This is a BLM campground located on the McKay Reservoir near McKay, Idaho. The place appears recently renovated or redesigned. Quiet, away from any major towns; the nearest was tiny McKay a few miles south. Plenty of stars at night. A beautiful reservoir for swimming, fishing, boating, etc. On Highway 93 in the plateau of southern Idaho. Craters of the Moon is less than an hour away. Beautiful peaks to the east. Pit toilets and no showers, but electricity and water are available, as well as a dump station. We camped here in a Truck Camper.
