Stayed here one night while passing through on I-35. Very remote but easy to find and quiet. Only two others there with us. Water hookups are spigots placed one to a row so you can fill up there or there's one at the dump station, which, by the way, is a very easy in and out. Downside, as in a lot of states, the facilities are run down, restroom/shower house(s) are VERY dated and in need of fix up, spruce up. We'd stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a good campground for a one night stay over on your way to someplace else. Other than hiking, there is nothing to do here. There is not an office or a store. You can't buy firewood or ice. There are no water hookups. There are few if any shade trees at the camp sites. Each of the three campgrounds has a small playground, but they are far away from the camp site areas. The restrooms are clean but are very rustic and run down. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
