell, and the bathrooms/showers were quite bad: with little privacy, and not very clean looking. Still, the view is incredible. Please note that the riverfront sites are for tent campers. Also, the RV spots really don't have any shade to speak of. Pets require an extra daily charge. We drove past Miracle Hot Springs and Banbury. Miracle HS looked nice, but I wonder if all three places aren't a little run down. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

New owners that are still trying to get organized, they will work with you but check your site before parking to locate hookups, tree limbs, etc. We had to change sites 3x for an acceptable location. Stayed there 4 days. They have an indoor hot springs pool and sauna rooms ($) next to the campground. Great view of the river and springs coming out of canyon walls. Hagerman is a very small town with limited services but you can use the computers in the library to get on the internet - no charge. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We visited this RV Park based on a previously posted review, but that review was actually for Miracle Hot Springs, 3 miles South of Sligar's on Hwy 30 South of Hagerman. Sligar's is renowned for its hot springs indoor pool. The RV sites are all pull throughs and there's about 12 of them with some smaller backins. The remaining sites are for tents popup campers or pickup campers. All sites are waterfront. Sites are all gravel and fairly level. As you drive in, the sites face the Snake River and Thousand Springs. Beautiful. The back of your unit faces the Hwy. Some traffic but not bad. The other side of the Hwy is a bluff. We didn't know it till this camping weekend but this area is knows for it's high winds. The first night we had 40+ mph winds, scary. Electricity went out but the tenters down by the water stayed put and all was well. This is not the prettiest RV park I've been to but it was neat and the view out the front was nice. There's about two mobile homes on each end of the pull through sites for local residents for summer homes. While we were there the pool was busy all weekend. There's a nice picnic area on the other side of the pool house which is opposite where the RV sites are at. Dogs are allowed but you are charged $1 per night per dog and have to follow a strict code or as indicated the sheriff will be called. Even though we were disappointed because of the earlier review was for a different hot springs, we'd go back if we were in this area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We were there September 7,8 and 9, 2005. Loved it. The campground is small but shaded, pretty level and grassy with a small stream running through it. It is near the road so there was some noise, but the road isn't too busy and it wasn't a problem. The hot springs were top notch. Lots of flowers around the large pool that runs around 92 degrees, made for a really relaxing soak. The smaller pool runs around 102 and there are also private enclosed pools that are open to the stars. Geodesic domes are available for rent to camp in or for special occasions. Nice well groomed gardens and grounds, a enclosure that had three resident alligators and several fruit trees that seemed to be free for the picking. Water and electricity are in place but no cable, showers or laundry. Our basic TV antenna did pick up one channel nice and clear. Some fire rings and there are picnic tables at each site. We had the park to ourselves most of the time and it felt like we were actually out camping instead of that parking lot feel a lot of RV parks have. Open all year. Right across the road is Banbury Hot Springs and we have stayed there also. The RV spaces weren't as level, the private hot tubs were not open to the sky. They do have a nice pool and same as Sliger's the water is all naturally heated from the geothermal springs. No chemicals are used in either campgrounds pools because the water is constantly running through. Banbury is not open all year, closes down after Labor Day. They do have a laundry and shower facilities. Banbury is a little more muddy if there has been rain, lack of grass. Plenty of trees and right on the Snake river with a boat launch. Both campgrounds are nice but I would have to say Sliger's is my favorite. Both are only a short 10 minute drive into the town of Buhl. We camped here in a Motorhome.
