Excellent experience. Exceptionally clean restrooms and showers. We were the only campers present. 15 spaces available. Electric hookup, potable water available and dump station. Quiet, and 11 miles from West Lafayette. We camped here in a Truck Camper.
Very nice little county park. We were the only occupants in the park. Very clean restrooms and it was patrolled by deputy during the evening. Very quiet and would highly recommend this park for overnight or multiple days. It is outside of the city a ways so stock up on food and fuel before heading to the park. Good base camp for activities in the area. Would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a small, quiet, out of the way campground. There are 15 electric sites with some primitive campsites. All pads are gravel and level side to side, and mostly level front to back. The site are not huge, but wide open enough at the front to make parking a large trailer easy. The restroom/showers were very clean. It is about 10 miles west of the Purdue campus. I stayed while attending a home football game, and will use this campground again. Reservations have to be made with the Tippacanoe County Parks department over the phone, receiving a mail-in reservation form that must be returned with a check. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Very secluded, county owned park. Gravel sites. 1-9 are shaded along wooded ravine. 10-15 are in open area across road. Dump station is very convenient. Small, stocked pond onsite great for kids fishing. Excellent area to ride bikes. Near larger county park with trails and disc golf course. Less than one mile from full golf course. Facilities on site for retreats, receptions, family reunions etc. (Was originally a 4-H camp in 1920s). Shower house for CG is very new- nice, large and clean. Reservations are made through the county park department. This is a great place to stay for a quiet getaway. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
