This was our first time camping with our new camper. We did stay over a holiday weekend. The camp site itself was very nice, private and quiet. We did see the pool, but did not use it. The overall campground itself was ok. There were permanents all through out the campground, some were nice and others needed to be taken away. People were friendly and we as a family will stay at this campground again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The swimming pool looks nice (the water was clear and clean) but it was small. The playground was newer but the kind that you would have in your own back yard, not a commercial quality playground. Mostly a seasonal park, and as usual a few of the seasonal areas are nice...but the majority are just "eye sores" that that need to be hauled away and the lot cleared of all the junk. I did see some maintenance work being done and since this park has new owners, there could be great changes coming. Worth checking back into next summer...but not again this camping season. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is now called Four Star campground. It changed hands in March 2007. The new owners seem friendly, yet unorganized. We were assigned an area when we arrived. Each area A, B, and C has about 20 sites. The tag we got for our car just had an area (B). We paid $32 the first night. I only paid for one night because of my first impression. I paid for a second night and was asked to pay $35. Each night, the store had different personnel. The sites themselves are very small. There was enough room in Area A for a 28 foot trailer and a picnic table then the next site started. If the campground were more crowded I would have had a rough time backing into a site with my 25 foot trailer. With little room for the trailer; there is almost no room for your tow vehicle. So the people across the street parked along the street (making backing in tough). At this moment I can't recommend the campground (and probably won't return), but the owners are planning more improvements. The pool is nice and the playground equipment looks new. The sites are just too small for my taste. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed at this park for the July 4th weekend and it was horrible. The access roads were one big pothole. The dust stirred up by driving on them, was everywhere. The kids were out of control driving the golfcarts/4 wheelers. One thought it was fun to spin around in front of the bathrooms. We had a sprinkler on the road to try to keep down the dust. The sites we were on, were new gravel so the trailer settled the 3 days we were here. One good thing was that the pool was nice. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I camped here with a group of friends, so didn't really expect much as far as entertainment and activities for kids. It's a good thing too because there wasn't any. If you're looking for a HUGE campground with plenty of privacy (with the exception of the seasonals which were segregated from the over nighters, it was pretty much dead), this is the place to be. I was disappointed with the restroom facilities. They "felt" dirty and could definitely use an upgrade. Also, the water had a strong sulfur smell. The sites were definitely not level. On the other hand, the staff couldn't have been more friendly. Would I stay here again? Probably not...not that it was a bad experience, I'm just looking for better. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is absolutely the worst park we have ever been in, both in geography and customer service. While there are some sites on the hill with space and trees, to get there you need to cross a concrete pad which can be flooded by the creek/stream below it. We selected and were approved to set-up on one of the front sites: which was bare and boggy but did have utilities and didn't require crossing the "bridge". Four days into our stay we were informed at 6:30pm that we needed to move to another site as they had made a mistake in allowing us to park in this site. We were not allowed to wait until morning and therefore were hitching up in the dusk / dark. We left the park and were penalized on the rate as we hadn't stayed the full week. We went to a Wal-Mart parking lot for the night and then another nearby campground to complete our stay in the area. Can't say strongly enough that you might want to try other campgrounds! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a wonderful place to camp! Family friendly, quiet, clean and an overall pleasant stay. We will be coming back again. I cannot say enough of how well maintained, and clean this campground is! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This campground provide the quintessential camping experience. Large heavily wood sites with minimal facilities. It also provides a good experience for those of us with large RVs. Easy access back in sites that are large enough for the biggest rigs. Many sites have satellite TV access along with a river view. The reservation system, however, is a bit confusing. Only even numbered sites can be reserved, but nearly all of the best riverfront sites are even numbers thus without a reservation, no riverfront site. There is also a second campground with no views but electric sites and mixed trees and sun with big rig access. Sites are fairly level with gravel pad, fire ring, and table. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Overall a good campground, but water has a bad sulfur smell and had problems with the breaker on the power pole. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Mainly a seasonal park, but they do offer a few Overnight sites. Grounds are not maintained at all and the majority of the seasonal sites look like no one has been out to them in years. No swimming of any type (pool or lake). Nice newer playground and entry with a keypad locking gate. I asked if they had fishing, the lady said yes they had a stocked pond but in her own words it was pretty "grown up" I guess she was not kidding because I could not even find the pond! Weeds - Yikes! I don't think we will return, the place seems deserted and creepy and offers nothing for recreation. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
