Nice campground, sights not overly big but adequate for a few days stay. Staff friendly and have been very good about allowing us to stay for extra time because of storms (we have stayed here on our way to and from Canada) even though space at a premium because of rodeo. Would recommend campground and will be staying again on our way home this year. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Cost for 1 night $25.00, non-event day (fairgrounds not in use), and first come first served. Event days are $10 with reservations. 122 sites with electric & water, no table, no fire ring. Sites close together. Cell phone coverage (Verizon) excellent. Landscape is well-graveled drives, grass sites, no shade but a few trees at west end of CG. Sites all have some slope, all back-ins, and must separate TV or toad to side. Very quiet. Large bathroom has sinks, toilets & showers w/ good pressure, clean. Okay for one night. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Campground is like a parking lot with gravel roads bordered by 32 ft. grass strips on each side for RV parking. Hook-ups are at rear of each back-in site. Rigs over 32 feet long will protrude into roadway. Tow vehicles & toads have to be parked in driveway or on grass next to RV, which takes up space that would normally be the patio. We had 30 amp elec, but the water was not turned on at the campsites. Had to cart water from faucet at front of campground area. New rate for 2011 is $25. The $10 rate is for event participants only. There is no security. Check-in is self-service box at front of campground. No staff on site. We would not stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

A new site in the area. Very friendly, easy access from the interstate. Great views of Batise Springs and the Portneuf River. Nice walking trails, birds, and quiet. Picnic tables were very nice; grassy areas for relaxing. Great pull through spaces with easy access. Good little store for necessities. I'd stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

sites are not too bad for size, but is a good idea to be first there as you share a site with someone behind you. Washrooms are very clean and no extra charge for showers. The wi-fi worked really well this year, we were quite close to the office. They allow pets but have no area for them but there are paths across the road from park. The manager or owner who ever he is is very loud person and he didnot really believe us when we told him the parks sewer was clogged and then when it was confirmed tried to suggest it was our fault. When the fellow who unplugged it said "no is the parks sewer " he was still not really believing it.All in all is okay place to stop for a night or two. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

It was extremely windy when we were here and there were few sites to chose from. The park is much smaller than we had thought.. Our site was not very large and we left in the slide. We were glad we had as the permanent resident next door parked so close to our rig, she would have hit the slide if had been extended. The office personnel was friendly, but we would probably not stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very clean and well-manicured park with grass, trees and small concrete patios between the paved spaces. Very clean rest rooms and showers. Not much for kids to do, but close to other city parks and recreation areas. Friendly staff provided complimentary coffee and morning paper. Located on a main arterial and close to Idaho State Univ. and all shopping needs. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This KOA has gravel roads and pads with trees limbs hanging to low and side-by-side pull throughs that are unlevel. They have only outdated 30 amp services. Wi-Fi was OK but could only use one device. However, our Verizon service was excellent. We stayed for two nights on KOA customer appreciation, buy one and get one night free. At the full rate of $36.50 per night, it is overpriced. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Uneven spaces, very poor dog run area. Garbage cans and toilets are not convenient. We have stayed in a lot of KOA'S, but this one is by far the poorest. We camped here in a Motorhome.
