This park has 1 and only 1 thing going for it, its proximity to the sand dunes. Park is borderline way overly priced and the park setup/layout is highly bizarre. The main spots are sardined and I mean sardined next two each other with conjoined (and slightly offset) concrete pads. The sites are opposing in that you have to pull in one way (your neighbor the opposite way) in order to share the concrete. Oh and the concrete pad is "for your use" but you can't drive on it, park anything (bikes/quads included), set gas cans on it etc. Slots are on dirt and ours wasn't level. Also, our non-slideout trailer was deep against a small tree they had planted in the minuscule slot, makes no sense. They allow night riding so we had OHV noise up until 2a.m. If you're not there for motorized recreation you're 100% in the wrong place. Sorry to say it but the management is also sub par. The lady there took a week-plus to get back to me on our reservations and didn't answer email or voice mail timely (if at all). Beware of their cancellation policy. I might stay there again but the state park campground down the road (and closer in the dunes) is a much more appealing option at a fraction of the cost. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
