This is a very nice COE park. There are several COE campgrounds in this section of Pomona Lake and all looked very good. Rate reflects a Golden Age discount for .50 amp, water, and sewer. There are only twelve of these sites and quite a number of electric and water sites. Contractors seemed nice and informative. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This campground is on Pomona Lake 24 miles south of Topeka. The campground is absolutely gorgeous with lots of trees and very spacious campsites. Every site is shaded. There are several different camping areas and some are primitive, but there are many full hookup sites and even more water/electric sites available. The sites in Burning Heart area are full hookup and there are several very long pull through sites that are quite nice. Most of the sites have only a view of the water, but there are a few water front sites near the marina. And several sites have no view of the water at all, but the wooded surroundings are very beautiful. We didn't use the shower facilities but the building looks very new and modern. We will definitely camp here again. The only reason I didn't give a 10 is that the cellphone service was marginal. Our wireless Internet card did work there however. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
