Friendly owners. Well maintained and manicured site. You must be self-contained as there are no amenities here. No fire rings or picnic tables on the sites. It's far enough off the main road to minimize highway noise, but it is directly adjacent to a side street. We had to unhook the Ford Ranger we tow behind our 29' MH so we could back into our spot that would have easily accommodated a 40' trailer. We had no power problems as previously reported, and we had the A/C running full blast during this 105 degree day and 95 degree night! Not a bad deal considering we paid only $10 due to the PA rate offered. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This place would serve as an overnight stop if nothing else were available, otherwise pass it by. The only reason we stayed was to get off the road because of high winds. The office is in a shabby trailer, no facilities available. Eleven full H/U sites with 30 amp, but power is low. My Progressive Industries Electrical Management System tripped when the micro-wave was turned on under normal electrical load (lights, TV). The maximum allowable load was 16 amps. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a small park without many amenities. Location is beautiful as it is on one of the finger lakes of Lake Champlain. RV park apparently is mainly for people with boats; however, we loved the quite, quaint sitting at the edge of the village of Whitehall. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would go back. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
