Wi-Fi was available but had to pay separate fee. Does not take credit cards. Has mini golf and laundry. Very quiet. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park all though not a resort has many fine points if you are looking for a true park. The park is clean and well maintained, the owners are taking large steps to enhance the park for everyone. There is a good Mini Golf course many play areas and the Alpacas to entertain campers. We stayed there for a week and would go back. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Under new management and being slowly renovated from a neglected state. We stayed there 3 months, in the winter. Propane tank rental and delivery is available. It's quiet there in the winter. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We were looking for a campground for Labor Day weekend that was not booked solid. So after researching on the internet we came across this one so we booked a site. I would not call this a "Resort" it's more of just a plain old campground. There seemed to be a lot of seasonal campers set up here as the RV's were more or less set up on a permanent basis. Some were very old a run down with a lot of junk piled around them. One even had a full size refrigerator sitting on the front porch. There seemed to be a "Hillbilly" type atmosphere there. Pool was not heated as stated. Hot tub was shut down. Restrooms were not cleaned all weekend. Toilets in men's room were nasty. Fishing pond was no more than a big puddle of green stagnated water. The owners were very nice though. I believe they recently took over the property. Some improvements have been made. The mini golf course is new and nice. The game room is not much although the pool table was kind of nice as we played several games on it during our stay. They show movies outside on Saturday nights which is kind of neat. They made homemade doughnuts on Labor Day morning which was different. And the Alpaca zoo was unique. Maybe if they continue to make improvements we might return someday but probably not anytime soon. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very peaceful, natural setting. Although sites vary greatly in size, all are nicely spaced from each other affording good privacy. There are several loops; a couple of the loops have no hookups whatsoever. Many of the sites have electric only, however a few also have water hookups. The "White Oak" loop has a new restroom / shower house, and a new restroom / shower house is under construction in the "Pine" loop. The showers are private rooms. The restrooms were clean. There is access to the reservoir with a boat ramp and docks. There are a couple of hiking trails within the park but many more in the area. This is a particularly beautiful part of the state with rolling hills and deep forests. Day and night we found the park to be quiet and very relaxing; even during the weekend when the occupancy rate was higher. Our AT&T cell phone worked well and we received several T.V. stations with our digital TV. There is no camp store however firewood is sold for $5. Nice sized bundle for the price. A super Wal-Mart is approximately 16 miles away in Bloomington. Bloomington is worth a visit for the day with its cultural attractions and numerous unique restaurants. Very friendly and accommodating "concession er" running the place. Sites are wooded/shaded. Some sites are very spread out while others are not. Some sites are large while others are small. And some sites are level and some, not so much. Didn't need a reservation so driving through and picking a site worked well. There are a lot of sites that can't be reserved so there were a lot to choose from. Was fairly busy when I was there but not booked solid. Not terribly far from Indianapolis and in fact we commuted to the city from this campground. It took about 45 minutes. 15-20 minutes to get to Bloomington then another 30 minutes to get to the outskirts of Indy. There are a lot of red lights though and going north from the campground, the road is very curvy with lots of sharp turns. There isn't much in the immediate vicinity of the campground in terms of shopping or restaurants. This campground doesn't have an excessive amount of silly rules and there are plenty of dumpsters conveniently located that you are allowed to use. Imagine that. Well maintained & Good value. I'd return. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

This is by far my favorite campground!! The sites are so nicely spread out and secluded. You really feel like your camping in the woods (with still having a restroom/shower near by!). Perfect if your looking for secluded/private/woodsy camping! Highly recommended!! We camped here in a Tent.

This is an older Forest Service campground that is constantly being updated. There is a beautiful swimming beach and a boat ramp for launching, both included in the cost of camping. There are tent sites and plenty of big sites that can hold a large rig and water craft, too. Sites are shaded, with stands of trees between each for semi-privacy. The shower houses are very clean and modern. All trees on access roads and sites are kept trimmed. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
