Our home for the Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. One of the only times a year we " rough it." No electric or water hookups, so conserve what's in the tank and make sure you have empty black/grey tanks because there are no dumpstations either. It sounds bad, but we love it! Bring your generator if you want air conditioning though. It gets pretty hot out here. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The location to downtown is excellent. The campground area that was open when we arrived was on the edge of the large parking lot that required the you back the rig over a curb and up against the fence. The sites were all sloping forward and even with blocks under our front jacks we could not get level. Also the sites are very narrow, but given the number of campers they allow each to take two sites. There was another campground area that looked nice, level and shaded, but it was gated off while we were there. The fair grounds are great to walk or ride bikes around, and there looks to be activities going on most weekends. They had a National Fly Ball competition and model train show going on so we went to both. Unless I had a reason to be close to downtown I will not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate was for FMCA Rally. Fairgrounds are near downtown Indianapolis and in the older, poorer part of town, but plenty of security during our stay. Sites varied from fairly nice to not anywhere near being level. Plenty of room for rally. Great venue buildings. For those not with a rally, instructions on the electric boxes to call the security number to pay for your site. Garbage barrels right in front of MH and picked up daily. Would stay again even without being part of a group. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Grassy but solid sites. Verizon 4g was exceptional. I was here with FMCA rally so price is just a guess. They had over 1800 rvs here for the rally. Only had 30 amp power but full hookup. Water pressure was extreme -- blew the end off one of my hoses. Pressure reducers at the faucet are a must. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Indy Lakes is all about the owners. They go out of their way to make sure every one of their customers are taken care of. James is the kind of owner who will come over and help if your rig is having a problem. It's clear many improvements have been make at this parks recently. 50amp service, water, and sewer all functioned very well. Wireless internet signal is very good and their cable is also very good. Great location to the Indianapolis area and would recommend the park to anyone. Big rig access is no problem. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here on our way back from purchasing our new trailer in Iowa. This campground seems to be geared towards fishermen. The bathrooms were clean, and the staff was friendly. This is a good one night stop. I am not sure if we would stay for multiple days. Location was close to restaurants and interstate. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Just a gravel spot with a lot of monthlies. 2 big fishing ponds. (I would not consider them lakes.) The staff was friendly. There were no fire pits as you are in the city. Locals come there for the catch and release fishing. Competitions on the largest fish run regularly. Would stay if in Indy for a short time. Not what I was expecting from some of the reviews. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice, clean park. I checked in over the phone, but they put me in the perfect site for my big rig. The site was very close to level and plenty wide enough to spread out. Utilities are well laid out. Nice lake - and convenient to everything in Indy. I will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice park. The girl who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The sites were large with grassy lawns. The roads are gravel and paved. The restrooms and large laundry room were very clean. Close to the Interstate and downtown. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stumbled on this place getting out of the way of Storm Sandy. The office had closed early for the weather but we found a spot, checked in later and all was well for a two-day stay. There is a lot of great dog walking space around a pretty nice size catch and release pond. There are quite a few long term campers but everything is tidy and organized. The Wi-Fi is great, the people friendly and the access to shopping etc fabulous. I would not hesitate to recommend. The only down side is the tar in the clothes driers in the laundry. That really needs to be fixed. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
