The owner Wally has brought this area up-to-speed with improvements and added additional spots further back on the property to make it convenient for overnight/weekend campers. He knows it lacks in some areas (picnic tables being added; considering fire rings & BBQ stands) compared to high end places. Many opt to camp at the State Park 7 miles out of town but if you are visiting Strawberry Point it is easier to bring the rig than to arrange for a room that may not be available here but in a town 20 miles away. We have stayed twice for family weddings and it is so easy to come in / out without worrying about gates that we were able to enjoy the festivities. With time this will be a very attractive RV location and is already popular with fall hunters. We camped here in a Motorhome.
