Great campground, but holiday activities were not planned very well. It is a Jellystone park now and I was disappointed to find the new pool, just opened, was closed during certain hours over the holiday weekend for adult swim only. As a matter of fact, people with children were being turned away from the pool during these times even if the pool was completely empty. The alternative was the swimming area at the lake, which was nice, but one can only take so much lake water. Much of the staff didn't seem very friendly. We approached several staff during our stay for different reasons, and more often than not they seemed annoyed by our questions. With that said, the owner was awsome. She seemed to want to go out of her way to make sure her guests were happy. We will be back, but not during a holiday or themed weekend due to poor activity planning. Also, be advised you will pay 25 cents for every 6 minutes in the showers if you use the public bath house. I suggest the upper bathhouse over the lower, as the upper bathhouse has larger showers and the facilities are cleaner. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We camped here Sun-Tues. It rained much of our visit, so the hiking paths were not useable. Boat rental was nice and 1/2 price during the weekdays. Full-hookup sites were narrow, not pull-throughs, gravel filled, (therefore muddy) and not level. Wi-Fi was only available at the lower campgrounds (#100-200), but those sites were swampy from the rain and not near the lake, beach or playground area. The bathhouse was clean: showers cost 25 cents for 6 minutes! Would visit again to see if we had a better impression when its not raining and muddy. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

An older park, but nice with some full timers. Sites with full hookup are away from lake and small. We stayed four nights in 25' motorhome. The owners very helpful and friendly. The owners are still making improvements, but park in very good condition. Were there on weekend with Halloween activities for kids. The campground owners had a very good activity listing with fun for all. We will definitely return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
