Beautiful park. Lots of shade trees, etc. Very well kept. Enjoyed our stay for a few days before going on to Missouri. We are just traveling along slowly and where we take the notion to go next. We are headed for Mark Twain country in Hannibal, Missouri next. Very friendly people stay here. Quite a few of them said they come here regularly because it is so pleasant, clean and rates are reasonable. That is all true. Highly recommend anyone stay here. Children would enjoy it, too. Ours did! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We like this park and camp here often. There are only a few 50 Amp sites, and no full hook-up sites. Showers are nice, Restrooms are non flush type but are usually clean. Lots of birds and wildlife. Lots of trees and shaded sites. Nice spring feed lake, with row boat rental. No power boats allowed. This is an older park therefore most of the sites are smaller but there are sites that will accommodate bigger units. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Clean, oak tree covered country park, large lake with stocked trout, good Bass and pan fish. Easy dump
station, with water stations thru out the park 25 miles from Quincy 70 miles from Springfield. No stores close. We camped here in a camper.
