We stayed here based on other reviews. We were very disappointed, site they gave us was on the "street", in area of long term residents, no shade, yet there were numerous shady sites available (and continued to be available right through our departure). The picnic table is right on the street and after a big thunderstorm it became an island surrounded by water which didn't recede until late in the day. We had to avoid the dog poop to walk to the restrooms and showers. The Wi-fi is spotty at best, there were several times I tried to connect only to find no signal. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Good value for $. We were escorted to the site which was long and mostly level. Because we were only using 30 amps we were in a more remote spot. Access roads easy to negotiate. Friendly staff. Would stay here again although it is several miles from downtown Abilene. Wi-Fi was $6.95 per day. Did not use. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is the second time we have stayed here for a week. The weekly rate is $125, which is $18 a night. It's nice and staff is very helpful. Really didn't notice any freeway noise. There's a Shell convenience store on site and an RV dealership there too. They have cable and you can get WiFi for a reasonable fee, good enough to game with. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

From the highway this appears to be a nice shady park. The sites are shady, but gravel and dusty with the Kansas wind. And the highway noise is really quite loud. The pool was nasty when we were there. The showers are okay, but nothing special. There is an RV dealer on site which could be handy, and the store is pretty well stocked. It's probably okay for an overnight stay if you are in a hard-side camper that blocks out the highway noise. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

First of all, site was very unlevel,needs gravel in the sites, and they are close together on the pull throughs! Water pressure was a problem. Called the store, they sent a young man to our site, water pressure was fine then. Next morning, no water at all. Called the store again, to find out there were several reports of low water pressure so they were working on the problem. Finally, in the late afternoon, water was on again with decent pressure. However, at 6:30 am the next morning, no water pressure! We informed the store, we were planning on leaving before 9 a.m. as they had someone coming in that day for that site. So, no morning shower! will not return to this campground! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate based on one week cost of $125. Very nice and competent staff. Nice long site and easy hook ups. About 15 stations to watch. Wi-Fi is AmeriSpot which is reasonable for a week and 11MB. They'll even arrange for the handyman to fill the propane and bring it back if you have to be gone. Right off the freeway but far enough back and down from the freeway that there is next to no noise at night. Also has the advantage of a Shell station right there with diesel and easy access for big rigs. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

They had a swimming pool and mini golf. Needed some upkeep. Had blacktop roads but gravel sites. Easy on and easy off from interstate. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park was nice sized and had many pull through sites. The grounds were well maintained as was the pool. We did not use the restrooms or showers. They had full hookups, cable and WiFi, although the latter was not free ($7 for 24 hrs.). The camp store was well-stocked and had fast food to go. Staff were friendly and helpful. The sites were generally narrow, but accessible to big rigs, however there were quite a few season/yearly residents, whose RVs were not necessarily in good repair. OK for an overnight stop - probably wouldn't stay there much longer. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is affiliated with a dealership as well, which makes it wonderful for getting accessories or help. They also have a full service area. They are located right off of I-70, but the campground itself is far enough off the highway to elminiate most highway noise. Every time we've camped here, the people have all been friendly. It may not be the fanciest, but it has been a good experience every time. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Really not impressed with this campground. It needs a lot of TLC. In reading the rules they say to have your pet on a leash & pick up after them. The first time I walked around in the grass....you guessed it, I stepped in dog crap. The good thing about the park is they have excellent water pressure, 75 pounds so make sure you have a regulator. You must drive through town to reach this park and getting in is a little testy if someone else is coming out. Strictly a one-way very narrow road with lots of pot holes. Don't think we would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We just did an overnight stay at this park. It was a little off the beaten path. The facility was cleaned and well maintained, even had a swimming pool and cable. Didn't have any trouble maneuvering our rig around the park. When we come through this area we plan on staying here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here in a motor home while attending a greyhound event. It was very convenient to local attractions (Greyhound Hall of Fame is within walking distance) as well as downtown. The campground is a stop for the trolley that takes tours of the area. The campground was clean. It's not the prettiest place, but was perfect for our needs. The staff was very nice. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A little off the beaten path, but easy to find. Entrance a little tight for a large rig. Park has two sections, one in the shade and one in the open for satellite purposes. We chose the latter. Park appears well maintained. Staff very helpful. We were just there for a layover so our purposes were served. Would definitely return. They accept all discounts except Passport America. Long, gravel pull-thru's at the back of the park. Entrance sign not clearly visible, OK for 1 night stay. Not much to choose from in Abilene. Only stayed because visiting family. Very foul water smell like sulfur, took 2-3 days to clear from RV faucets, tasted horrible. Grass had the same smell - had to bathe our dogs. Will probably not stay here again. This park is just down the street from the Eisenhower Library and a short drive to downtown. Portions of the park are treed, and a little tricky to get into. We had to disconnect our toad to get parked properly. We asked about any storm shelter on the grounds. They suggested going to the court house which was a few blocks down the road. Fortunately, we didn't have a storm that night. Dog walking is fine on the back half of the property. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Convenient to the Eisenhower museum and library. Quiet and peaceful park right in the heart of town. Staff were very friendly. Abilene does not do anything on Mondays!. The trolley does not run. Attractions are and museums (not Eisenhower) are closed. The old west town is out of business and the buildings are falling down yet Abilene still advertises it. The campground is nice and we would stay here again but not on a Sunday-Monday. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A fairly clean RV park. Friendly management. Level and wide sites, gravel roads. This is a quiet park. Located 3 blocks from the Eisenhower Library/Museum. This is a easy in and out park. They have WiFi, however antennas are located on the office and the restroom/laundry building which means you had better be located in the front portion of the park. I was in the rear section and there was NO WiFi coverage here. Check to see where your site will be before paying to be sure you can get WiFi coverage if that is important to you. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Truth in advertising/deceptive advertising?? When a park offers a service, they should offer it completely. WIFI, that thing that has taken us from the shabby little room with a phone connection, to the comfort of our own RV. This park says they have WIFI, they really don't, they have 2 antennas, one at the bath house the other in the big rig site. By there own admission the only place you can get WIFI to work, is in the office. An office which seemed to be closed much more then it was open. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Clean park with plenty of room at the pull-through sites. Friendly staff. Located on the south edge of town and within walking distance to Eisenhower Center, but not a lot of traffic noise. Nothing fancy, but more than adequate for several days' stay. Heck, who would want to stay in Abilene longer than that anyway? We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed on the way back home. Very nice owner, we called ahead and when we asked about pizza places they took the time to look up some numbers so we could have pizza delivered to the site. Small pool, but good enough. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Gravel wide access roads. Friendly, efficient office. There are two parts to campground. Front part of campground near office is in trees and are the wider sites. Back part of campground has an open aspect with long gravel pull-thru sites with one row having grass between sites, the other row was all gravel. All sites were level and most had full hook-up. The campground lacked ambience and could have done with a little more maintenance but a good location to visit the Eisenhower Museum. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice park very close to the Eisenhower Center. Friendly office lady. WiFi a little iffy. Restrooms are being remodeled and when done will be like new. We camped here in a Motorhome.
